Very peaceful. No playground, and could use some more seating areas. All in all a nice place to sit a while.

Not exactly much of a park. Not sure I’d recommend this place if it isn’t in your nearest vicinity.

Big open fields. Two parking lots. And a dirt path along water.

Nature view with creek and great soccer field

Loved exploring in the woods by the river. Then hitting golf balls on the wide open field.

I think there are weird guys doing weird thing in the woods keep an eye on the little ones while out there

Went today so my son could practice driving a bit.. soon as I drove to the back of the park there was a super creepy vibe.. bunch of men just sitting in their cars eye balling each other. Something not right going on in this park

The parents of the children that practice or play ball at this park should be fined the highest fine for littering everytime they visit and use this park, they just drop anything on the ground and even clean out their cars onto the parks grass and parking areas. The litter has become a very large problem in this park. And the parents are more to blame than the children. Please have police go there when a game or practice is going on to fine the litter bugs for the damage they cause to the park and creek with all this litter.

Lots of open space as well as trails through the woods, beautiful creek side with breathtaking views

Rather creepy. E very car we passed only had men. When I went to look for a fishing spot there were men in the wooded area being very intimate.

Mostly just a open field. No play equipment for the kids (promote a bit of creativity and imagination!) nor is there anything as mundane as a walking/running path.(Though you could use the fields, and the driveway.) But if you want to get some friends together for a game of soccer or ultimate frisbee, two open fields await. It can be a bit of a challenge to get out of the driveway when you leave, if you are turning left (North) onto Hamilton rd.

Its just a couple large open field and I guess a small trail in the back, but I didnt go there. This is a park of last resorts really for us. Plenty of space for playing some catch, pickup soccer, throwing the football around. But not much else to do for kids or adults. It is a well known cruise spot FYI, especially in the back of the park. Would-be customers park there, then sit in their cars waiting for a pre-arranged date or for a walk-in session. Some drug activity also happens mixed in with the solicitation. In late summer and early fall then again in early spring it does get crowded with youth sports who use the fields for games and practices. Im glad to see it gets use for this purpose. And while it would be nice to put some play equipment or something there, I guess sometimes you just need an open field and a ball. Not everyplace needs to be a Magic Mountain.

I originally gave it 3 stars because it was a nice little spot. A lot of people parked in the back lot (make out point). I went back a little darker on another day. Walking the path i had to turn around as 3 men were pleasuring each other. On my way out of the path i was stalked by 2 toothless bums high on who knows what (meth) all the way to my car, meanwhile grunting and growling. Do not take your kids here.

Peaceful - Relaxing - Calm - Quiet place to park n chill out...

A nice, quiet place to eat lunch or take a nap.

It seems someone likes to erase my posts about this place. I think Helsel Park should permanently close and people should be arrested who go there.

There is absolutely nothing to do in this park. I mean NOTHING. Find a better park because this aint it.

My boyfriend and I went to toss the football because there is so much open land. When we pulled into the back lot, we noticed there were several cars parked with people in them, just sitting there. We tossed the ball and more people would show up to just sit there. A couple people left their cars to walk into the woods, only to come out in less than five minutes and drive away. It had super creepy vibe. Definitely not going back

Too many creeps my son loves to run so it is the perfect space but you have some adults their that have other activity going on. #CPD needs to clean up their

Theres nothing but open land at this park. Super boring! The only thing you might see is a bunch of adults parked in the back.

Columbus still needs to be proactive in keeping out the riff raff people who go there for no good reasons.
