My friend had a birthday get together and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very pleasant and those pretzels were absolutely amazing. The nachos were fantastic too they put cheese underneath as well unlike some places that barely cover chips on the top.Thanks for being so accommodating you guys. I think the birthday girl was happy

A hidden gem in Conroe! The reclining seating is nice. The bar stocks top-shelf brands. And the food was really good. The hummus appetizer included freshly-cut veggies and was full of flavor. The pork sliders were delicious and the sweet potato fries were light and crispy. The portions are generous - easily shareable! Clean restroom. Friendly staff. My new favorite movie theater!

The seats and atmosphere were nice and the service was good. However, the beer tasted off (almost watered down) and the popcorn was burnt and starting to get stale. The chicken tenders had more breading than chicken, very small, and had no flavor. The fries were good, but even the toast was not great. Considering what they charged absolutely not worth it and very disappointing. Was expecting to be overcharged for movie theater food but this was awful for just how overpriced it was.

My experience was so so. The theater was empty but I could hear talking and action from the other movies that were playing. Also the food wasnt good especially considering what they charge. My son ordered the shrimp, then the chicken. He gave up and decided to eat at home. On a positive note, they had good customer service and their seats were comfortable.

We went on Saturday night to see Star wars the Last Jedi. I got my Moscato wine ( the last one but my wine taste is too flat). Our server is very polite and we do not had to wait too long. The premium seat is comfy, clean and I could cuddling with my hubby. The food and the price is not bad. But, Need to pay attention for cleaning in the women restroom.

Considering Covid, was nice to get out. However, $16 for a frozen pizza and crust not cooked all the way done, made the visit not so good. $32 with tax for drinks and pizza would normally be almost ok, but not a frozen one! Disappointed.

If i could give 0 i probably would. i will not be coming back my mother and i had an awful experience. the attitude of the staff was as if ordering food was a burden. i received my entree and my dessert before my drink or my appetizer. my mother didn’t get her salad till later on and it didn’t even come with the ranch she asked for. there was a different staff person with every visit. they didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing. most of them acted as if we weren’t supposed to come here an order food. we left without giving a tip which my mother had never done before in her life. she usually tips 20% to 25%. thank god the movie was great otherwise might would have left sooner.

Great new theater. Friendly hosts. Nice service. Delicious food made from scratch. Must try the spinach and artichoke dip - absolutely delicious! Pod seats heat up, recline, are semi-private, and include a blanket. Clean bathrooms. Clear, crisp picture. Modern lounge. Brand new!

I wish they would put a little more love into making the food. And also update all the theatre chairs, some of them are ratchet. The screen is good. And most of the people are nice. Some of them are stand offish and not friendly. Work on that and yall will have a 5 from me.

My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday instead of a party. We enjoyed it. My daughter thought ordering food at the movies was the greatest thing ever. I would have given 5 starts except that the price they had listed online was not at all what I paid to get in. And the waitress actually brought me my pizza before we got drinks or my husband got his popcorn.

You can go somewhere else and spend $8 on a bucket of popcorn or you can come here and spend $14 on a real meal. Good place to see a movie. And if you want a beer or a glass of wine while you watch a movie , you have found your place. And just a shout out to manager Eric. Good job Eric.

Love the recliner but it was cold cold

I really enjoyed my trip to the Star Cinema Grill today! It was my first time, and I caught a matinee show so the theater was almost empty (the way I like it! ). The chairs were comfortable, the popcorn was tasty and the staff was helpful Ill definitely be back.

This is the best place in town! I pass over 5 movie theaters during my commute to and from work, I still pick Star Cinema over the rest. If there is an issue, they handle it both professionally and timely. To date, Ive seen over 150 movies here, this place is unmatched.

Charged 90 bucks for 3 meals and small popcorn smh

Went and seen Star Wars Rise if Skywalker....sat in the premium section which turned out really nice. Overall had a good experience with my 13 year old son....my pizza was good I had the The Usual or pizza with sausage, Hamburg,ham,bacon....my son had the standard cheese which was a little on the pathetic side and didnt have very much cheese so I was disappointed that they actually sent out a pizza that looked like that.....but overall it was a good experience.

Discovered this theater several years ago and really like the smaller screening rooms to watch movies. Wonderful surround sound audio compliments the viewing experience. Though I have never tried their menu, friends who have really enjoy their food and drink, which are at reasonable prices, too.

Great theater! Ive been coming here for a few years now, the food, drinks, staff, visual and sound quality are all great!Only downside, It is a bit pricey. I saw Star Wars: Rise Of Skywalker last night, Overall spent about $80. (2 [premium] seats, 2 meals, 1 dessert, 1 soda and, 1 pint beer.)

So great!! Saw a late night film and they werent done cleaning the theater yet but apologized and said they would be done soon. We waited at the bar and the bartender was friendly and super helpful!! He even let us know that we could order at the bar and they would being it into the theater to our seats. Great experience, really nice inside and comfortable seating. We didnt get the reclining seats which are considered premium and you have to pay more but our seats were still spacious and comfy. They reclind a bit but you have to push back and they have cup holders in the seats. Only downside is the womens restroom was on the other end of the theater, its not a super long walk or anything but it wouldve been nice to have them close to the theater I was in.

WHAT!? Recliners and food and alcohol and gracious waitstaff and I can pick my seat beforehand! This place is unbelievable. I also appreciate it is nearly next door to Northern Tool + Equipment. You know in case you need a new trailer wiring harness as I did-well discuss that over at NT+E.

First time here. Reallly enjoyed our experience and will be back! We laid to sit in the recliners and it was well worthy the extra few $$. Bought our tickets online. When you get there give the cashier your confirmation number and theyll print out your tickets.The food was good. Only complaint is no free refills on sodas. The recliners are push button and the seats are so comfortable!! I always get tired of sitting in the movie theater because the seats get uncomfortable for me. I did not once feel tired of sitting in these seats.Full service bar and full menu to choose from. Food was very tasty and about the same as going to eat first and then seeing a movie. The only thing we didnt order was dessert. Also, our appetizer came out with the food. Would have liked to have it sooner. We will be back, but only sitting in premium seats!

I really like going here when I’m in the mood for dinner and a movie. It always feels clean when I’ve come here and the service has always been good. It is a little more pricey, but on those days I want to splurge it’s worth it. I would recommend getting seating before hand online, they seem to book up fast.

The food is inconsistent. Three times, we’ve ordered the queso fries. The first time, they were excellent. The next two times, they hardly had any queso on them. They seem to bring the food out in different orders, once I got my meal before my drinks and another time, I got my dessert before my meal. Food is overpriced. Staff is friendly, though.

We love it. The waitstaff could be better ...always missing something or a kids meal is late but other than that we love buying seats ahead and eating an actual meal with out movie instead of just regular junk. Comfy seats and great food.

We went and watched The Orient Express at 10:35PM. My wife and I were the only ones in the theater which was awesome. We opted for the reclining chairs and they are definitely worth the couple dollar upcharge. The screen was clean and the audio was surprisingly crisp.On a side note, after pressing the call button and it took a little while for someone to come to us. The theater was probably around 75 degrees, so it was pretty warm and humid. When someone finally came to take our order she looked like a manager because she was plain clothed with a name badge. I think she noticed how warm it was and within 5 minutes the theater started cooling down. About half way through the movie it was nice and cold I assume 68-69 degrees and the humidity was gone, perfect!I have come to this theater several times and its always great. Good food, good prices, good screens and good audio. Not much more to ask for.

This place was not that great. The food was decent. The pizza was all grease on the bottom while the pretzel and queso where actually pretty good. The show and employees were terrible. You could hear the movie in the next theater over which was not great at all. Also the servers started to clear out food during the movie multiple time which blocked the view of the movie and I had to say dont take my food I am not done multiple times. On top of that the server then tried to come and take the check back during the end of the movie and could not wait until I left or the end of the movie to pick it up. In the end average food and terrible service and experience. I will not be coming back

Seats are nice. Smaller theater so no Imax or XL screens. Beer selection not great, but full bar is available. Food is fair, but convienient. (Id compare it to chillis but more expensive)

The last time I went to the Star Cinema, me and my husband received our food early in the movie. After about an hour into the movie, my kids still didnt receive their food. I went and spoke with the manager and after an additional 20 minutes my kids finally did receive their food. We were given movie tickets but, I feel management should made the kids meal complimetary due to the long wait.

My family and I only go to Star for movies. Its great to have dinner while watching. However we went tonight and besides the 3 year old that played and screamed through most of it(he was eventually removed) it took 40 minutes to get our cokes. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get my son and husbands food, and an hour and 25 to get mine (I ordered pretzels). My sons was cold when he got it. The manager did remove my sons from our ticket. I dont know what has happened, but the service has been getting worse. Maybe understaffed? I will continue to go though because the recliners are great and purchasing my seats ahead of time is a must.

Wouldve had a better experience if the wait staff wasnt full of teenagers who dont understand customer service. Once the lights go out its hard to get anyone to serve you (probably hard to see the button light is on) but everything was served out of order; we got our dessert before the appetizer and entree items. My husband got his entree about 20-30 minutes into the movie and no one seemed to care that it wasnt being handled. The atmosphere was comfortable, we might go again; service cant always be that bad.

Great food sometimes the waits can be a little long but for the convenience of eating an actual meal while watching a movie its worth it.

It was just ok for me... the chairs didnt recline as expected. The Nachos ARE HORRIBLE. I got the Olaf drinks for the kiddos and just 2 were $17.82. To me that was expensive. The bathrooms were clean and the floor in the theater were clean. But over all I give it 3 stars.

The prices surprised me. Wasnt expecting to spend quite that much. But it IS a theater. I wasnt too thrilled that I was assigned a seat. I usually go for a quiet seat that wont interrupt anyone else if I have to get up. The place is nice. The staff are pretty spot on, and friendly. It was very clean. Great place if you want dinner and a movie.

Buyer beware, do you want to know, as a customer, what you are worth to Star Cinema Grill Conroe according to its manager, Matt? You are worth $20.00! My wife and I had planned all week to have a date night and watch the Joker. We purchased our tickets online this morning at 8:14 am and received them via an email; however, upon arriving at the 7:30 pm showing we found the seats were occupied. According to the manager, the individuals sitting in our seats had purchased tickets for another day, but by its own mistake/admission, the Star Cinema Grill Conroe personnel had told the other customers that their tickets were for today. Even though we actually purchase the correct seats for the correct day, we were told we could not have them and were offered two movie passes (as they did not have similar seats available)! I asked the manager, Matt, if he had children and had to arrange for a sitter and drive 45 minutes on his date night to the cinema if he felt $20 was the proper action from the company perspective and his response was “Yes”. I was shocked to hear this as my date night with my wife was ruined by this situation and all we could do is go home. I don’t complain often but this was outrageous, and I want people to be aware of this company’s policies regarding its mistakes and ruining your day.

I went for my birthday to see Avengers, and it was decent. I’ve gone many times before, but this time was different. I ordered a drink before the movie started and had to wait over an hour for a drink. I notified the bar about halfway through, and nothing. The manager took care of it, and offered a free appetizer for the inconvenience. The drink was the only downfall because the recliner seats were nice, and the food is always on point.

Giving 2 stars based on the service tonight. The actual waitress was friendly enough however, we showed up 15 minutes before Showtime and ordered food which never came out.... After 15 minutes my drink finally arrived, my husbands came out 10 minutes before. after 30 minutes I remember them about our food and ordered another drink and was told that they checked on the food and or would be right out. An hour later food still not there and the manager who I asked to speak with informed me that they were just busy in the kitchen... All we ordered were appetizers, fried picklesK and cheese sticks. ridiculous.

I went to go see IT Chapter 2 Saturday night and ordered a Bloody Mary. After waiting for it for an hour and watching everyone around me get their drinks, floats, and food and still not receiving mine, I canceled it and just ordered a beer because hey, that’s simple right? Nah, took another 20 minutes to get. After how my day was going, my gut was telling me that they were going to lose my card....and they actually did! I didn’t get to see the ending of the movie because I had to go inform the employees and had to wait until the movie was over to go back into the theater to search for it, so I feel like they should’ve offered me a free movie so I could at least see the ending, but no. They found my debit card though, thankfully. This place isn’t as good as it used to be.

Nice comfortable friendly environment. They have upgradable reclining seats and reserved seating so you always know what you are getting. They also have a kitchen where you can order more than just the usual popcorn and nachos. Plus they have a bar. Ive been here several times and have always had a positive experience.

So much better than The Grand. Clean, and like the ability to order food and drink throughout the movie, including wine. Waiters are respectful of customer experience during the movie.

This will be the last time that we go to this theater. The food quality has completely gone down the service has always been terrible. Today was the day after it flooded in Conroe apparently the theater flooded because it smelled like mold and wet dog . The server admitted to me that they got water in the theater. Maybe they should has closed down and carpet cleaned and handled the issue before opening it up to charge full price for a movie. I look for a manager after we left the movie to let them know how we felt. But we couldn’t find one at all. Pretty disappointed in the whole experience not to mention the food did not come to us until the movie was halfway over. That’s also the third time that has happened. Spent $50 tonight and I’m very upset and disappointed.

OMG expensive! Oh no, Mister man...you dont get to say you think youre even with the next cinema. Going to the show is a time honored thing in Texas and it used to be something a whole family could do. Together. Now, itd take $100 for a family to go to the movies. Thats ridiculous. oOvies shouldnt cost $12.00 to see....or more! By the time I add my $30 popcorn, I need a loan.Bull!

I was very happy with the excellent service after watching Aladdin ...also I’d like to thank Anna the server at cinema grill for helping with my flat tire even tho it wasn’t her problem she was more than happy to help n gave me and my little girl a cup of water. So glad there is still kind people to help wen in need...
