Nice park in a nice neighborhood, but the equipment could use a remodel. The playground structures and horseshoe field is a bit old and it shows. There is a nice area to walk around and a small creek with a bridge that leads to a dirt walking path.

Nice, large, park tucked away in what is arguably an upper class neighborhood. (Houses over here are extremely nice)With that said there is a decent sized tradition park area and then a large trail area where people walk, take their dog, and bike it seems. Happy to have found such a nice park, and with friendly people to boot.

Saw a fox! BUT you must know that people walk their dogs without leashes here. Why?? Entitlement. Signs everywhere saying all dogs must be on a leash. So be ready. Otherwise, its a nice spot to walk, swim, play and watch irresponsible pet owners walk around talking on cell phones. 3 stars bcz of this and way dirty and stinky bathrooms.

This park is a hidden gem. There is a outdoor pool, great park and play ground. The cottonwood Creek runs by the north side of the park so the kids can wade when the water flow has slowed after spring runoff finishes. There are several large open spaces with a 1 miles dirt track through the trees. I see wild fox, rabbits here late in the evening and early morning.

I love this park. It has big trees, a large grassy area, lots of picnic tables, and a great walking path. The playground is small and older, but my kids love the large tires that are there. They jump from one to the other and play underneath.

The Crestwood Trail is family friendly with a mellow creek. Its a gravel trail loop about one mile total. There is a playground, a swimming pool, a clearing area with tables, and restrooms. The shade is spotty and doesnt cover the full playground, so be careful with your kids.

Super easy trail to take toddlers for a walk along the river. Not a lot of shady spots mid-day though. Pretty escape from the hustle of the city. Tucked away in a pretty area.

Crestwood is great! I run here a lot and the big loop is conveniently close to a mile so it’s great for counting mileage. The Pool is fun in the summer and there’s a fairly good playground here as well. Otherwise it’s just a good place for a peaceful walk by the river and in the trees.

I wouldnt call it a hidden gem but since its sort of hidden in the residential neighborhood its not as busy as other mainstream places. Cheap to get in, couple of vending machines but outside food and drinks are allowed and just enough seating area. Gets crazy busy on the weekends so weekday is the time to visit.

The walking trail is great. It feels like your in the mountains, but you arent. Youre within the roaring metropolis of Cottonwood heights. A fun walking or running path next to a creek and horse pastures. A great place to go if you live in the area (or even if you dont).

Great park for walking your dogs. Its technically a leash park but everyone I see there who walkes there dogs are off leash. Wish it would be officially an off leash park since my dogs log it so much. There are plenty of spots for the dogs to access the creek and cool off in the summer, park of the trail goes through a woody area and the rest of the track is out in the open. Also a great place to go trail running.

Cute park but nobody had leashes on their dogs. Has a nice playground for the kids and saw them cleaning out a pool. They also had random bags full of dog poop laying on the side of the trail. Like people cleaned up their dogs mess but left the bag there. Need someone to patrol and enforce the dog rules.

Incredible park! Has a swimming pool and everything (not free). The only fault is that it needs to put up signs saying that people are required to keep their dogs on leashes. That is the law and I rely on this law because my youngest goes into anaphylaxis when he is around dogs. When we last went there I had to pick my son up and walk away from the dog that was bounding everywhere. That being said they really need to make more dog parks for dogs. Dogs need room to run all over the place and be their goofy selves.

For sentimental reasons, I want to give this park 5 stars (I have visiting this park for almost 30 years), and it is a beautiful gem right in the heart of the Valley with a long jogger/equestrian track and breath-taking mountain and creek views. However, the landscaping (particularly pruning the trees) is severely lacking and some of the facilities are very old, broken, or inadequate. It is a safe place. It has a playground for children. Lots of people walk their dogs on the track in the morning (I wish more of them picked up after their dogs!).
