Today...Nice park. Adults were masked but people do not pick up their dog droppings. Gross!3yrs ago...This was my first time here. My kids have been before with their dad. We love how spacious and well-maintained the park is. We are excited to go back this Summer to check out the splash pad. The only thing missing are swings. Other than that it is a great place to let your kids run, climb, slide, spin, dance and have some good old-fashioned fun!

Great park. So many things for a kid to do. There are three different play apparatuses for kids of each age group. So nice when you have a toddler who would climb anything, anywhere, anytime to have a safer play area suited to her abilities. Plus, plenty of grass and a covered picnic area.

We had a wonderful time at this park this summer. They had restrooms to accommodate bathroom needs and we enjoyed the charcoal grills they provide for anyone to use. It was pretty busy all day and their isnt much shade, so I would suggest bringing something to shade your family and definitely bring sunscreen. They have lots of playgrounds and we really enjoyed the huge splash pad they offer at no charge. Its a beautiful area and very family friendly. I will come back timeand time again for sure.

It is called Mountainview Park for a reason! I love that there is access to a canal road which is perfect for running even in the middle of winter. Playground is nice and the landscaping on the south east side is awesome. What a fun place to do a run, pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups. Got to get those nickels and dimes in.

This is a nice park and the name did well as it has a great view of the mountains. Some of the equipment at the park is broken and damaged which they should do some maintenance on otherwise it’s a fun place for kids. I guess in the summer months they have a splash pad we will have to go back and see once it warms up.

I didnt exactly hate this place but I thought it was a bit on the lame side. I went here with my nephews who are 5 and 7 years old and we were expecting a splash pad...we got a big fat zero. Later we found out it was because of the pandemic.... sheesh would it kill you guys to post some signs, you do it at the other parks with splash pads.

Theres a little water park when the weather is warm enough. So bring a swimsuit in the summer. There are a number of playgrounds that will challenge everyone from a toddler up. Theres a large grassy field for games. So bring a ball or 6. There enlarge covered picnic area , so bring something to eat. There are trash cans all around comma so you can clean up after yourselves.

Pretty decent park. Its big with newer structures and includes a play area for wee ones. The splash pad is blah, but doable. Its convenient if youre needing to give the kids a break in the midst of errand running (there are lots of shops nearby as well as places to lunch). Its a perfect park to bring bikes to or get a workout in while the kids play since there is plenty of sidewalk looping around the park alongside large fields. One downside though is that it either doesnt seem to attract responsible guests or get much attention from cleaning crew because I feel it has a bit of a litter problem -something I notice every time I go.

This park is awesome! It had a little play ground for little ones on one side, big play ground on the other side, water park area, basketball hoops, soccer field, plenty of parking, dogs are welcome, a trail for walking your dogs yourself or running or jogging around the huge field that they have there, plenty of benches to sit and taking in the scenery around you. They also have tables and benches, plenty of them for parties and get-togethers... What can I say, its a park for all kinds of people and play and some fun times... Whatever you consider fun, this park has it!

Wonderful, well kept location. Very nice walking environment! I went to take my dogs, and it was very nice - however, be aware, this is not an enclosed area, and the perimeter fencing has holes! There are a number of entrances for the pup to escape. So make sure if u go off leash your pups can respond as a major avenue is close and other dogs are on leash. If you are on leash, realize there are off leash dogs as well who may come up to u. Dont you just hate it when someone goes to a park where tuere are off leash dogs and gets upset they come over to their on leash dog? Expect it people! Lol

Wonderful park with a great splash pad. On hot summer days you know where you need to go to cool off. The only real gripes about this park are that it can get crowded, but that is because it is so great that many people go there. I guess the other is that pretty much only residents of the city proper (Cottonwood Heights) can reserve the pavilion, though I have never seen that be a problem.

There are not a lot of trees so bring an umbrella or tent to keep put of the sun. There is a shelter with picnic tables and a public restroom. Soccer fields and tennis courts also available.
