A beautiful neighborhood park with nice lake views. Pretty quiet when I visited, not a crowded one at all. There is a playground, a baseball court and some tennis courts in the park, but most people are here for a nice walk or jog. I enjoyed a nice morning run here.

Not a bad place for a quick stroll around the lake. On site are a few playgrounds many benches for sitting and viewing the awesome scenery. You can see water Lillys depending on what time of year it is. Lots of birds to see and things to photograph.

Perfect place to meet for a socially distanced picnic! We flew into Denver around 6p on a Sunday. Our dear friends met us here with take-out. There was plenty of space to set up out blankets and food. We chose to be right next to the playground so our oldest could run around and let some energy out. This park was beautiful, safe and felt well kept.

I love this park I live like 2 blocks away from this park. Ive been coming to this park since I was a little kids & Id come & visit my grandparents. So many great memories. I even lost my virginity at this park.

Big park has a playground for the kids big wide lake dont know if fishing prohibited but beautiful scenery benches etc

Nice lake to relax for a bit of quiet time or to walk the dogs. Many spots to cast the pole to fish for fun.

Nice pedestrian path around the lake fishing sucks havent caught anything yet and Ive been there 5 *.

Its on of colorado many beautiful parks its beautiful peaceful and also a great clean place to just enjoy a beautiful seen and nature

Love this gorgeous Lake Park!Such a nice walk around the lake with mountain views. Lots of open space to roam, and the big beautiful sky. There is a little kids play area, 2 parking lots and male/female restrooms. Not busy, usually very few people, and its nice to walk the dog and see a few other walkers/joggers and doggies.

This park is just fine. The View on both sides of the road prohibits one from truly immersing themselves in the nature. You can see and hear the highway from any point in the park. I guess if you live around here, its fine to visit, but certainly there are better examples of true nature. The Landscaping here leave something to be desired, as views of the lake are sometimes obscured by what looked to be a large overgrown weeds. As far as weeds go oh, I would look for the dispensary kind. Also, why is it called Rocky Mountain Lake Park when all I can see is a Motel 6?

Nice park. Lots of space to do everything you want to do. The only issue is no restrooms.

Nice little quiet park to walk around

We picked up food from one of our favorite restaurants and parked here and ate it. Beautiful park, delicious food. BTW the food was from La Casita.

Safe to say my dog Nala enjoyed the park, and thats the most important thing for me. Great view and pretty little park and lake to go for a quick walk, or spend an entire afternoon.

Great place to expose my grandsons to fishing where they even caught some smallbass and bluegills. Lots of fun

I adore this place. The park is great to have a picnic with your family, walk your dog or go for running in the morning. The views are spectacular, you should really visit this place to watch the sunset, feed the ducks and just have a great time in a calm atmosphere.

Very entertaining to be outside and enjoy the beauty and nature that is well expressed at this park. I was here for about 5 hours and was just there looking at the birds and taking long walks

Great place to walk the dog. Little problem with homeless people towards the Federal boulevard side of the park

Fishing this lake has become difficult. Cattails have taken over and only a few cutouts

Nice parm paved path around a lake. Saw some ppl fishing. Has 2 portapotties and a few tables. I didnt notice any water fountains. Lots of trees, some open space. Also has a smallish playground.

Nice place to take a stroll around a lake! Lots of dogs and geese! There are tables around to have a picnic and lots of open space for gatherings. Restrooms arent always open.

Its a great place to walk your dog , have a picnic or take a stroll. The views of the mountains is unbelievable and the park and lake are large with plenty of places to sit down and picnic or fish. I personally love this park its a hidden gem.

I grew up in the neighborhood, still living in the neighborhood, catch fish in the lake, enjoy watching people jogging around the lake! Whats not to like? Wake up Yall, but please dont litter.

Great spot to fish. I have had a lot of luck on the west end of the pond near The Cattails. They stock the pond occasionally. Lots of panfish like bluegill and pumpkin seed. I have also caught largemouth bass. Would definitely recommend for someone who enjoys fishing, but doesnt like not catching fish on their trip. Great spot to bring the kids to, since youre almost guaranteed to get a bite

This is a surprisingly clean space. Ive noticed that there are a lot of places where you go and its a wonderful time but theres glitter everywhere and it doesnt seem like anybody quite seems to care about whether or not theres glitter on the ground. However this is not one of those places. I am extremely happy to say that it was easy access for me and Im wheelchair-bound. My children were able to enjoy the park without being harassed by other children. I loved the fact that the other parents were their parenting their children and not just sitting in a tree in the park which I have observed in a lot of parks. The parking here is really great. Im extremely impressed with whoever is in charge. They definitely deserve a raise. Job well done folks!

It did make the boys baseball game difficult this new bathroom they are temporarily closed

This is so sentimental to me. Have a family? Come here. Want to workout outside and not be judged and walk and absorb nature and do it on a time crunch? Go here. Just go here and let the park do the talking. Includes fishing too. The marsh and the life living there is beautiful to study.

Seems like a nice park with a walking trail a small lake and a playground and porta-potties.. Nice and quiet on a saturday morning. Plenty of ducks and geese.. Right off highway, close to federal blvd, easy to find..

Beautiful park! There’s a trail to run or walk, dog friendly, a lot of seating and grass. The water is also super clear with geese. Really a nice and peaceful place to visit! Highly recommend!

Very nice park with a big lake. Theres a childrens playground also that has a lot of activities. People were fishing in the lake. There was a lot of cute ducks. The park was really clean and easy to get to. It had its own parking. A lot of people were having picnics. There was a tennis court and field for baseball or softball. Its a big park!

We love walking around the lake here. So much wildlife. Beautiful!

We brought our own grill... But we didnt have too... There are grills built in w some of the park benches... Lots of people fishing. Lots of people grilling too.. Dogs catching frisbees ... You name it.

Nice place to relax. The side of the park that faces the Express way might be too noisy for some people. So pick your stop wisely.
