Turkey pond is a nice little warm water pond that is used by Saint Pauls school. It is actually 2 ponds tied together (big and little turkey) by a rowing lane used by the school. The public launch site is accessed off of Clinton Street on the right roughly 1 mile after Silk Farm road. The launch area is pretty rough and some cars may have difficulty navigating the many rocks. The water is home to warm water species of fish.
Too many large rocks and cant drive through safely unless you have a truck.
Great fishing and pond is fun to paddle around. The launch is a bit rough without a truck but it is doable.
If you have a boat this can be a fun place to fish during the warm weather months as the pond is loaded with bass, pickerel and sunfish. If you dont have a boat access to the pond is restricted to the boat launch. The launch has recently been rehabbed making it easier to access.Fun place to ice fish as well. Bring a shelter as the wind doesnt have much to dampen it. You will get cold.
Kinda small area for fishing, but it was nice. Im sure well be back and possibly to kayak next time.
Beautiful, secluded, well-maintained.
If you are trailering a boat in space it will be a tough turn around and Im pretty Rocky driveway. Theres not a lot of room for parking.
Rocky if you arent good at backing a trailer dont try it. If you have a low vehicle you risk bottoming out. Good luck fishing!
The pond itself is nice, but if you dont have a truck/ SUV you are kind of screwed. The road itself to get to the boat launch is rocky and has a bunch of pot holes, almost destroyed the underneath of my car. Definitely would recommend they fix that.
Beautiful and peaceful. Great kayaking spot!
Really rocky! Some oil pan magnets....
Very nice place to go fishing
By far one of the worse launches around. Just about impossible to get a small trailer down there. Really appropriate for 4wd car topper only
People there have no respect for others that are fishing. I highly do not recommend.
Easy to get to, drive slow it is very rocky
A small public dock that offers free public boat access to the beautiful turkey pond. This place is stunning in the fall when the leaves turn, and I cant wait to go kayaking here again, as soon as I can get a roof rack. This is a wonderful place, plain and simple.
Good size lake, boat launch is good shape.
Poor drive way. Rocky and rutted. Not well posted
Nice launch.
No where to fish from shore.... Only have the boat launch to fish from
Entrance way is very rough
Very poor lunching big rock every where but looked like a get place to fish
