Community golf course is in decent shape. In my opinion, you can find better courses around Dayton, some even cost a lot less money. With the decision the City of Dayton made about wearing masks, I found it interesting that the City of Dayton makes you pay to social distance at Community Golf Course. If one would like to ride in a separate golf cart, one must pay $5 extra. I know; I know. If I dont like it, I should go somewhere else.

Great 32 holes! Nice size bar and food area. People are always friendly and also has a nice driving range to warm up. Well taken care of course.

The bunkers are nasty and there are a bunch of cut down stumps. Why not take the stumps out? The rest of the course and staff are good and above average.

First time I have played Community Golf Course. Liked it a lot. Would liked to have seen it before all the Ash trees needed to be cut down. Looking forward to my next round there.

Cannot figure out why they shut the other two down but it will be the demise of this one. Too crowded and tearing up the course.

People in pro shop act like you are doing them a favor to play there. Unfriendly. Course bunkers are mud. No rain checks if you play one hole and it rains you wasted your money

Course is well maintained and everyone is friendly. Plus the range is grass always a plus.

Well it was good but we live a mile from Kittyhawk that was shut down by the city. Not happy with that move

The course is average. The customer service though is not good. Like others said, the restaurant owner was the main problem. So you would think by avoiding the restaurant you would avoid him, but for some reason he is out patrolling the golf course. I was not treated well start to finish during my few hours there. I would not recommend this golf course.

Very fun course and was in great condition when I played there. Enjoyed it very much and pace of play was great. Had no problems getting g through in under 3 hours.

Course looks nice but I wouldnt know for sure.These guys are clowns, if you decide to come here make sure to check your expectations at the door. New to the area and this customer service is not what I have seen so far in Ohio. So disappointing.

I like the employees, but the course is in pretty rough shape. The bunkers are ground under repair and the emerald ash borer has decimated many of the trees. I will say that the course layout with its elevation changes is great. If the city would put money into this course it could be great again.

Dont play here. I dont want it to get too crowded.

Decent course. A little high priced for what it is...feel like Im always waiting to hit when I play there. Finding the next hole is not the simplest of tasks if youre not familiar with the layout.

Played / walked the back 9 of the Hills course last night with my son. Really enjoyed it. Course in good shape, greens very tricky but fair, and my goodness, it is hilly! Definitely lives up to its name as the Hills course. Great workout on an 87 degree evening in Dayton Ohio.

Hills course is always a challenge with a lot of character. Very scenic course!

Tee boxes are all crab grass... greens were in good shape .

City of Dayton needs to put some maintenance into Community. Trees falling down and need cut up. The 40 year old split rail fence along Dorothy Lane is broken and horrible. Finally some new golf carts !!!

Good course but sand traps are rocky

I liked it for a very old golf course. It was very challenging. The course was very well taken care of. There were plenty of hills and plenty of trees to contend with. I will definitely go back. I recommend it to everybody that plays.

The only place in town!

Course is in great shape right now. Only issue is the bunkers are flooded or unhittably hard.

Just started working there and my co-workers are the bomb but the restaurant owner Wayne is VERY paranoid. Thinks everyones out to rip him off. The customers are genuinely appreciative and kind. So if u overlook the restaurant manager, Wayne, its really a nice place to be.

Fairly easy course. Not many hazards and generally wide open fairways. Wont break the bank either.

Good public municipal course that turns 100 today!! Greens smooth but a tad slow compared to other public courses south of town.

Great golf course, the food in the restaurant is Fantastic!! Lots of specials and everything cooked fresh!! Pizza is better than Marions and the chicken salad is a hit!! Nice to come into after long day on the course! Full bar and patio!! Great place to sit back, watch sports and relax!! They also have the best frozen Margaritas in town!

HI I have a question regarding this golf park, in Google Earth Satellite view there appear a number of oval, randomly round shaped patches of pale green color distinctive of the surrounding green grass ,,, Are they some ponds or craters that can hold water or are some things else???

Get the goose poop pick up and get those geese off the course. Get a dog to help you

I have enjoyed many rounds of golf on the Hills and the Dales courses. They are unigue and fun. Every interaction with their staff has been pleasant and helpful. I look forward to my next round!

The golf course is in good shape and Nigel in the Pro Shop provided great customer service. However, Wayne Warren, the apparent owner of the Resturant on the premises was the most disrespectful person Ive had to deal with in a long long time. Not only was he drunk while in a Community Golf Course shirt, he was cussing in front of a group of small children that were there for a kids day at the course. Its very unfortunate that I will no longer be giving my business to the golf course because of someone that isnt even associated with the course other than the ownership of the restaurant that is on the property.If you do decide to visit Community Golf Course just keep your children away from the restaurant.

No much of a golfer, although i try. Not been to madden yet but the other to city courses are wonderful. The staff is always so accommodating

Nice greens. Fairways are not the best, and holes are really close together. Short course so bring that iron game. 18th is a cool view and tee shot.

Ive played Community for 25 years. Its in great shape. The hilly terrain makes for fun golf. It plays around 6350 yards. But feels even shorter. For $28 on the weekends its a steal. One caveat. If youve forgotten what muni greens are like itll take some getting use to. These arent cut using a stimp meter.

The bar owner, Wayne Warren, was drunk and unprofessional. He was cussing in front of a youth group of league golfers while in his community golf course work attire. He made a huge spectical in from of little kids, moms, dads and grandparents.The pro shop was fantastic and their customer service is spot on. Course is fantastic and starters very friendly. ALL I SAY IS DONT GIVE YOU MONEY TO THE BAR OWNER. Completely uncalled for!

The pro had zero golf knowledge. I asked him which of the 2 courses had a higher slope rating and he had no idea what I was talking about. I then asked him which course was more challenging because I appreciate challenging layouts. He seemed perplexed again and looked at me like I was the stupid one for asking questions about his courses. I gave up and said YOU PICK. The course had some pretty neat holes, but condition wasnt all that great.The golf carts are gas powered and needed warmed up before they could run without having to be choked everytime you hit the gas.. so annoying!The pro is an ass. Spend an extra $5 and go play somewhere else.
