Currently I go to Phoenix for the pinball but Ive bought games here in the past. They have a great selection of new and used games a wide variety of consoles and hand-helds. The staff is very helpful and friendly. With a good selection of about 15 rotating tables plus a good number of retro video games, its a fun place to spend some time. Ive been stopping in occasionally for a long time but playing pinball more regularly brings me to Phoenix more often now. Thanks for being a part of Concords pinball culture.

I love going to this place as they have EVERYTHING, even a working arcade with so many pinball machines. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Huge selection of games from every generation. If you are a video game fan or collector this place will dazzle you. They also do disc resurfacing. I just got a copy of Metal Gear Solid(PS1) resurfaced. It wasnt working properly before but now I am an hour into the game and it works flawlessly. Cant wait to come back.

Great place to play old school pinball and arcade games. I just wish this place had two things for customers. They need reasonable size step stools for kids as I only seen one bar stool for my daughter to use unless they had them hidden or you have to request it. The other thing I feel they need is plastic cups so people can put their coins inside the cups because not all people have pockets on their clothes.

The customer service is superb and the employees knowledge is mind blowing. I’ve yet to have a question I couldn’t get an answer for. Game prices are accurate or low based on current market value and most everything can be personally tested before hand, so people can’t complain something isn’t working. Their arcade is awesome for its size and they even do kids parties. If you want something they have a wait list where they call when they get your desired item in stock. What a Bay Area gem... Thank you for existing!

There is always an amazing assortment of pinball gener to chose from. They carry many preowned games and accessories for your favorite consol. Its my favorite place to visit. I get wrapped up in pinball for hours. You abo play pinball or purchase games. Its a gamers paradise.

I love this place! They dont just have old games. They have a arcade machines too and the games are cheaper then other places.

A fantastic voyage down memory lane. True gamers will love this place. They offer all of the old school (some are VERY old school) gear. The workers are cool and I have even given all of them nicknames, as Im known to do. I also enjoy their pinball and Neo Geo machines.

The staff at Phoenix Games are knowledgeable, helpful and super nice. You can buy new games, old games and trade stuff in for cash or store credit. They also have a good size arcade as well. They regularly hold pinball, arcade and game competitions. If you are looking to have a good time and great experience Phoenix Games is your destination.

A must for any gamer. The owner is a local guy whos been adding to our community for 30+ years. Thats as long as Ive seen him around. This shop has everything and with great prices. You have to stop in to see the inventory. Brink quarters because they have retro video games to play.

This place has stuff you wont see any place else. All kinds of vintage video games, consoles and other accessories for all of your old school games. The only problem with the place is its very expensive. but I guess if you want it badly enough its here.

Got an older Wii system from here still in the box for $10 bucks more. Definitely a bargain! Wouldve loved to get this system and three games for only $90 back in the day. Lol Got it for a Christmas present for the kids they love it! It was used but still in great condition and no problems whatsoever. Just glad Phoenix games exist! Someone has to have a store with older gen gems and this is definitely the spot to find them.

Super awesome had a ton of fun with my father playing most of the games there. There are tons of pinball machines and also lots of youre classic games. Digdug , Galaga , E.T.C. Has mortal combat. In the front and main vending area there is lots of games for youre DS GameBoy PlayStation Xbox and other gaming systems. You can buy lots of classical games. There are fluctuations in availability of different specific games.

It has great employees and they can help you with anything and they are not rude they are extremely kind

Ive been going to this establishment for a long time now and it never gets old! They have a HUGE selection from very old games and systems to the newest games and systems. Thats not including the pinball machines and old school stand up video games!

This place is great, have been here to sell and buy games and consoles. Great employees, very knowledgeable about everything it seems. They have pinball games and arcade games. They also hold fun tournaments that you can play in to win things. They have stuff you usually cant find other places. If you have never been its a must to stop by and take a gander at least.

I love coming here to look for retro games. They always test their products and make sure they work. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to build a retro game collection. The only con(?) I have is they dont tend to have the rarer stuff, but obviously its first come first serve so I cant really complain too much.

This place is awesome only 1 of 2 video game stores I know of that still carries PS2 games. It was also fun playing pin ball and vintage video games in the back. They had what I was looking for ( X-Men Legends), the game works excellent. If your game doesnt work so well, you have a 30 day money back guarantee. Just keep the receipt.

A great little hidden gem for Pinball. Out front it looks like a standard video game store, but hidden in the back is a great selection of pinball machines.

Great place to play pinball. Owner is very friendly and really is fun to talk with about the more obscure details of the machines. And, that isnt all - they have a huge selection of video games too. Games I have never heard of! Parking is good.

If you have a need to play well maintained retro arcade games. This is the place. Oh did I mention they have pinball too? 10 or so machines. All well maintained.Also they sell used video games to complete your collections. Lots of rare stuff. Like a Magnavox gaming system. Amazing and nice people.

Phoenix Games is a gem of a used video game store tucked away in Concord. It has a friendly, helpful staff, reasonable prices and a very nice selection of games. Though is out of my way, Im very willing to make the trip and I try to stop by from time to time to see what classic titles they may have on sale. Easily a five-star location.

When I walk in Im transported to a more simple, more peaceful time.They seem to have everything youre looking for, but if somehow they dont they take requests and will keep an eye out for you! Even if they find it and you decide you dont want it, no fee or penalty. All games are tested and cleaned, returns are welcome so long as it falls within the terms and for store credit.

Have always gone to them for repairs and used games.

Its a cool game store, has a large selection of games and accessories vintage and contemporary. It also has a really cool arcade. It has Ghouls and ghosts and even a Terminator 2 machine among others. It also has a great selection of pinball machines.

Amazing place great staff selection and prices. If you find something you like I wouldnt hesitate things move fast in this store.

Stellar selection of pinball, really well taken care of. Friendly staff. Pinball, admittedly, is all I care about. In a perfect world I would nudge the lighting up a bit, for pinball. But really, not worth the quibble for all the joy that awaits a pinballer here.

Overall I really enjoy this store but on multiple occasions I have come to the store at 10am when they say there open but nobody is there and they are closed.

Awesome store with lots of history!I went in there for the PINBALL though, and was truly impressed. A dedicated group of players, and an owner that really takes care of the games. They were updated, running beautifully, and i had a blast!Will always pop by whenever im in town!

I wish I could give less than one star, this place is so dishonest and uncustomer-friendly. I wanted a genuine Nintendo 64 controller and since they only had 3rd party controllers, I was put on the wait list. A few weeks later I finally got a call saying they had one. I drive there and buy the controller for about $21 all told. When I get home and removed the plastic to test it out, I find that the Z-button is broken, the D-pad is unresponsive and the joystick had been replaced with a very stiff and uncomfortable 3rd party joystick. So the next day, I go back and try to return it, but they point out the bottom of the receipt states they do not do returns and can only offer store credit. They did not tell me this before I bought the product and clearly do their best to hide this when they sell products. What am I gonna do with store credit to a place that lies and sells broken products? It wouldnt be a big deal if I wasnt strapped for cash but of course I am. What kind of store doesnt offer refunds on broken products? Ive never had a worse shopping experience in my life. Do NOT go here if you are looking for quality retro video game products

They have games for almost any system you want, no matter the rarity. Prices are a little high though. Either way, definitely recommend checking them out if your looking for old or even new games. Just dont try to sell your games here because they will give you little to nothing. Lol
