Its a nice park but no restrooms and the drinking fountain is turned off. Im guessing due to the construction they are doing on the freeway has a small parking lot and its on the River Trail good place for a break if youre riding your bike

This little Park is nice and peaceful. The grass is green and beautiful. Theres a few picnic tables, plenty of shade, and two small playgrounds. The best feature is the moon! Once you see it youll know what I mean. The park is adjacent to the river trail so it can be a nice starting or ending point for runners or bikers the neighborhood seems nice and quiet.

Very cool little park next to the Santa Ana River. At the moment the park is closed cause of the covid. Oh yeah, i would avoid till next year. Freeway being worked on and i noticed a small breeze with dust flying around. But that moon. I love it.

Got seven grand kids and as preschoolers I tell them a story. First, ask them if last night they saw the full moon? And like the story of Papa can you get me the moon? The story goes, Monica asking her Papa to get her the moon. So I tell them I got the moon and put it in the park.

Every time we passed by this little park on the way to the Newport Beach on the road bike, we couldnt resist to take a short break, cooling off under these big trees, laying on the green grass carpet, taking a zip of our herbal energy drink and enjoying the ocean breeze... Before heading to the ocean.

Perfect rest stop if youre on the Santa Ana River trail. There are big trees that offer a lot of shade and some benches and tables if you need them.Exercise proper signaling when youre pulling off or getting back onto the trail! There is a tunnel leading away from the beach and it can be hard to see riders!

I couldnt replinish the water for my dogs as notice the water fountain was not working. Looks like been down for a while with water stains and spider webs. Make sure you carry a load plenty of water if walking with fur babies...

A little quaint neighbourhood park with two different playgrounds (theyre both pretty small though) and a tire swing. A lovely grassy area with big trees to provide a lot of shade. Good for exercising, reading, letting the dog play, eating a bite etc, etc. Right next to the bike trail also. And the Apollo 14 tribute is so cool! But there is no bathrooms and the freeway is close by making it kind of noisy :(

This is our local park. NO restrooms but there are picnic areas and it is a great place to get onto the Santa Ana River Trail and head to the ocean. It has two playgrounds for toddlers and for littles. We often head over to just get outside and get under a shade tree in the summer. The moon is fun for the kiddos to trek across.

Its okay only because it needs a little bit of love and care some of the people who live in the neighborhood need to be more friendly to those who are just enjoying their time at the little park.

Its right next to the SanTana river trail. Its the perfect spot to take a break from all that bike riding or the best spot to start your adventure. Head south and youll end up at the beach. Head north and youll slice right thru Orange County. Also, the moon is pretty cool. Its got holes and stuff.

Nice neighborhood park off of the Santa Ana river trail. There is a large concrete moon that is within this park that is pretty neat. Moon craters and all. A 5-12 kids play area is also available. Park is a little I the smaller side, but a nice rest stop with water fountain available.

Nice, clean small park with a large concrete moon, thus th name. Theres two playgrounds for younger and older kids. Has a medium sized grassy area for kids and dogs to run on. It has only one picnic table which is also uncovered. Parking area is small, about enoigh six cars. The park is connected to a very long walk/bike trail.

Kinda sketchy with the bike trail and bridge at the 405 freeway. Seems that people (bums or homeless looking) hang out under the bridge to do drugs. I live near here and choose a different place to bring my young kids. Not a safe park to bring young children.

I live just around the corner from the moon park, my kids grew up at the Moorpark, riding their skateboards down the sides before the fence went up, the playground equipment has changed, there has always been a big kid and small kid side, but the thing my kids loved most was the rocketship, which is no longer there, they loved climbing all the way inside to the top, many times I went up with them, such good times, and there was a merry-go-round, those things are all gone now, its very generic although still fun for kids who didnt kno it from before, for this reason and the fact there is no bathroom, I give it only 4 ☆☆☆☆ wake up city planners all parks for kids need a bathroom! Kids cant hole it till they get home!
