Fun little Park to walk play soccer or just have the little ones play on their playground. They have a bike path that only connects to the walking path in one area where the path is actually wide enough for bikes and pedestrians so its safe for walking with children around the park

Glencoe park is a nice sized place in a good neighborhood. Strangely enough the steel/rubber picnic tables and benches looked new while the tennis courts and horseshoes court were looking a bit ragged. The park has a fairly large, partially covered kiddie area, a large football field and two baseball fields. As I was leaving I saw a basketball hoop way in the distance. Theres one Porta-Potty near the play area and two more alongside one of the baseball fields. Perhaps the best part about Glencoe is the many tall leafy trees providing much-needed shade. I was there on a hot day in the 90s and sitting in the shade with a breeze blowing was actually quite pleasant On the negative side its located right off the 75 and the roar of traffic is constant.

Nice little park with 2 tennis courts. They can get a bit cluttered with leaves depending on the season, though. Also you have to trek through the grass to get to the courts so watch out for dog poop.

How can you have a park this big and this nice without any bathroom facilities? Little kids play sports here. Do they just pee in the grass when they have to go?

The only reason this park gets 4 stars instead of 5 is there is only 4 swings in the entire park, 1 ADA swing, 1 toddler and 2 regular. They could use a few more!

Great location for team sports and situated in a lovely neighborhood. The turf needs some love and attention though and some additional water fountains wouldn’t hurt. Would be nice to see more parks like this around the city, the local leagues are beginning to feel pinched for practice time and locations.

Nice park to go to unwind and to step away from the metropolitan chaos. Soccer, football, baseball/softball, and other activities can be found here. Theres a small playground and covering with tables for the family or party. Either way it definitely fills in the criteria of a park.

The Quad fields are amazing! Well kept and nice, spacious dugouts. Crews did well preparing them for our softball tournament after days of heavy rain. Wish Fields 6-8 had more of the amenities from Fields 1-4; our scoreboards didnt work on 6-8 all weekend. Gates were also oddly placed on dugouts for 6-8.

With only 2 regular swings and 1 baby swing it would be nice to see some type of shade in the area. The swings get very hot as do the chains on the swings. Whatever happened to the plastic coating that covered the chains? Needs more younger age activities.

Review №69

I love this park mainly because of all the trees they have near the playground. You dont see that too much these days. They do have those new tops you see on playgrounds these days but they seem to have forgot that parents need to sit to watch the kids. The benches are all underneath shade and in this Texas HEAT that a plus. This summer is been empty but no surprise there. You break a sweat just getting out of the car these days. Anyways you usually see families, couples or single people walking the little trail around the park and if your lucky you get to see a game being played nearby. Its not the fanciest park but its still very nice. My girls and I love going here.

This is one of the shadiest parks Ive been too and I mean that in a good way, lol. The actual park is shaded by trees from all directions. You can literally sit on the bench and watch the children play, while you enjoy the breeze. Theres also a lot of squirrels here, my toddler enjoyed playing with them lol. I give 4 stars because there isnt much for older kids, mostly toddlers and maybe K-2nd grade.
