Its a great Park great location is a lot of homelessness but theres also a lot of cops not enough picnic tables

Park is currently undergoing renovation and most facilities are closed.

There is a green construction fence around the plane and playground. No admittance to that side of the park.

Its filled w/ a lot of homeless people, but they just put in a new library ( I havent been in, but it really nice from the outside. )

Kids loved it. Grandkids too! Waiting patiently for reopening.

Lions park is full of sharks but nice i will not visit it with only my wife now!

Lions park is closed now. Theyre building a new library. I believe that it will be finished with in a year. Theyve the finished picture model of it on the fence in south and the east side. It looks fantastic,

Theres no play structure for children. No paths. Just a baseball field that is locked up most of the time. The bathrooms are locked up as well. Saw a couple homeless people hanging around. On the positive side the parking is easy and there are plenty of parking spots. The parking spots are angled so it is easy for large vehicles with poor turn radius to get into these spots.

Used to be a clean decent park...but last several years now the bums & drug addicts have taken over...not a place Id take my grand kids!

There is a new public library under construction. Playground and restrooms closed at the moment. Walked my dog around the perimeter. Close to a shopping center.

Its actually a great park

This park is meh. We played kickball here for the season and they dont even have the bathrooms open at night! Its like they want everyone to do their thing illegally. They also turned off the lights early during our game. Kinda lame.The fields are good though. Plenty of space and the grass is in good condition. They could do better. Come on Costa Mesa!

Nice Park around Nike Town there is a lot of shops to walk around a lot of good dine in restaurants to eat from. Well recommended Park to do a Picnic or just to relax .

We learned to play Torque

Beach bum or bum and local park. Not trashed. cool huge blue navy plane for keeping kids to play on. plenty of parking.

Homeless day, police patrol night. Enough said. Not safe. As I was told by the park ranger, this a great place to buy drugs.

Dave totally change the place and removed the plane from what I understand Costa Mesa is not friendly to people that want to relax and enjoy a public park unless you have a good deal of money

Theres a lot of homeless people at this park. I heard that there has been hypodermic needles found in the sand. I dont take my kids here and I suggest you go somewhere else with your kids too.
