Another great birthday at Skate Zone! My kids keep requesting parties here year after year. They had a blast. The staff kept things clean and safe and were always helpful. I highly recommend them for your next skate party!

The vibe there is amazing. The lights are cool, if theres an employee on the skating floor and you fall, they always go and help you up. The music is nice, the employees are nice. Totally recommend going there for a family fun day.

This place is amazing it is fun to roll around. The food the is great the mini games are also great Lazer tag Is super fun. But the rental roller skates are super hard on your feet if you plan to roller skate for an hour or two. So I highly recommend to bring your own roller skates.

We got to rent the rink for a private party which allowed us to have a safe celebration. Theres so much for the kids to do. Great staff with great attitudes and service. Well worth the price

The adult skate nights are so much fun! Its not too crowded if you go early. Everyone is kind and considerate of less experienced skaters. The DJ is fantastic and plays a great variety of music conducive to skating. Highly, highly recommend.

Skate zone 71 is a good place to have skating and have fun with family with some games and arcades. I visited this as part of my daughter school program. It’s good arena for skating and have some food and enjoy a evening with family. They have nice dj and music, dance lights on skate floor. The other games include laser tag and arcade games. They have nice food options like quick munches, pizza and ice creams. They have some good deals on games and food. Visit if you are skate lover.

My family & I went here yesterday & the staff was amazing And so helpful. It was refreshing to see young women and men conduct themselves in such a professional way & even stayed up with cleaning while guest were there.We will definitely be back!!!!

We had our birthday party today and everyone had a great time! The people working there were very nice and helped make the whole experience fun!

It was ok ,clean but the dj was mean.

It was a fun time but the recent safety regulations with masks was barely enforced. Most people walking around without them, also i ended up just getting my own skatemate because after 10 minutes of waiting by the rental area no employee showed up

There were no mask and people were so close I payed 100 dollars for this and people crashed into other and the workers don’t listen at all and the shows had bad smells it was a bad experience and I’ve been to a lot of roller skating places and I do not recommend this place.

First time going here with some friends while I was visiting for the weekend and had soo much fun. The place was clean and not too packed, I will come again when I come back to Ohio next. Worth the 10 hour drive up here to relax and enjoy the night for $10.

Was my first time skating ever, didnt know what to expect.. but man was it fun!! The staff there are extremely nice and straightforward. Checking in is as easy as 1-2-3. As for the atmosphere it was really chill, the music was bumpin and had people dancing. 10/10 would go again. Also dont forget to bring your friends.

Went for adult skate 90s R&B and had a blast. Perfect for a fun and casual night out with friends. I actually went with my siblings and cousins and we all had a great time. The lockers dont seem to work but it wasnt issue as the crowd was pretty chill and we kept an eye on our stuff. Overall I would recommend.

We visited for the first time for a birthday party. It was so fun! My daughter had a great time and it was pretty clean! We are planning on going back soon!

Kids had an amazing night. 10 bucks each for each kid to get in/ shoe rental and unlimited Free cheese pizza until 930 pm. Music was jumping. Pretty live night!

Had a few hiccups during my daughters birthday party but nothing major and they made it right. My daughter had the time of her life for her 7th birthday party. It was a little pricey but worth it. Wonderful memories were made.

We love going skating here as a family. Friday nights are a bit packed with teens that like to fight but they have ample security and police. Service is always good and our family loves it. We mostly go on Sundays.

I came for my best friends birthday, just me and her. We came in and already we noticed that the place was a mess.It had trash on the ground, the counters and even the carpeted walls were wet, and the bathrooms were disgusting. Additionally the workers were disrespectful and they didn’t responsibly do there job. My friend and I were getting a drink from the vending machine and it didn’t give us a drink so we asked a worker to help us. My friend was feeling really dizzy because the building is extremely hot. The worker left us and went to help someone else before getting the drink and when we asked for her help again, she left us again and started working at the cash register. It took her a total of 50 minutes until I went to the front desk and saw her working there. I confronted her and explained how it was my friends birthday and we came to have fun but now she is on a bench, light headed, and thirsty. The worker said that it was not her job and I explained to her what happened and how it was her job because she works there! I am very disappointed that this staff will not take responsibility and just help out a customer.

Good place to rollerblade

Me and my family go there every week for lessons and open skate. The instructors are very patient and sweet. We look forward each week to going back. When my little sister took a fall the instructors came right over to make sure she was going to be okay.

Crowded and deafening. If thats ok with you and you like roller skating youll love it. Otherwise the patrons and employees were fine. It might just be that Saturday afternoon is the most crowded and deafening time to be there.

I really enjoyed myself here as a skater. The atmosphere was very nice and it was very clean and well put together thank you so much for hosting the Skating parties in this facility

My 4 and 7 year old granddaughters had a great time with their school outing. A bit pricey for more than one kid. The fried mozzarella sticks were fabulous!

Skate Zone 71 is a very nice rink! My son loves to skate but is still learning so he enjoys the skate lessons on Saturday morning. We try to go when they have a special so its a little more affordable in our budget.

My girl friend and I attended this location on Saturday, July 6. This is the first and last time we will attend this location. We are both avid skaters and have experienced numerous other skating locations and this one was by far the worst. As mentioned in many other reviews, the staff was lethargic, rude, and inattentive when we first walked in the door to purchase our admission and skates. The two young men at the skate counter appeared dazed and it actually took asking them if they were going to help us before they took action to give us our skates. The choice of music was unacceptable especially considering the younger audience, filled with profanity and sexual innuendos. The “safety rules” for this rink are unbelievable as well. You are not allowed to wear ball caps while skating (as if this is some type of hazard). No chain skating (no holding hands) which is something skating rinks have always been known for. No fast or backwards skating (unless a designated song) for backwards skating. I fully understand where safety is a main concern for a business, but when entering the building skaters understand they skate at their own risk and take on that risk when purchasing admission. The restrictions this facility imposes classifies it as more of a day care with trash music and bare minimum quality employees than a skating rink. All around Customer service for this facility couldn’t have a lower ranking in our eyes.

Went there with the high school band to break up a long day at a competition. The band members had so much fun. Unfortunately one member fell and got hurt (they are fine now), the response and concern from the staff was amazing and truly appreciated.

When I had my party at Skate Zone 71, there were your own room. It was even glow in the dark! Many people enjoyed the glow in the private room. I recommend Skate Zone 71 because its the best birthday place to have your birthday party at.

Staff seemed overwhelmed. We waited in line for over 15 minutes just to be told that the rink would reopen in an hour so they could clean the facilities...seemed like a mess and we will not be back. There has to be a nicer establishments in Columbus.

Nostalgic throwback. My fam and I enjoyed the roller rink. A bit pricey for a family to get in but we found deals in the concessions where usually it is reversed.

Lots of fun to go around for the whole family. Friendly atmosphere. Some features need updating. Parking is plenty most of the time.

My son and his cousins had a great time. Door cashier was a little rude but it was not enough to ruin his day. The cotton candy tower was a big hit!

I have never seen worse employees. From the front desk to the woman handing out skating shoes. They seemed annoyed with the slightest question. I asked to change sizes of skates and she rolled her eyes. I even saw them straight up ignoring customers. Don’t come here on a weekend. No enforcement of rules, teenagers fighting on the rink, bathrooms not clean. A waste of $15.

This is a very fun place for kids on Sunday at 12noon! I really appreciate the fun I had.

Decent place for family friendly entertainment. They are pretty strict about their hours. The rink is a little small compared to what I am used to but, they offer arcade games and later tag as well.

Everyone needs a home course, Its the only skating place I know that has a track instead of an open floor. Very enjoyable(and healthy) way to spend a night.

Games are bad/broken. Couldn’t even get the prizes shown with tickets..what..?Pizza was meh. Laser tag was a joke. Bathrooms destroyed. Employees don’t seem to fare about much of anything.Never again.

The work out will always be good but the music or shall i say the DJ isnt very good at all and ive skated at Skate zone 71 since it was called USA skate. Terrible song selections.

Great staff! They were ALL incredibly helpful and kind. This was the best experience Ive ever had at any skating rink in Columbus! I took a group of 20 kids and they all had a blast as well. The staff went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations with their spectacular service. They were incredibly attentive and took the initiative to see that my church group had a great time, wanting for nothing. Amazing job Skate Zone 71!

Upon entering establishment you have to sign a waiver. This process took a long time and should be more streamlined, such as putting waivers towards end of line to be filled out before paying. Im guessing multiple kids equaled multiple forms filled out took 10 min even though line wasnt long. The theme for skating was 80s troll night so I had assumed 80s music was what would be played.My mistake I guess. There is a section in the floor that is wavy, not in the skating area itself,but problematic nonetheless. Unlimited pizza was not very good ,but I didnt expect much to be honest. Snack area needed more workers. Toy prizes for game area were cool.Skating assist pvc walker things used for new skaters was cool.

I had a birthday party for my daughter here and the server given to us was lazy. She didn’t serve things on time. Our table wasn’t set up when we arrived, and we were short on things we purchased through our package. They made the pizza late so we had to take 3 pizzas home. The server was getting instructions for the party from the guest and not the one who is paying for the party. Not everything in our purchased package was given. The list goes on. At the end of the party the crazy party server gets up in my face over telling the manager about an awful party.

It is an amazing and friendly place! Highly recommend coming here! Perfect for teaching little ones to skate at their 4-7 skate time. Administration and slate rentals is at a reasonable price, foods a little bit high in price but thats to be expected at outing places!

Decent place to roller skate but it was not very clean.

Highly disappointed! Went so my kids 9 & 7 could spend time with their dad. They just wanted to play some games and eat pizza. Didnt realize they charge you $9 a kid just to come in on top of paying for tokens. We pay, order our food, and then head to play games. Only to find most of the games are out of order it off. WTF! They only have a few games so with most of them down there were only about 5 games they could play. I talked with the manager and was told they dont refund tickets. They did however refund my entrance fees. The only reason I gave the 2 stars was because the food was good. We had pizza and wings. Plus this would be a fun place to come and skate. They also have laser tag. But dont waste your money on tokens its cheaper to just buy the toy they want. Probably not going back again.

This is a great time and very affordable for a Saturday afternoon outing. The place is clean and well-kept. The employees are friendly and helpful. The music was fantastic! I appreciated that the extras like lasertag and arcade were very reasonably priced. At the end, they sold pizza and things at a discount which many people enjoyed. The employees were focused on safety which I absolutely LOVED!! We will go again!

Good food, good service, good vibes, and good music!! 4 stars instead of 5 because your DJ decided that it was okay to play Thotiana for small children during a dance off. We are talking age range 5 years to 11 years. Not cool. Other than that no complaints.

Overall better than expected. Would have given a better rating except for one employee ruined it. Gone are the days of eye contact and respect. Other than the one employee had a good time.

My family and I had a great time. The establishment was clean as were the restrooms. My only issue was with some of the Male employees. They were rude, short, and just werent nice to anyone. One refused to have us go through his line to pay for admission because he was new. The guy who worked the skates threw our skates towards us because we had questions about skate size. The Female employees were very professional, helpful, kind, and they made up what the guys lacked.

If you truly love skating it doesnt matter where you skate, its all about the people, and theres a really dope crowd on adult night on Thursdays, theres great music to dance to and the energy is always worth coming out for

Much better experience than I expected. Ive been a few times now.Heres what you need to know: Skating sessions are three hours each so you basically pay for three hour or less each time you go. They have food, games, and everything you need to have a successful trip. You can bring your own skates to save money. My biggest surprise might seem like common sense to some but... the crowd/demographics change a lot based on the theme of the skate session. Never had a bad time here but, my impression is that you wouldnt want your little kids here on a late night skate night while its full of big kids.

This is an absolutely wonderful facility! The staff is always nice and do the job with a good attitude. The floor is in fantastic shape. Its a well maintained facility overall. I immensely appreciate that the music is more on the family friendly side. There is a lot to be said for the customer base here, too. Ive been to other rinks where the referee is not doing the job at all, and Ive been literally knocked down by other skaters. That has never happened at Skate Zone, and I credit both the excellent staff and just generally decent people who frequent this rink. I just wish I lived closer!!

Great mix of skating, music, video games and surprisingly good food to keep the kids entertained and get some exercise at the same time. Staff was very courteous and kind. Kind gentleman at the front desk warmly welcomed all the kids.
