One of the best independent playhouses in town. Their productions cover the spectrum and they are always provocative and unpredictable. A perfect date night for lovers, or a great place to support local talent for lovers of theatre.

Just saw a matinee of Constellations - what a spectacular first visit to the Curious Theatre! The acting was purely professional and I love the theatre space. Ill be back!

It is built in a very old church in the heart of Denver. The parking next to it is small but there are many other parking lots in the vicinity so is not problem. The theatre houses many interesting plays. The one we watched on a Sunday afternoon was called Gloria and was a very sensitive one. We loved the intimate setting of the theatre. The washrooms are clean and water fountain is also there. There is a bar on the upper level which also has coffee. Overall a very quaint theatre.

Wow! Nice place but way different play than I was expecting! Do not take children of any age!

The best place for No Guts no story

I went to see The Secretary. Ill admit, that was an awesome play.

Plays are always thought provoking. Talented actors. Good set production. Friendly company. The theater is in a renovated church and provides ample parking in the lot and across the street. I would have given 5 stars but it always gets very warm inside. AC is often turned off during the play. It doesnt keep us from attending.

Cozy, unique space. Very committed to presenting somewhat challenging (and very entertaining) work.Ive now seen three plays here and all were super great - acting and production quality.(Please stop pushing tony kushner on us - I know hes important but what a horrible windbag).Needs more bathrooms.

Saw a free staged reading here today. The performance was great. The venue is very unique. I loved it! Will be back!

The Thanksgiving Play is a laugh out loud comedy addressing white privilege, racism, political correctness, cultural appropriation, and mythological history. If you can, go see it!

I really enjoyed the layout. Since the theater is built into a former church, most of the seats are very close to the stage giving the viewers a very intimate experience. We really enjoyed the production of Detroit 67 and thought the actors were great.

Love the reuse of the building. The theatre company is outstanding. The subscription is so affordable! The plays are wonderfully provacative!! Only downside is that its very hard to see past the people in front of you and I almost always have to lean to the side and get a neck ache.

Theater that matters is what Curious is all about! Moving from the east coast, I was searching for a place as a black male that is putting on shows that represent me and my story. Thank you Curious for putting on theater that represents society!

I saw Detroit 67 and it was absolutely fabulous. The acting was superb. The story was relevant and sparked conversation which the theater holds a place for after the show. Communication is the key to life.

Awesome theatre, intimate setting, great sound and the ushers did a good job handling two old bats who wouldnt stop talking.

Plays you will be thinking about for days afterA venue thats the perfect size and affordable tics. Challenging social issues and bthemes.

Amazing plays, actors, and venue

Ive been a subscriber for several years, this place delivers on their mission of bringing new, interesting theater to Denver. The building is an old church, very ably converted to a good medium-sized theater, and recent upgrades have given it an improved level of finish.The only ding is that a couple of their core actors arent among my favorites in the area.

Love love love the risks and subject matter of this theatre takes.

Saw Gloria, the play was great, the atmostphere is wonderful and seating arrangement is very comfortable.

I went with a friend to see the Mile Hi-Larity show last week 4/9. It was such a great show, they really put themselves out there on stage. A very talented and funny group.The venue was clean, well run, friendly staff and a decent bar. I look forward to going back sometime soon!
