Beautiful place to walk along the Mississippi River. I wish the playground had swings! Bathrooms need some love as well but a nice place to get some fresh air or fish or bike.

Such a beautiful place. Gives excellent view of the centennial bridge. Perfect location for clicking awesome pictures. The view overall is so breathtaking & beautiful that you might keep walking & roaming around the park for good couple hours. I saw few folks even fishing here. The play area for dogs looks interesting. Im surely going to visit this place more often whenever I come to Moline/quad cities!

Went down to enjoy a walk along the river on one of the nice days in early march 2020. We took our puppy with and stopped at the dog park there and wew had a lovely day. Even though the puppy got a little over whelmed with all the dogs that showed up and started caseing each other. The walk was great just a little on the cool side.

Had a fun time at the splash pad with our 2 year old daughter. It was her first time!! I really appreciated the other adults there who asked their kids to not run around so much near my daughter since she is so little (I didnt ask this and really they werent running around her but it felt great that others cared for kids who were there)! It is a great park for a hot day!Oh, one tip had others not been there we wouldnt have known, you have to hit a button on the ground near the tables to make the water come back on if it shuts off.

This is a great place to watch the fireworks displays for the Red, White and Boom! or whenever the Riverbandits at Modern Woodman Park shoot them off after a game. There is also parks for the kids to play on, a spray park for you to get wet on hot days, a dog park for the furry members of the family, a skate park for those with wheels, picnic tables, a gazebo here and there, fishing off the wall has been known to net a few somethings, a bit of a boardwalk that will take you along the scenic Mississippi River to the band shell behind the ballpark...and any number of events pop up behind and between there and the Freight house Farmers market...enjoys yourself!

First time at the park proper even though I grew up in the Quads. My kids had a great time at the play and spray grounds. Great view of the river, and crews had been out to clean and clear after the recent high waters from all the rain we have had. Will be back with the kids again.

A pretty area with lots to offer, but slightly sketchy area. The dog park was nice and the agility areas were fun for the dogs and kids alike. The park is a cool concept with the boat, but there were no swings, and mostly just a jungle gym for older kids. Lots of unsupervised kids there that were rowdy and made us a little nervous with a toddler.

Great place! Took my two girls - 2yr and 4yr - they loved it! Perfect place for their age. Plus its FREE! Good amount of picnic tables with umbrellas and bench seating. Only downside was the restrooms were port-a-potties Which I hate especially with two little ones.

The kids really enjoyed the spray park, but when we were there a few years back, most of the adults at the park were blasted drunk. The cops even came and arrested one guy who punched his girlfriend. Go early in the day before the beer starts flowing. The view from the park is pretty amazing. The Mississippi river is right next to the park and the Centennial Bridge is an amazing thing to see in the background. Would highly recommend as long as you can avoid the late afternoon party scene.

Alright park with nice views of the bridge and the stadium. They also have a dog park, skate park, fountain park, and a public boat launch. However the police seem to be a little bit overzealous, always pulling up to your vehicle and asking what your doing, and I have seen them follow vehicles out of the park and then pull them over for no reason.
