Definitely not crowded but cleanliness was a factor, u would think 10 min before a movie start time the theater would be cleaned and sanitized....it took me having to go find someone to pick up the trash in the seats and to sweep up the floors...not to mention the entire time the actual movie was playing the struggling AC made such a loud horrible noise they literally had the volume up so high so we could actually hear it (theater 11)...These high school kid employees may need lessons in what to actually do in between movies because The Grand is def not what it used to be and hopefully management can step up to bring it back to its prime!! We used to love this place...

So hard to give a waiting here. I feel like the seating and actually theater portion is a 10/10. The arcade games are pretty messed up. I came 2/19 with my boys and there was one guy behind the counter who was talking to friends or family. These guys were messing around the bar and guy really did a good job letting us know we were bugging or interrupting him. Service Id give a 1/10 food id give 6/10. Actual theater again 10/10. Need some staff and some quality control and you got a great theatre

The chairs were very comfy and the sound was great, however we chose our seats well ahead of time and when we arrived, my chair had left over trash from a previous guest. I know they are probably short staffed but cleanliness during a time like this is key. Other than that, we liked the theater in general. Restrooms were clean and the bar had a variety of yummy fruity drinks.

Nice, kids love it. Comfortable. Adult beverages are ok but expensive, like popcorn.

Love bucket recliner seats. Sound was not too loud (as they tend to be in movie theaters...as if everyone is half def. Not sure why tickets were odd price. Message prompter say $8.25 taxes included in price. Yet we were charged $ 8.93 (matinee). Snacks pricey..but thats typical these days.

They upgraded those seats and now it’s mighty comfortable. The staff behind the counter is fast and helpful. Popcorn is meh. But I won’t knock off a star for that! :)

Loved the recliners which quickly put me out like a light. Stairs in the theater are a little high. Other than that, pretty good time. Great picture quality.

I have been here twice now, and have enjoyed the theater greatly. The seats are large, comfortable, and reclining. The lines of chairs are laid out in such a way that people behind you cant kick your chair. The building feels spacious, clean and open.

Enjoyed this place. Good customer service. Theater sitting was very comfortable. The Hot Dogs are really delicious. If in the area we would go back to this place.

They have amazing recliners. Better hope you dont get bored because you will go to sleep. While we didnt imbibe I noticed that they are serving mixed drinks. We saw Midway, excellent movie.

This movie theater is currently closed due to covid 19.I was here with a group of friends that play / hunt for pokemon.

The Grand theater in Conroe, is the best place to go see a movie in Conroe Texas. The recliners are incredibly comfortable, I am 6ft 3 and I have no complaints. Bought my tickets on Fandango, and the check in was so easy just put my phone under a little scanner, and we were in. The concessions are well-stocked and the concessionaires were courteous and efficient. Go see a movie there and tell me Im wrong.

A good atmosphere but expensive. Love the new seats, but they are paying for them with the concessions prices. But I at least love the free refills on the large popcorn and drink.

Movie was great and seats comfortable but attendant working ticket booth got upset and literally snatched my credit card when she had to put her phone down and get up off her stool to get us our tickets purchased online. We originally went to the ticket booth when we arrived about picking up our tickets. She ( the attendant) told us we had to go inside for our tickets. Once inside we were told to go back to the ticket booth. She ignored us at first until another employee knocked on the glass. Thats when the attitude started. We will stick to Star Cinema and Grill.

Great place to watch a movie! Loved the reclining seats. I didnt like that I had to reserve seats. I could have done without reserved, reclining seats and expensive snacks. $50 tickets and $50 for snacks for a family of 5. Overall it was a great experience.

Ive been here twice, great place to catch a matinee, never too packed. But this time I had to leave my seat and let the employees know they left the dang lights on...you had one job smh lol.Other than that, excellent place, clean, good quality experience.

Extremely clean and well kept. The theater seating is amazing. Plenty of parking and space between you and anyone sitting next to you. The theaters see not huge so pretty much all the seating is a good seat. I will be back again in the near future.

Expensive snacks, like any other higher end movie theater. Tickets are reasonably priced. We love the new remodel and the reclining seats are very comfortable.

Had a great time watching the Adams Family. The popcorn was a major disappointment it was stale a n d unbuttereded. You gave to put the butter on your self. I want the butter put on at half full and then on top. I just wont buy any more from the Grand. The seats are wonderful.

Weird location but otherwise a good venue. The reclining seats were nice except theatre 1 on the top row seat 16 mustve been malfunctioning as there was a bar in the seat portion that got really hot and was unbearable to sit in so we had to move a seat over.

The place could use some cleaning up a little better. From the Woodlands, 1488 and Conroe theres some competition out there and this place doesnt set the bar on snacks so cleanliness could go a long way. We decided to give it a try today and the seats are already dirty, sticky and just not real clean. Also, they have lowered the air so it gets warms and then starts to cool and back to warm. Its a theater, blast the air keep it cool in there no one wants to sweat and watch a $10 movie.

Love the throwback movies on wed and sun! The Sandlot was so great to see on the big screen, huge part of my childhood. Great idea doing the throw backs. Cant wait to see dirty dancing.

Paid for 2 seats, went to our theater and the whole row was trashed from top to bottom. Movie was about to start and there were nachos and popcorn in every seat, large drinks in every holder. Couldnt walk on the floor because the entire row had spilled drink and popcorn. Even the row above it was about the same. Went to ask if it could be cleaned, they sent someone in with a broom, not realizing hed need a large trash can. Movie has started at this point and its going to need atleast 10 more minutes of cleaning my two seats alone and Im not exaggerating when I say there was no where else to sit because it was absolutely filthy and thrashed. We went back to the window to ask for a refund, we were very nice and not harsh at all, the manager was there and this is our second encounter throughout the whole ordeal with him although hes yet to acknowledge us, speak to us, or offer compensation or apologies. Hes speaking through people right in front of us. He went as far as to ask a worker to ask us for our tickets to confirm we legitimately were supposed to be there. We had already had our tickets checked. The managers behavior and lack of professionalism is the reason for this review. In the beginning he couldnt find anybody to clean the theater and to me that said a lot about his character and lack of passion for business success. If I were the manager, Id speak with the complainer, make sure they were ok, then if I couldnt find someone to give them a clean seat, Id go clean it myself! Managers are not above it! They just drove guests out tonight by their negligence, lack of consideration, poor management and customer service. The boys at the concessions were very helpful and sweet. But this place is seriously declining. Its always filthy especially in the bathroom. I cant use the bathrooms here and this is the first time I havent even been able to sit at my seat.The worst Ive seen it. My standards are not really that high. I just want a clean seat to sit in. Thats all.

Welcoming friendly staff reasonable prices wait @ drink n food counter was a bit long also servers were more into satisfying each other than customers in line who been waiting patiently even thou movie came to see just about ready to start....Suggest more training how to best serve customers in timely manner n save their chatter time for later after serving customersDisappointed.....use to be better service....

A elegant theater great for the whole family. Enjoyed spending my time there. It even has an arcade for all to play. Will definitely return for our next outing to the movies.

Movie and seats are great! However my wife & I nearly froze to death. The temperature was 63 / 64 degrees through the entire movie. According to my Room temperature app on my phone.

The Grand Conroe is a good theatre. The ticket prices are acceptable. The most stand out feature of this place is the reclining chairs, they are pretty comfy and enhance the movie significantly.The place had a bit of a smell and the food prices are quite high. I would like to see them lower but you do what you do. $20 for two drinks and popcorn is a bit excessive for me. Still bought tho

Theyre tried to step up their game, as Star Cinema and a new AMC are in the area and offer recliner seating. The day we were here it was not cool in the theater. The seats were not comfortable for me. Im 61 and the recliner was WAY too short, so I didnt even use it. Ill pay a few dollars more and sit in more comfortable seating at Star Cinema.

I use to go to the other movie theater in town, but am loyal to this place. There rewards are awesome and add up so quickly i always get stuff discounted. Now that they have reclined seats, its amazing. (dont fall asleep, there that comfy) And the added bar area gives us more of a reason to hang out and relax, not just fun for the kids anymore.

We enjoy watching movies at the Grand, kid friendly and they make effort to keep the place clean. I will never agree with the prices of refreshments, but that is all theaters.Overcomer was our movie today, I highly recommend it to all.

I love going to this theater especially now that they have assigned reclining seating. Also they now have a cocktail bar as well. Come visit you will not be disappointed

Chsirs were hard bar going across rear. But Jumanji movie was good.

In the process of remodeling. Nice power recliners. The move lost its picture and they fix it quickly. Plus they gave us 4 free tickets for the issue. Thumbs up.

The new seats are really nice to sit back and relax in, however their always seem to be people who snuck in and thus mess up the seating arrangement making you ether move down seats or sometimes to a new row. The food isn’t too bad it’s typical for a movie theater overpriced but worth the experience.

The seats were compact recliners. You still have to recline your chair back so people can get buy. The nachos chips were stale. The place is clean. The bar area is a cramped area to close to the play area .

It is worth driving to the Woodlands to not see a movie here. Employees are rude. The theaters are dirty. I could not buy my daughter a small drink they only sell medium and large so I guess they dont like or cater to kids here either. I live close to here and drive past it 15 miles to see movies.

Still a good place to see a movie. However, I was not pleased with the washed-out appearance of the screen in the theater we saw The Grinch in. Nowhere near good resolution.Fortunately, my boys didnt notice. But it did bug me intermittently throughout the show. Movie tickets simply cost far too much for patrons to have to compromise on good screen depictions.

Went to see the Avengers End Game. Amazing movie, it was clean and comfortable....however when you have to listen to obnoxious unsupervised teenaged girls talk and play with their phones the ENTIRE movie and get louder when the quieter scenes came up it makes for an unpleasant experience. We were really looking forward to seeing this and the fact we had to deal with that was very disappointing. May I make a suggestion that an employee or manager periodically check in on the theaters for this specific reason. Most of us adults can deal with our kids, but when kids have to “choose” a movie because they are too young to watch the 9pm ones on their own. They don’t care about anyone else in that room.!

Movie was great.. the seats were cumfy.But the theater was humid and warm and that made it uncomfortable. Spent too much money there for the end result.

The Staff are very pleasant. That being said, there is something woefully lacking in the Management. The very polite young lady who took my food order had fake nails on her fingers at least an inch and a half long. The new reserved reclining seating is terribly uncomfortable. The only way to have your feet up, is to be lying nearly prone. If I wanted to watch a movie lying down Id watch it in bed.Lastly, Im sure its different with a full theatre, but I just walked out a little less than halfway thru the movie because the sound was DEAFENING!! Last time I was at this theatre, I walked out with 7other people in the middle of the movie because it was FREEZING in the theatre.For the amount of money it now costs to see a movie, I went make the mistake of coming to The Grand again.

I like the up graded theaters seats are comfortable and the isles are spacious. I was upset because I couldnt see the boring previews I paid for I could hear just not see.Also, I went to see the Avengers, more volume and bass would have been great. Paying for tickets in advance and using the email to get in was nice and convenient. My first time doing so. They need to make sure the movies that show are for everyone, I still upset I had to drive all the way to Bryan from Huntsville to see the Blackkklansman. Im already boycotting movie theater in Huntsville and telling others to do the same because the pick curtain movies Not to show. Dont be next.

Overpriced stuff as expected for a theater. But!!!!! The restrooms were disgusting and had no a.c. in them at all!!! Theaters do not get cleaned out after each movie. Ridiculous! This is the 2nd visit and sucks again! 1st time chairs were sticky from candy && chairs smelled moldy!

Could use new carpets. The front lobby needs a deep clean or new carpets. The staff were friendly. Like all movie theaters the snacks are expensive. Parking was not a problem at all.

Best theater is this area! Low prices, comfortable seating and they always provide a great selection. There are rarely lines which also makes things a lot easier. I do wish they would clean up a little better. The bathrooms and condiment areas are always a little gross.

Normally I will not buy anything from the concession counter, but tonight I made an exception. What a mistake. First, some of the staff were on their phones, but eventually saw fit to take orders. Aside from the popcorn being okay, the pretzels and nachos couldnt have been any worse. The beer was warm. So, I will never buy from a concession stand again. Now onto the seats inside the theater. The room stinks badly from the smell of these seats. I can still smell these seats on my clothing after returning home. Thank goodness they dont turn the lights on over the dim setting because Im pretty sure I would not have sat down, the smell was that bad. One star because I enjoyed the movie.

Movie was good,sound quality was good, all in all a great theater and will go back. My only complaint is rude teenagers playing with their phones. No ushers my husband had to yell at them twice to put them away.
