Its a big and great park. It just needs more maintenance. The water has a bad smell.

This is a good place to go walking during the day. The path is breaking loose so be careful walking at night.This is really good for bird watching.

This is a great little park. It has small walking trails. A ton of birds and a board walk. Its a great spot to take pictures. Theres a nice bridge on one side and a playground on the far other side.Most would probably spend an hour here, if you stopped to read a few signs.

This place is so nice and a great place for a photo shoot. There is a lot of trash around but other than that its beautiful.

Very poorly maintained. Could be beautiful, but wood bridges and picnic areas are rotted. Paved trails are deteriorating and have potholes where gravel is missing. Not many trash cans, and those that are here are very small. Lots of litter scattered around. Does not look to have anyone caring for this park.

Nice place to sit peacefully in the lap of mother nature

It was nice, great for a run. Me and my wife used to go there when we were about 17 and 18 and now that we came back we are hitting the trails again. Memories.ps. now with our daughter ....

Beautiful place! My only issue comes more from irresponsible people leaving trash around.

Lots of different wildlife to see, nice trails perfect for hiking. Again, bring mosquito spray.

I like the park just because it is nature. But, it is not what I expected. There are no bathrooms in the park. So, if you want to do a walking exercise make sure to go to the bathroom before, or do not drink water. Because otherwise you will have a bad time holding your pee. They need to put some bathrooms and clean the park. By the way I didnt saw any butterfly or birds.

The most Beautiful park with natural wild life and Indian park in one, a family affair with learning experiences for the whole family.. I recommend it

Good small town marsh park. Even with the corania virus scare people remain friendly and not scared of people movements.

Loved the relaxing walk to the viewing deck. Great cactus to photograph, interesting foliage. I enjoyed all the signs describing the different flora and fauna as well as birds and butterflies in the area. My only complaint is don’t go on the weekends. There were so many photo shoots at the little bridge, it made it a little tricky to geocache.

Truck got broken into, the doors were locked keys were in it luckily it was out of gas, but not a safe area but beautiful views.

Welcomed by 3 white butterflies and was greeted by a small lizard upon exiting! Lots of milkweed for butterflies, inclusive of Wild Mexican Olives!!

Very nice walk. Good sites but the smell of the water sewage plant is very bad.

Take time to clean as you enjoy the Wildlife Refuge!

Beautiful i was so excited to visit where the ancestors of the Karankawa roamed. Cant wait to return in the fall so i can hike a lot longer.

Its a wildlife refuge inside city limits, be sure to take bug spray. Depending on the season, there may be mosquitoes.

Awesome birding location.

A nice little park with a boardwalk heading towards the small beach. Enjoyed the sunset here. There isnt much to view around here but I could see this place as a nice place to meet someone or have a small date at.

At first walking 6ft in everythang was fine but then my me n my sons got attacked by mosquitoes but i give it 3 stars because I didnt get to go any further in to even give a fair comment

Great view of mud flats. Over 30 species of birds in 2 hours. Adequate parking. Nice boardwalk.

Nature walk, with plenty of bird watching opportunities. My family has been a few times & its always a nice little hike. Plus 2 playground areas for the kids.

Older park but nice quiet place

Great place to take a quiet walk or take the family to learn about mother nature, plenty of different kinds of insects and wildlife that you can observe and learn about.

Nice until we ran across some feces and paper towels that were used for cleanup. Pretty fn gross.

We stop here each time we come to Corpus Christi. Its a nice, quiet little park with a picnic table shaded by gorgeously full mesquite trees. Theres also a decent looking playground area. I believe there are some walkway like trails but I havent explored past the table.

Nice trails. Boardwalk to OSO Bay to view birds is nice but is now overgrown and view is obstructed. I wouldnt feel comfortable walking the trails alone, seems like the homeless have a few camps set up in the brush.

A decent place to hike am easy trail and see a few birds. It is kind of run down but still kind of nice.

Beautiful place to go for walks and to connect with nature

My fiance and I went there to take our engagement photos. It was absolutely beautiful weather and even though it was busy with people during the golden hour, the spots we found to take our pictures were stunning and so cute! The pictures she took were beautiful and they werent even edited or touched up. Loved it!

Nice, mostly shaded walking trails, also a boardwalk that extends out over the flats along Oso bay. I wish photographers would not use confetti and glittery bits in their photo-shoots and leave them behind though. Pack it in - Pack it out, and leave it cleaner than you found it are good rules to follow at a nature preserve!

My favorite of ther birding spots we hit in the area... lots of black skimmers, all sorts of herons and egrets, teals, ducks and coots galore!

Haa two sides to it connected by a hiking trail through some woods! Great for bird watching! A very nice playground on the South end of park! And a scenic walking pier on the other side and picnic tables with benches n overhead covers!And next to the water behind Texas A and M Corpus Christi University!

Great time looking at birds and plants with the family

Lovely little nature park. My family enjoyed walking the trails quite a bit. We enjoyed bird watching and even saw a bunny or two. The end of the pier has so much litter, I wish they’d have a cleanup crew go out there. Photographers love the area for portrait sessions so you’ll see them out there quite a bit!

Very nice little place, great for a short peaceful walk or some wildlife photos. Walking pathway is nicely sheltered behind trees and bushes so you cant see much of the road on the other side, and leads farther away from it as you walk towards the boardwalk/beach area. Great spot for bird watching, or photography.

Beautiful place, enjoyed taking our nephew. Wish people picked up after themselves! Confetti and glitter all over near the bridge. Down side, no bathroom or wheel chair accessible entrance. People litter... Bright and shiny things fish and birds like to ingest that could kill them!.So irritated with people! Thanks to the park people who try and keep it clean. Thanks to you all!

Great place for mutual encounter and birds

This place is great during the day but the closer you get to evening hours the weirder the people out here get. I would highly recommend not bringing children here as the sun starts going down.

Peaceful and relaxing.

I do like this place to go for walks or even take my kid to play in the park area. Also I decent place to go wade fishing. Only wish the City would repair the deep rutts in the parking lot. If you dont have a truck you can easily lose a muffler or bottom out in the potholes in the south end of this park

This is where I first told my girlfriend that I loved her. It had become our spot ever since and its always a good time going back here every once in awhile.

Perfect for those special photo shoots.

I came across the find one day by accident and loved it. I am glad to find put who to THINK!

The locals call it a gay park because some gay people come meet up here. Although, I have a friend who is intact not gay and comes to this park occasionally. I have heard decent things about this park. (It is also a cop hot spot hang out so DO NOT SPEED around this area!!!)

A beautiful place to walk and look at the birds..

My son loves this park. We walk on the trail and its great exercise for the whole family.

A free magical excursion surrounded by variety of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and playful rabbits in the field along the boardwalk. The observatory view overlooking Oso Bay is amazing in early morning. The hike on the nature trail is a good workout. The city and volunteers help clean up, but we each need to do our part also to keep this gem clean & safe.

Nice park with a boardwalk, great for viewing dozens of species of birds! Quiet and sparsley attended most of the time. Just be cautious because the entrance driveway has some big potholes.

Small, walkable park with boardwalk to Oso bay observation deck. Trail connects to another bayside park. Pleasant hour or two.

Two playgrounds and an awesome, lengthy series of trails that stretch around the bay. Unfortunately close to the road at times and the shoreline is receding over the years, but still a nice place to come.

I love it

While Christmas Day this year was a little disappointing, you can generally see a great variety of birds here. This is one of my go to places to photograph water birds.
