Great view towards Dana Point harbour! Beautiful park!

I like this park not only for the open spaces but also because it can be used a pivot point for the Dana Point Harbor or Strand Beach. Great place to get some exercise on the stair walkway or chill out on the grass. Bring sunscreen and covering, you will get alot of direct sun. The park is busy on the weekends, weddings and events at Doris Walker Lookout so be mindful if you expect to enjoy by yourself. There is small dog park near the bottom of the park.

You will break a small sweat getting to this park but the view when your up there is amazing. Really good spot to fly a kite or have a picnic. At the top it will lead you to some other costal view trail. Very clean park not that crowded.

Nice views with lots of benches if you dont want to walk far to see a spectacular view. There are a few parking spots and the rest is street parking. Enjoy a stroll with your doggie friends!

Gorgeous view of Dana Point. Great grassy slopes terraced areas for gathering or having the kiddos burn of some energy.

Great Park. really good place to roll down hills. there is a cool crow that lives here, and a view of the ocean. sometimes there are weddings here. you can park at the top of the hill and there is a nice sidewalk. overall bring a sense of amazement cuz youre going to need it

My niece was married here. View is pretty but can it really be called a park when there are no restroom facilities for our guests? We were told we could drive up to the gas station - really? Gross ️

Beautific walks ans spectacular views over Dana Point Harbor

It is most visited by us park in general. We first start going over 11 years ago when we were looking for my daughter venue for ceremony. It is our favorite place to spend some time and bring our dog.

Great place for both myself and then sons wedding 30 years later.

Enjoy hilltop peekaboo and panoramic views of Dana Point and San Clemnte while visiting this park! The grounds are beautifully green with many trees providing shade and a meandering walking path with amazing ocean views. This is a great spot to watch the sunrise and sunset, have a picnic, take a walk, or just lay out in the sun. This park is perched on top of a hill/cliffside so its perfect for steep incline workouts. There are no bathrooms, so plan accordingly. There are a few public parking spots avaliable at the top of the park and also residential street parking.

This is one of my favorite parks. Great location to view the harbor and also take your dog for some exercise in the designated play area.

Peaceful great park to relax

Went here to scout out a place for a wedding ceremony. Its got a great view and the area for the ceremony provides enough room for our seating while providing privacy from random people at the park. Rental price is super cheap too.

Great park but some residents/visitors ruin it for others. I suggest more visible signs requiring dogs to be on a leash. Also, I suggest having a phone at all times in case you are harassed by someone.I am a 64-year-old lady who lives near this park, and I take my rescue puppy here whenever I have the chance. My puppy is still sensitive around other dogs, so I am concerned when I see that sometimes people let their dogs run around without a leash.Today I asked a couple with a golden retriever to kindly put their dog on a leash, but then he responded in an extremely rude and angry manner: I dont take orders from anyone and certainly WILL NOT take them from you. Get out of here!He made me so nervous that I had to ask someone passing by to kindly escort me out of the park because the man with the golden retriever was very angry, rude, and aggressive toward me. Why do we have signs all over the place about keeping dogs on a leash when we dont obey them?

People come from all over the world to vacation and take family photos here to create memories! Skies and green grass and the Ocean! You can have a nice walk and and plenty of night life.

There are great vistas of the beach and ocean but the park itself is just another park. It is dog friendly and there are a fair amount of people who jog/walk, excersize. There are stairs to take to the top or even a side mini trail. There are some benches and some areas are shaded by trees. Its lovely but nothing that is incredibly outstanding from most similar neighborhood parks.

Its beautifull, calm place to visit

Good place to go kite flying when the winds pick up, its all.down hill.so.sometimes you just let it go and let it fly! Good views, good place to exercise if you run uphill. Picknick, sometimes they have events going on up here!

This is a beautiful peaceful park. You could pack a picnic here and enjoy the view or keep walking down the hill and head to the harbor with all the shops and restaurants.

A great natural haven overlooking Dana Point Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. There is a paved walking trail that winds through the park area and the option is available to climb stairs or not. Beautiful views! Relatively clean, although there were some places where vandals had clearly left their mark. Limited parking, but had no problem getting close and there were a few handicapped spaces. Most visitors seemed to come from the surrounding neighborhood. Had the pleasure of meetung some of the locals during my exploration who were very friendly and happy to share stories about living in Orange County and their lives. Found this place by accident when I was wondering around looking for a good place to get photos of the ocean. Very peaceful and a nice place to visit to appreciate the view!

You got to love Dana Point!

Great steps for some intense “short burst” exercise with the pay off being some amazing views of the harbor. The standout to me are the amazing trees. Huge and verdant. Beautiful little park and perfect for a Sunday morning jaunt with my wife.
