I went here all the time as a kid and I still enjoy going. Very relaxing and theres a lot of ceramics you can paint. You can go alone, with friends, or with family. I always have a good time here. Birthday parties were also very fun. Highly recommend :)

We LOVE plaster funcraft! My daughter has so much fun painting here. The staff is extremely helpful and keep the space very clean! We can’t wait to come back. I am looking forward to bringing my daughter back to paint some holiday gifts soon!

I absolutely LOVE bringing my niece and nephew to Plaster Funcraft and love going myself for the adult events they have too! Their space is so clean, their staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful and every time I go I have the most amazing experience. My niece and nephew absolutely love going and constantly ask when we can go back!

We loved our plaster fun craft home kits! It kept my son entertained for a while and it was perfectly packaged with paint, a paint brush and even a little tray to keep the craft on!

I always take my son here when we have days off the staff is super friendly and helpful and their collection of things to paint is plentiful. Their prices for their crafts is wonderful too. We always have so much fun coming here.

Best birthday party! We did a slime party, which kids loved! Great messy fun at the store, not in my house. The craft part is followed by a dance party with a DJ in their back party room, which has cool lights, disco ball, etc. Clean establishment, helpful staff. Fully recommend.

We had an amazing birthday party there! We received personalized attention from Danielle the entire time who was so helpful, friendly and sweet. The girls loved to craft and paint and have a keepsake to remember the experience by forever. Definite recommend!

We went to a family birthday party here and the kids (ages 2-10) had a fantastic time! They were so proud of their creations and got to dance it all out in the party room! such a fun time!

Hosted my daughters 6th birthday. Most importantly the kids loved it. Friendly staff made the day a breeze. Back room is a bit dated, but the kids didn’t mind at all.

Love this iconic Long Island painting place! I took my children there years ago and now Im taking my grandkids... My grandchild just had her birthday party there - she and her guests had a ball. The children enjoyed painting, dancing, singing, games, pizza, and pinata. And it was stress-free for my daughter, as the Plaster Funcraft party planner, host, and DJ took care of everything. My youngest granddaughter wants to have her party there next year. Theres a reason this local business is still around - good old fashioned fun for all!

My son had a birthday party here for a classmateNice little place gives kids a creative project to take home with them I saw they have a couples night and a ladies night that you can bring your own snacks and wine/adult beverage and paint sounds like a good date night gonna check it out after christmas sometime

This is a really fun place to take the kids for a few hours of fun. It also has a very friendly and helpful staff.

My kid loves this place, and for the time you get to spend there Id say its reasonable. ~$15 and you can get a piece of plaster and the paint. They also have a private room you can rent for parties. Id say for a kid 3-9 years old this is a good hour long diversion for a rainy day.Be aware that their paint doesnt come out of clothes- they do give you a smock, but its pretty skimpy and only covers your front. While its more than sufficient if youre painting yourself, if youre actually helping a young child next to you instead of painting, guard your flanks!

We hosted an at home birthday party and got all of the supplies for our painting party from the plaster funcraft. They had a great selection of plater to choose from (we found unicorns for the bday girl, super Mario for big brother and even a Yankee logo for grandpa to paint!). The staff was very helpful in packaging the products and selecting paint palettes to go with each plaster item we chose. The kids had a blast at the party and we had all of the necessary supplies. It was great!

This is a great little arts and crafts center for kids in Commack. My family loves coming here. One of the staff members offered to close last week so that my kids could paint. They usually paint either plaster pieces or canvases. Its pretty reasonably priced considering how expensive EVERYTHING is around here. They have things starting at $12 and they also have specials different days of the week, like buy one get one half off on Fridays and 20% off certain themed items on Tuesdays, etc. Highly recommend this LI institution!!

Love the fun, relaxed, creative environment of this place. Brought my kids here over February vacation and they had a blast painting and dancing. Whats really nice about this place is that over school vacations they will turn on lights and music and video games in their party room and let the kids play after they paint. So you can spend a good amount of time there if you want to. Having said that, it gets REALLY busy over the school breaks, so if you want a calmer, quieter painting experience, you should go on a typical weekday. My kids love it and ask to go every school break. They have great canvases to paint too, as well as the usual plaster pieces.

I am very pleased at the service at Plasterfuncraft.The manager is so sweet and helpful.We were unsure of the time you guys closed and she let us stay an extra 20 minutes so we were able to finish our plaster piece. She also allowed us to take another plaster piece home along with paints and a brush. My daughter was very happy and we would definitely come back!

Went this afternoon with my sons and a friend joined us with her son .Weve always had a very nice time here. The staff is always great and accommodating. Chatted with the new owner too. She is a lovely local mom.

I love coming here and painting with my niece. She has such a great time every time we come here! I even love to paint myself. Its very relaxing! They have such a great selection of pieces to paint for adults and kids. They have other crafts like sand-art and canvas painting! I plan to stop by again!

Came here a week ago to try this place for the first time with my 6yo she loved it.. she painted i didnt... Confirmed they would be opened for mothers day because she was so excited to come back and I was going to paint with her. We walked in at 4:45 mothers day.. same time as last time and the woman behind the desk asked us if we were planning on painting there or to go... didnt even say hello... i wasnt even aware that painting to go was an option. I told her our plan was to paint there and her response was oh well i was going to close early...but since you want to paint go pick out your pieces prices are on the bottom a little discouraged i walked over to pick out pieces with my daughter and the woman proceeded to make a phone call talking about how we walked in and now she cant come to wherever she was going to go and if she leaves right at 6 (which is the time they close) it wouldnt make sense because it would be too late....Im a business owner. I get wanting to leave a little early to be more involved in family/friend time outside of work especially whenits slow but there was another family inside and we wouldve been done about the same time (judging from thier progress..) but did you have to make the phone call infront of us? Why would i stay somewhere knowing im rushed and unwanted? Why would you even make it a point to tell me you were closing early if you were going to let us stay and paint? If you were planning on closing early you should of educated us of that upon entering...shut your open sign off. Not told me last monday youd be open but your hours would be different. Awful customer service :( next time ill just go to Michaels and get all supplies atleast there maybe ill get a hello before im rushed out the door.

Great place to plan a birthday for kids and events for adults too! I attended a ladies night here, we were able to BYOB and it was alot of fun! Definitely a trip down memory lane, I loved coming to these places when I was younger and now, Im able to take my son here and he loves it. We were able to take our projects home the same day, which was great! The staff was very helpful, cant wait to come back.Ps- For those who love music, they have a great playlist during adult nights, From 80s to 90s to now. Good times!!!

Birthday party for 10 yr old boy.Think age limit for good party experience here would be no older than 9 especially for boys.maybe 10 for girls.nice helpful staff ,good plaster craft choices for boys or girls ,party room ok with some video games and large flatscreens. Dance music was good but pinata was a bit lame as party helper just shook candy out of it after ribbons got pulled. Pizza was delivered and choice of water or Apple juice was given in tiny bathroom size cups. Ok experience with something kids can take home for themselves

The place is good, im not gonna lie. But the management... the woman who appeared to be in charge is so rude, she pretends to be nice but she is just rude. I work for DDI, a place for people with mental disabilities, we do outings so the guys can have a good time. I took 5 of our guys there and off the bat, we walked in and this lady said next time, please call if youre bringing a group 5 PEOPLE. FIVE!!!! ITS NOT LIKE I BROUGHT 20!!!!!! She set us up and ny guys started doing their painting, half of them were done, the rest wasnt, i was waiting for the other 2 to finish and she started to grab their brushes and paint containers and said Im gonna ring you up okay? I have never felt more offended in my life. She pretty much kicked us out and left 2 of the guys with incomplete crafts. We literally spent about 15 minutes there, and we were pretty much rushed outta there. Worst place ever. If you really want a good place to do stuff like this, go to Plaster Kraze Inc, in Selden. So much better and you and your kids are not gonna get kicked out.

My kids had a fun time here, but this places isnt quite as nice as the other plaster crafts stores, specifically the organization of the store. The art choices were crammed on shelves everywhere, without clear indications of price - they really just need more space. There was also a nice looking party space in the back that we didnt use.

I come here often to paint their cute figures. they are very nice there and helpful. they also ordered more than one figure for me that they didnt have at the store. they are very caring and they called me so quickly to tell me the item arrived at the store and that they would hold it for me... couldnt ask for anything more!!!! thanks!

My daughter had a great party here, but I don’t think I would ever go back and I’m going share this on Facebook too! The manager who runs the party or the store. She is just rude from day one. I spend $1,000 here and she has just been rude. Not one smile not one thank you and I’m asked a question and she reply’s just rude. I left a $30 craft on the table and called them back 10 mins later and she could not even look she was two busy. Then was told she will call me back and did not. I’m sure In 10 mins they not going steal it and I was told it’s my problem. That’s how she’s reply’s to my problem. This lady needs to be more nice to customers and customers who are spending money too. We not spending $1 we are spending $1,000.I also asked for owner to call me when I get there 20 mins later but never did.I guess she feels like she don’t need own business because she will just get more.
