The in-person National Philanthropy Day award luncheon event has been held in early November at Seawell Ballroom for years and has been sold out with 800+ attendees. Since an event of that size was not possible or appropriate for 2020, the move to virtual was inevitable. The team at Seawell Ballroom did a fabulous job of presenting a professional and dynamic event hybrid virtual event for us. It was comforting to host the event in our traditional venue even though attendees joined us from their computers. The planning team of Matt Leaver and Tara Miller were true partners in the process and helped us navigate this tricky year. They answered questions quickly, shared suggestions and templates, and made the event planning process as seamless as possible. We also took advantage of the rehearsal day model, recording a few presentations ( or remarks from speakers) that day. On event day, we had just a few folks in the room and the technical team had professional lighting, sound, and media to make a complete event. They closely followed our script with a mix of a live emcee, recorded spots, and a slide show. Overall, we were thrilled with the whole process although we can’t wait together in person in November 2021. In addition to the wonderful service and event, it felt good to support our long-term partner and fellow non-profit in the community during these difficult times. Its true- we will all get through this together. We highly recommend considering the DCPA for your organizations virtual event.

Savanna, Story and the rest of the team at Seawell Ballroom were fantastic to work with. As a wedding photographer, its important to have a vendor team that works well together so that we can create a great guest experience for everyone attending. Their communication leading up to and on the wedding day was outstanding. They worked with me to ensure that the lighting and decor would photograph well. Ive photographed weddings at ballrooms all over town and not only is the room stunning but the team behind the scenes takes the experience to a whole new level.

Im an Events Planner that hosted our company holiday party at the Seawell in Dec. 2019. I would have to say Ive been wanting to plan something there for a long time. The venue is just spectacular. Yes, its a blank slate. But its a beautiful blank slate. The views west are amazing from the room. The capabilities the ballroom has for lighting, AV and production are unlike any hotel ballroom. The cost to do the production was VERY reasonable. You have to use Epicurean Catering for food. They are the best caterer in town for a reason. Ive never had so many compliments on the food at an event than this one. This party was also called, the best ever. Im so impressed by the Seawell and Epicurean. From start to finish. The customer service, follow through, and execution were all 110%!! I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone planning a fabulous event.

As an event planner, I work with many venue planners and can accurately say that working with Danielle was a true pleasure. We worked together on a corporate holiday party last year. She was knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend hosting an event in the Seawell ballroom. The views are gorgeous and the staff is helpful and friendly!

If youre capable of renting this space its perfect. It not too big and its not too small. Easy enough space to do catering in the back kitchen. Lots of room to play around with as far as decor.

I was married at the Seawell, and they created the most magical night of my life. Dawn Williams and her entire staff made this the most memorable event you can possibly imagine! The level of service and care we received throughout all of the planning was beyond anything I could have expected. The space is so beautiful – upon walking in for our first introduction to the ballroom, there was no question in our minds that we had to be married at the Seawell! The ceilings are high and beautiful, the sweeping views of the mountains create a stunning backdrop, and the things they can do with sound and light are breathtaking. Schedule a visit and consider the Seawell for your event – you will NOT be able to walk away.

Went here to see my daughters graduation from nursing school. It was very open with lots of space. The parking garage provided plenty of parking and it was easy to access.

I had the pleasure of working with Savanna Campbell, Event Manager, for a charity event at the Seawell Ballroom. Both our team and our guests were impressed with how beautiful the space turned out for our Reach for the Stars event! The planning process with Savanna was wonderful and she was invested and interested in getting to know our organization. 5 stars!

Edit: The Seawell Ballroom hosted DELTA High Schools second graduation ceremony on May 30th and it was amazing! Once again, the team was nothing but fun and helpful. They were just as excited as we were about the students graduating! Savanna Campbell made the entire process easy as can be and was happy to help with questions or last minute changes. Thank you so much for another great graduation ceremony! Well see you for Class of 2020s Graduation next May!DELTA High Schools 2018 Graduation Ceremony was a huge success! This is probably on my list of best views in town. The event I attended was decorated so nicely I cant wait to attend another event here.

I was lucky enough to attend the CTAs annual Apex Awards. What a great place! Music, food and drinks were all great. And the upstairs ballroom is neat. Cool architecture.

Great luncheon

The Seawell Ballroom and its production team are magnificent. We have produced our annual Awards Gala in there for the past 4 years. The room has incredible flexibility to change looks, to create a fresh feel for each event. The production team is top notch: talented, professional and fantastic to work with. We plan to use the space for another industry event in February. Highly recommend

Loved it. We saw the last concert there. They will apparently begin renovation here. It was a great concert venue.

What can I say? Its a meeting room. The layout is really odd. They need to reverse the one escalator to let you leave for lunch. Otherwise its the stairs. Not a huge deal, unless you have lots of people, or a crowd that isnt very agile. Its pretty poor planning.Catering is average, which is to say blah.

An amazing place with a wonderful wait staff and delicious food!!

I find this to be a very tough place to do an event the acoustics are not great the food is consistently very subpar and the floors move quite a bit when there are a group of people on them which makes it uncomfortable finally the contrast of light between the large beautiful windows that look at the mountains and the rest of the ballroom makes it incredibly hard to have conversations due to the high contrast of the space when it is a afternoon or early evening event

The ballroom is a nice space, its really large. I went for Mixed Taste and they had four sections of seating, the space is flat so theyre was a stage for the presenters. The sound system was good, I could easily hear everything. The cieling is neat, it had lots of lights and the room casts a blue glow.

Beautiful venue! Saw Mixed Tastes there. Large, open space. Could be a great location for a reception or other charity gathering.

Marvelous venue! The caterer was perfection in service and food. The dance floor and seating were thoughtfully planned to accommodate all 450 people.

One of the Best Venues in TownWe had the opportunity to have our amazing wedding put on by the incredible staff and amazing venue in the summer of 2012. The venue if you have ever seen it is amazing. Ridiculously high ceilings, undulating ceiling with LEDs embedded like stars, massive grand window that opens out to the view of the rocky mountains in the west. First class site including hotels, shopping and theater in the surrounding areas.Perfect for all types of EventsEven though they put on a great wedding, I have seen amazing videos and pictures of trade shows, corporate events, etc that all look more amazing than the one before. The lighting system in this place is just insane, lighting makes the event. The in-house speakers are crystal clear for all events.Professional ExpertsThe staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. They are by your side during the whole event for all your necessities. There is a control room hidden above the ballroom that looks over the event and controls all video, audio, mechanics, and movement in the space.

Danielle Kelley and the DCPA team did an excellent job with setting up and running our companys program! This was our 8th annual program, and one of the best venues yet. The room looked even better than we imagined and the team was prompt and ready to assist us for every session. It was so great to have Danielle there checking in and going above and beyond offering advice and help any time it was needed. Our attendees all gave very positive feedback about the venue and it ran smoothly thanks to her and her day-of event team.

Every year GoCode is a success. Love this venue for 100-300 person crowds.

We had a wonderful event at Seawell Ballroom at the DCPA. From the Events Team, to Audio Visual and Lighting Design, all aspects came together to make our event a huge success. A fine venue. Parking is available, however prices vary depending on day/night, weekday/weekend, etc. Then prices skyrocket if there are special events going on!

Epicurean staff was arrogant and snobby. Management was condescending and horrible. These people are just awful. Accommodations do not compensate for personell. Hire new management!! Be kind to people!
