Absolutely terrible. The owner ridiculed my friends and I over our selection of drinks and kept calling us inappropriate names. He was plastered drunk and could barely hold a coherent sentence. Wouldn’t bring my worst enemy here after a night like this. Tragedy. The building itself is so nice too.

Great little location with live music!

Cheap drinks, decent pizza if youre drunk. I love the kitschy decorations. Goth night every first Monday! A warning to trans folk or the shy: the mens room stall has no door and the womens room stall has a shower curtain instead.

My band played a show here and it was a great time. Parking sucks though.

If you liked this place 30 years ago you will still like it because it hasnt changed a bit. Not a place of beauty but theyve given a lot of great bands their starts for many years so I must give them props for that. Also depending on what time youre there you could order 10 beers and 5 pizzas for a total of $20. No Im not joking.

Bar only except for bags of chips. Prices are below average for beer with Natural Light being only a dollar. The patio is a good size for lounging. Other than that the place is what you would expect of a collegiate area.

I went to see a band there and the place was basically the same that it was when I was back in college. Friendly people a great atmosphere, a large selection of drinks and from what I could tell hey good time had by all. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely my favorite bar in Columbus. It is a nice hole in the walk place with cheap drinks good pizza and great atmosphere. They have live music every weekend and the bands will range from metal to salsa. Can never go wrong going to Rubys!

I have only been here a couple of times. But I have always enjoyed the atmosphere, and the drinks are low cost. Only downside is parking.

Love the music that happens here! They have a good setup and actually a lot of room on the inside. There is an upstairs as well as a downstairs. The drinks are super well priced and they have an acceptable amount of variety!

This is a great dive, not hung up on fads or being there best craft beer bar. They serve great pizza, have great music and amazing prices on drinks

Very cool atmosphere, low beer prices, laid-back bartender and tasty pizza. The bartender said the owners are antique collectors and that explains why the inside is so unique. Two pool tables and a nice patio outside.

Cherubs with Obnox worked out great here. I was sort of wondering why it wasnt at Ace of Cups but after the show, I didnt think it mattered at all!!

Cool space. Saw DOMESTIC TERROR and dog bite here. Bartender and apparently owner is super cool. There was a little food, smoker, cart guy/thing that was tasty on the front patio. Saw they had pizza too.. loomed tasty enough for a bar! Had a great time. Its worth checking out. OH, they also have two pooltables and a little basketball arcade game if you dont dig the band thats playing or are into that stuff. Also there are mad TVs all over the place if youre into sports or whatever. Ill be back.

I absolutely love this bar. Drinks are dirt cheap and strong, and Wednesday Trivi-oke is so much fun. Just make sure if you go you get there early to get a table and buzzer as space is limited.

Sound board is a little shakey at times and more hygienic to go in the sink than the toilet, but that is to be expected at a dive bar. The employees were some of the nicest people Ive ever met.

Unsafe environment. Allowed an unprovoked assault to take place and blamed the victim.

Both bands were awesome but that staff were not very friendly.

Had a great time watching the Crew game and the drink prices are very reasonable.

Great place to soak in some live music from local bands! Great drink specials and decent pizza! On of the few remaining establishments still open from the 1980s era at Ohio State.

Beautiful building. Good live music. Service at the bar was very quick and friendly. Parking can be tricky, but given their location, that is inevitable.

My husband, daughter, and I went out one evening. Our dinner was great. The hostess greeted us and lead us into the door when we came in. Our server and he was attentive and friendly. The whole experience was great and the 2/$25 make it even sweeter!

I used to live by this bar in college and it was the best for weekday happy hours. Nothing can beat $5 a pitcher for a beer on tap. They usually have 4 or 5 different options. They also have a nice selection of other premium beers on tap. The buddies and I still make a trip down there every few months

In 1974, while I had been a student at OSU, I had briefly lived at 1988½ Summit St., two buildings north of Ruby Tuesday, 1978 Summit St.I visited Ruby Tuesday briefly yesterday [9-26-2018; 44 years later] while I had been been the area for a different reason and learned that Ruby Tuesday had opened in 1971 and has been there ever since.One interesting feature of Ruby Tuesday is a stained-glass window near the southwest corner of the first floor that is still there [nearly 100 years after that building had been built].

Great venue, terrific sound, nice beer selection, too. Only downside is bathrooms are on a different floor from the stage area. Pizza was good.

Baby boy enjoyed game night

Pretty normal bar most of the time. What really sticks out is trivioke on Wednesday. A unique idea that is executed really well, and a must for those who like bar trivia.

I am singing my first live concert there on March 11. I am super excited and cant wait.. :)

Ruby is one of my favorite venues still hosting punk and metal shows in Columbus. Drinks are cheap, they have decent pizza for cheap, and the sound is good for a small room.

Great place

Disappointing. They did sound check for over two hours after the door opened and the pizza was basically totinos. There was no door in the bathroom, just a curtain for one toilet in the womens bathroom and not even a curtain in the mens.

Saw a standup comedy show here, was a lot of fun. The place is pretty dark and grungy. Feels like you could actually see smoke residue on the walls from days long since past. Not totally a bad thing, its character. The pizza was mediocre, beer selection isnt much. Few handles, mostly cheap stuff. Staff was casual, but not rude.

Our Server Kelly at the Grove City location was a Rock Star Server and the New York Cheesecake was Amazing!!!

This is a really fun bar with good-timing music, and a party crowd.

I come for the monthly goth/industrial nights (Church, Friday nights).The bar is a cozy wood paneled old school dive. Lots of character with evident history of the decades its been in operation. There is ample patio space with several tables outside.Beer and liquor prices are very inexpensive. What might be a happy hour price at more modern bars is the standard here. To give perspective, they offer Natty Light pitchers for $5.50, PBR for $7.50, etc. They offer a few micros, but this isnt necessarily a negative.They have some food, but I have not taken advantage yet of any of their offerings.Other pluses are some pool tables in great condition, and a largish dance/stage area for DJs and live bands. Free Wi-Fi too!Overall a great campus dive bar.
