Im thinking that the posts from people here have to either be on the friends and family plan of this establishment or are completely devoid of all knowledge of wine making, quality of a fine wine, or have become acceptable to the common stock of 7-Eleven, Plain Pantry, or Wal-Mart.When the server spills wine in front of customers and does not even bother to clean it up, simply walking away for a more interesting experience elsewhere. I was shocked to watch this display of apathy and complete disregard for customers - especially when I would think these people would be bending over backwards for any customer willing to shell out hard earned money for their concoctions. And for the love of God, update your bathrooms.

I do have to admit that A Blooming Hill surprised me with how amazing their wine is. I read nothing beforehand on the place but saw that they had a $9 tasting fee which had six wines to taste. All of their tasting notes were right on the money with what you experienced. I know you always here the gab about how a wine has hints of currants, with a dry finish and smoked tobacco but how they described their Riesling having a tropical flare with a peppery finish was exactly how I tasted it.There are two cute dogs on the property, Trouble and Gemini. The owners even named their wine after them and the bottles have their faces. Finally, you cant find a better deal for their wine membership. $40 for three bottles, four times a year is an amazing price for the quality and quantity of wine you receive.I was so blown away by all of this that I even considered joining the first visit. Since then, two of my friends that Ive brought have signed up for their membership.I have had nothing but great experiences going to their vineyard. It appears that in the spring and summer months they have musical entertainment every weekend.

As I was flying back to Oregon from my home town of Memphis, TN, my mom and I met a lovely mom/daughter about our age. We bonded instantly and they shared with us they had never been to Oregon. They asked me what they suggested they do. I told them since Oregon was wine country, they should do some wine tasting and that I would be happy to take them for some complimentary tastings. The next day they contacted me to make sure I meant what I said and of course I did! I made a call to Holly as it was a Thursday and totally out of their normal hours and she was pleased to accommodate! We all had an amazing time from driving up the bloom field entrance to sitting under the shade of the covered tables, enjoying the views, sipping and tasting their amazing wines, sharing stories and making friendships! Come to find out, it was even Hollys b-day, so we ended with hugs and Happy Birthday Songs and we all went on our merry ways! That is exactly the type of experience I get each and every time I visit either by myself or with guests! Thank you Holly for being the Hostess with the Mostest always! Muah!

I wish I could give Holly and Jim ten stars instead of just the five offered. While entertaining a guest (my wifes best friend since seventh grade), we had the very good fortune to visit Blooming Hill Vineyard in Cornelius, Oregon. The proprietors (Holly and Jim) were two of the most charming, and delightful people it has been our pleasure to meet since moving to Oregon six years ago.We have visited many wineries in both Oregon and Washing since our relocation.Never before was I tempted to join the wine club at any of them (including the ones we ranked among the best) simply because where we may have liked some or even most of what we tasted in the flights we purchased, there was always that one, two, or three than did not sit well on our palates.Unlike those others, every single wine we tasted was more than we could have expected. As the discussion of joining the club at Blooming Hill arose, I had my pen in my hand and told my wife, there is no doubt in my mind that we need to join this club.We did, and look forward to driving out four times a year to pick up that quarters selection. The winery is located on a beautiful hillside, the ambiance of the tasting room is intimate, and we even loved the labels on the bottles (done by a local artist).I highly recommend a visit to this delightful winery. Meet Holly and Jim. Taste and purchase some incredible wines. You wont be disappointed.

I love these places that are out in the hills with plenty of places to drink and that feel of home. There isnt anything fancy about this vineyard and thats what makes it feel comfortable. The owners enjoy having conversations and taking care of the patrons. I think tasting flights here were well priced too, it has been a while.

Smells like cats, outdated decor, battle scene soundtrack. Gorgeous view, wine was acceptable, not fantastic given the Oregon standard. Left after 4 of our 6 pours because of the atmosphere.

Great wine. Great time.I love the wine here and always enjoy my time on the patio or in the tasting room. Its a Wonderful place to while away an afternoon thanks to a lovely atmosphere and such warm welcoming hosts... Not to mention the view.As for the wine, you can tell how much love and knowledge goes into each bottle. Their pinot noirs are always on point and interesting. Plus, they have a delicious rose and a sublime pinot port! Get thee to A Blooming Hill Vineyard!
