Great place to go for fun. And games. Fred is the best very knowledgeable about the games and a great guy. We look forward to he seeing him each year my wife and I go down for vacation.

Awesome vintage-vibe coastal town arcade and eatery with an affordable variety of fun games. Fantastic selection of affordable prizes that arent junk like most arcades, too! Very kind employees. Reminds me of a place from times past. Very entertaining, classic place to spend some time!

The kids has a blaster and you wont go broke. Oh and the food is better than Dave and busters.

Pretty good arcade food is a little pricey as expected nice area staff is good and there’s a pretty good selection of games!

Cool little place to play games on the boardwalk. They offer food and drinks as well. When redeeming your tickets in the counter machine be warned and watch because the machine counts incorrectly. Make sure you let them know and they will correct it. Overall we recommend stopping by for a visit.

Jeremy at Joyland was fantastic! We had.our doggies with us and didnt know they could not enjoy the beach with us so hubby waited for us at Joyland..Jeramy made.our dogs feel.super.special and made sure they had water and a snack..what a great guy! Thanks for making.our day even better!!!

A lot of games, this place hasn’t changed since I was a kid visiting with my parents, beautiful beach view and staff was helpful with bad games. Thanks again from Detroit.

Fun little arcade! My enjoyment of this place is mostly nostalgia-fueled but its definitely still worth a visit due to its proximity to the Ocean Walk Shoppes.

They do have some good arcade games here.

Good arcade but a lot of the awesome classic machines they have are busted and have been for awhile. They still have PLENTY of other ones, but the classics either dont take your quarters or just dont work. If they fixed them it would absolutely be a 5 stars from me! Marvel 2 used to have a busted joystick gate, but is fixed now, still however doesnt take your quarters in the player 1 slot. Not a classic but a fun one is Fruit Ninja, and its just not working. One of the Fast and Furious machines is not working. Only one of the two Daytona USA 2 machines is working, and the one that is working doesnt take your quarters.Like I said though, most all the other classics like Ghost Squad, Time Crisis 4, and Alien V Predator still work great, and there are also TONS of other machines that are buckets of fun. And if getting tickets is more your thing, there plenty to do there as well! If they fix the broken machines then I would bump it up to 5 stars

I came here with my husband for a date day. We did a little bit of shopping we had some lunch and we went over to the arcade where we had an amazing time laughing and playing. It felt like it did when we were on our second date. Everyone was very helpful I got a kick out of us the woman at the ticket counter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with us since we had no idea what we could do with our tickets that we had one since it had been so long. She showed us where to bring the tickets to get a receipt and then she gave us a special ticket where we could save up all of our tickets amount and use for later. This is a definite go to

GREAT little arcade. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The workers were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again when we come back to Daytona.

Its a great & super cheap no fancy frills arcade. If youre up for a beach side arcade thats been there forever, this is for u. They have carnival type food, fun cheap prizes and the games are super cheap. If ur looking for something clean and upscale or Dave & buster style, this isnt it. But you can spend $10 and win shot glasses, cheesy beach decor, and random toys. There are 2 arcades in the same section...some games may be from the Mardi gras arcade couple of stores down.

Decent arcade for the location but rather dirty and run down. Snack bar is surprisingly good. Games are clearly rigged and a bit overpriced but many are still fun. Whole place just feels like it needs a facelift and itd be awesome as Im sure it was when it first opened.

Needs a update. Ride at your own risk if you dare too.

Rude! After finally finding parking and finding the way in I walked in the door and was greeted with CLOSING!, 2 hours before the advertised closing time. We went out of our way to go here and we didnt even get a sorry.

Plenty of fun for kids and adults. You earn tickets to get prizes. Air conditioned and has places for outside sitting. Snack bar is convenient and was kept clean.

Worst customer service ever! We went on a walk with my grandpa and he got tired and needed a rest. So he sat in one of their chairs. There were no other customers and we were the only ones there but only my grandpa sat down with his oxygen tank. The employee there told us we couldnt sit there. So my winded grandpa had to get up and go. Little did the employee know we were planning on getting hotdogs there for lunch. When we mentioned that to him, he kissed his fingers and gestured for us to leave. We will never give them our business EVER.

Honestly not much to do but hit the arcade and grab a slice or pizza or a hotdog. They have taken all of the rides off the boardwalk and its just not the same anymore. I am aware that the hurricane Irma took half of it out, however there has been no talk of renewing the amusement side of things. Before they closed it all down though, there was an incident of a person falling off of the roller coaster because it failed to pass inspection and they kept it open anyway.

Always a good time with the kids. The people who work there will give you your money back if a game isnt working. I wish they had better prizes though. And dont ride the rides, the salt air rusts them

The machines are extremely old and broken down. Some of the skee ball machines didnt dispense tickets at all or keep track of your points. We encountered several machines that clearly have been loved over their many many years, which disabled proper usage and play. We still had fun but wont go back.

This is in Boardwalk Arcade and this is a great place to bring friends or family. It all cost alot though. There are expensive prices you can win when you can go to the boardwalk but I highly doubt nobody had won them because the tickets come very slowly and you could spend like 100 dollars on coins for tickets and you would end up walking out with some candy and one of those thangs you slap on your wrists. But all bad things aside its very fun.

I had bad experience with the place where I order French fries. The man who cooked them was very arrogant. He said he didnt put any nail inside the fries, he made me feel like I am a bad person. Like I put the nail by myself. He didnt say Im sorry. We are not for 1 basket with fries for 3$. This is ridiculous.

Manager at Joyland is very unprofessional. I placed a simple order of fries that were not what I expected. Manager refused to swap the order and he was very rude. A JOKE

There are a lot of different style games. Classic arcade and some new stuff too. My kids never want to leave when we come here.

Had fun playing the arcade games and the points never expire so you can have them give you vouchers and save them up for large prizes. They have some of the older games like ske ball and some of the newer games like electronic bowling. They also serve food. But make sure you bring cash because its not a cash only place. Its fun for the young or just young at heart like myself.

Typical tourist trap. Its fun if you have the money to waste. Staff was very friendly.

Fun place on the boardwalk. We had snacks which were really good and enjoyed arcade games. Did not try any of the rides. The ride at your own risk signs were a turn off. Staff was friendly and helpful, will go back for snacks and arcade.

Decent place by the beach. Has little more than that going for it. Many of the games are outdated and food/drink is a touch on the expensive side. Still a good place to kill a couple hours. Staff is friendly.

I give it two stars for adults but if you have small children you would probably consider it five stars. There are two arcade areas but only one place to get something to eat. One of the arcades does offer a slot selection of food but the biggest thing offered at the Joyland Amusement Park area is alcohol. I personally dont find that much joy and alcohol so I did not enjoy it.

Great experience with the family. The game staff were quick to solve any issues with games. The ticket attendants were very friendly.

Fun stuff n food

Went to Joyland during Bike Week. They were quite busy but the staff was really on the ball. My chilli cheese fries were very tasty in a greasy spoon sort of way. I mean that in a good and friendly way. If you find yourself in Daytona on the Boardwalk, stop in and have a bite. Their footlong was great according to the guy sitting next to me.

I have been visiting Daytona Boardwalk for over 20 years. I still enjoy going to the boardwalk every once in a while to play games and enjoy the beach. Joyland isnt a terrible place but it is definitely outdated and they dont have a huge variety of games. When i visit the boardwalk i usually go to Mardi Gras arcade. Mardi Gras has newer games and a lot of different games. Hope Joyland updates soon.

The cheap games werent bad but the amusement park was a horrible joke. There is only one roller coaster (which is sold separately from the other tickets) and everything else is carnival games (also not included) and spinning rides. They also have a sign outside that says 42 inches to ride with an adult and 48 inches to ride alone...but once you get inside theres height requirements on each ride..very very misleading. We interacted with about 15 people and THREE of them were friendly. The boardwalk is great but that amusement park was horrible. I would never recommend it.

First time here. And Daytona as well. Absolutely loved this place. Really awesome games in great condition. Amazing selection. Probably the best arcade Ive been to as far as games and options. And good amounts of tickets received to get prizes. Only complaints are it does get kinda hot, and the food is a bit pricey. The food is really good though fo4 an arcade and amusement area with a decent selection. But still a bit much. Overall, will definitely be going back for the games on the future! Thanks Joyland for making my first trip down there memorable. Defintely going to hit some rides next time!

Unsafe they let homeless people hang out in the store to cool down watch your little girls they stare hard and hold your purse or bag close one woman brushed me and Im pretty sure they were trying to get in my purse. If thats not enough. Prizes are a RIP off! Spent over a $100 for 4 people and ended up with a slappy hand a yo yo and a finger puppet. Not to mention getting our crappy prizes took longer than playing in the arcade. The long stringy gray hair woman spent 20 mins ignoring all the kids to attend to what appeared to be three homeless people trading game cards. Really hire more help! Another employee came back there a Male who took 10 mins messing with time cards which took the lady away from helping us another 10 mins he disappears and she goes back to the homeless ppl. Leaving 4 kids and parents waiting again. Games are ok dont waste your money but we wont be back on account of the unsafe environment and because of that lady at prizes nasty attitude and ignoring kids,if you hate kids get another job you look like you live with an I gotta poo face.

Really disappointed. I went there years ago and had a great time but now it just looks like an old abandoned theme park its actually kinda creepy.

Not the most well maintained place, but the games are reasonably priced and the location is great. The kids never want to leave!
