Great location on Lake Norman and my favorite place to run! It’s beautiful year round with lots of native trees and wildlife. Amazing views of the lake and a nice beach area too. Perfect place for biking, picnics, walking, or running on the loop (a little over a mile), and there’s public tennis courts as well. There’s always lots of friendly people and dogs here. Be on the lookout for copperheads in the summer though, they can blend in on the sides of the trail!

This is one of our favorite places. The playground is so fun! There is so much hiking space. If youre into collecting pinecones, this is an awesome spot. Perfect for a nature walk. And our kids love playing on the sand beach!

Absolutely beautiful! If your visiting Lake Norman this park is a must, it has Great Lake views and picnic accommodations. We went around 2pm and it was fairly busy especially closer to the point but closer to the entrance there were still available picnic areas.

Jetton Park is welcoming to all, newborn to seniors. There are many places to sit along the walkways. Easy accessibility for those who need it. They have chairs, benches, tables, and swings. Much of the walkways overlook the water in some way or other. You can see beautiful homes from the shoreline, people on their boats etc. Today, the park had many, many visitors walking around - it was great seeing so many people out today!!Stunning photographs are ready to be taken, particularly at sunrise and sunset. There are bathrooms in a few places within the park, with accessibility to those who need it.You can rent a building for large gatherings. One strange thing Ive never seen before - ever - is in two of the bathrooms on the park site (different areas from each other) had each stall that was not fully closed in. Basically the backs of the stall walls are open to the other stalls. It felt very creepy to me. Why would you not fully close in the stall walls???

We got takeout nearby and were looking for a place to eat outside that wasnt too crowded. We stopped by here and it was the perfect place. We found picnic tables close to the entrance. They were in the woods so it was shaded. They were also all separated and on their own, away from the trails, so there was no risk of being near other people. We didnt have a chance to explore the park any more than the picnic area, but it seems like it would be a nice place. Its right on the water too.If youre looking for a good place to social distance, this park is worth checking out.

I visited with my girlfriend for my birthday where we picnicked and had a great time. Despite the fact the park was very busy there was a nice, nearly intimate place a few paths converge where we sat down and enjoyed a terrific lunch. We walked around the park and the views were pleasant. Even with a packed park it somehow didnt feel over crowded. A great place for a lunch, walk, frisbee golf, you name it.

I dont live in the area but this park makes me want to. Totally heaven for a nature geek like me who wants to know what every plant and bug is called. Huge and shady with wide walking paths. Really cool little picnic decks you can reserve that overlook the lake, and a few spots of beach where you can see the lake, though no swimming from them. Id head back there in a heartbeat.

Good park. Always clean, good amount of hiking trails, lots of shade, and ample parking. Two public bathrooms--always immaculately clean.Playground is big and shaded. A great spot for the kids. Ample amount of tennis courts as well. The biggest downside is the water. There is a beautiful sand beach but swimming is restricted. It makes absolutely zero sense. Why install a large sand beach that doesnt allow you to swim? I dont know why the county restricts swimming but its a perfect location for a much needed beach. Hence the 3 star review.

Love this park for its trails and for the lake access. I loved being able to lay out on the sand and dip my toes in the water. It’s nice to get the woodsy feeling along with the sand and lake feeling both in the same park. The minerals in the sand create a very good/glitter looking affect in the water. Really beautiful!

A great place to relax on a Sunday afternoon. Small beach area was 1st come, 1st serve in order to maintain social distancing. Restrictions are in place for the beach: NO ONE ALLOWED IN THE WATER. Also, the childrens playground is still closed. There are several picnic table options available to enjoy lunch or an early dinner by the lake.

Jetton Park is an awesome place to take a walk or ride your bike. They have a large playground, nice porch style swings by the lake, and a new Waterfront Hall for events. Even though there is no swimming allowed, there is a beautiful beach area where you can stick your feet in and enjoy the lake views. We highly recommend taking a trip to Jetton Park for a picnic and some fun.

Very relaxing and peaceful place. There were some interesting things here such as 2 memorials that I saw. Its a great place to have a cookout, bicycling, jogging/walking and tennis. This is also pet friendly so I will definitely be taking my dogs here as well. I got to take some great videos and pictures. I would recommend staying out of the water however, no fishing in the water (MAYBE) and I would also recommend not allowing your dog to drink the water as I saw some things that didnt set well with me. Aka dead fish by the bank. Other thank that it was a very clean, tidy and breathtaking place.

Lovely waterfront park. The paved walking trails were great for my dad. We normally go to Lake Norman state park but he wouldnt have been able to walk on those trails at they are more natural.
