Wow. This is a great park. We went on a Friday afternoon, nobody was there (which I loved). Its a beautiful and quiet place to walk around, and just enjoy nature.

Courteous staff and answered all questions. Easy access to water. A great place to kayak and only $5 per kayak if using your own kayak. We will kayak here again and very soon.

Very beautiful area, campground is small but quiet with awesome views of the lake. Only downside is no immediate swimming area. You have to drive down to Soldiers Beach Trail Head and hike about 1/4 mile to get to a beautiful swimming area. They do rent kayaks and can buy bait to fish.

Although a very small campground, our overall experience was great! We spent 4 days there and took our fishing boat. We caught almost 60 perch , cleaned and froze them! Yum!Office lady was very helpful during our stay and the locals friendly. Great playground if we bring grandkids sometime. Very clean place. Will definitely come back .Only complaint is campsites for RVs not level and we we definitely parked at an incline. Adding a few more sewage hook ups would be more inviting to Rvs too. Great fishing by boat!

Absolutely terrible staff one lady said she will ask us to leave for washing the mud off our feet at the edge of the lake we will never be back

Good place to boat and fish. Clean restrooms. Good fishing. Nice staff and a relaxing place to go and enjoy the day. Will return.

Very nice Park. Always clean. Lake is pretty. Reasonable rates on canoe and kayak rentals.
