The River Center is a very beautiful facility.Ive attended shows including theaters elsewhere and this place measures up fine. The acoustics here is good...surrounding an elegant ambiance & on the mezzanine level theres a meet & greet area for social to comfortable seating all over.

It is always very clean and is a beautifully kept venue for plays. It brings very modern plays and the older more traditional plays. There are many and varied plays for younger children as well. There are also orchestral and military band presentations. It is an extremely wide and varied agenda of things to choose from.

Rent was very colorful, the cast music/singing were Amazing and Powerful. The overall message of Love, Friendship, and Following your Dreams no matter the cost was simply a Powerful Message especially during this time of tragic loss because of hate in America. Beautifully Performed with a talented and outstanding cast. Thank you for opening the season with this Broadway Show Rent on their 20th Anniversary. Its nice to dress up for the Theatre that many of us just dreamed about being apart of that cultural world. The River Center is a Beautiful Theatre with a wonderful staff.

My girlfriend perform there with her youth orchestra from her younger days and the experience was wonderful...it brought me to tears a little

This place was beautiful and so was the sound. They have state of the art equipment and you really didnt need floor mics. Excellent performance from the choirs.

An excellent venue that is Big City quality. World class level performances are scheduled regularly. I’ve been a season ticket holder for several years and the shows are getting bigger and better very year. A true taste of class for the community.

I love going to The River Center. The people that work there are volunteers but they are friendly and take pride in their work. I saw Gladys Knight there tonight and she was absolutely nothing short of amazing. Im hoping she will be playing in Chicago soon. I have to get my mom tickets. Ms. Knight, please come back to Columbus and.play the River Center. You have just made a life long ticket purchaser.

This is nice venue for a concert . The seats are comfortable and the sound quality is outstanding.

Went to see Gladys Knight. Awesome show. My opinion, CPD was not really directing traffic. I sat at 4 lights until I took initiative and CPD was supposed to be directing traffic. Kept letting the straight lane go.

Great location downtown Columbus. Stag was so helpful they got me the best seats. Actually ran into the member during the show weeks later. She was awesome and I couldnt thank her enough for the details on location. Easy restroom access on the side. Sounds quality was slightly less than ideal. But it is a great theater

The beautiful and spacious River Center located in Columbus, GA, offers stunning views of downtown Columbus and wonderful seating. I have been to the River Center numerous times over the years, and have always been pleased with this location.

Attended the premier of the Overcomer movie, there at, the River Center Columbus (GA), of which was and excellent Christian based movie, that, all should see. The [Kendrick Brothers/ Alex-Stephen & Shannon], did superb job, as they always do- Make God, look good, and inviting to all, that, will except, His [Gift] Jesus Christ; Lord and Saviour Of The World (John 3:16). As for the River Center, it was my first, but not my last. I am proud of the city, and its leaders and planners... They have done and exceptional job. All should visit. God Bless

This place is nice for all types of events. The Girls Inc put on a wonderful performance 4th of July weekend.

Love this venue and the staff. I just wish they could figure out a better, more efficient system for the bar/concessions. Sometimes the lines are so long, I skip it completely. Other times I wait in line, only to get my beverage right when intermission is over. Major disappointment!Perhaps a second bar for beer/sodas only would help??

What a fabulous place for a traveling Broadway show. The guest service is wonderful. People are available every few feet to help direct you to your seat. Parking is very easy. They even have a pre-show dinner option available to order. The variety of shows is great as well.

AverageArmy Band.

Its not Broadway, so of course being a NYC gal Im going to compare all performance theaters to Broadway - but it is a very nice theater in a small sized city. Theres a lovely foundation in the front, parking on the streets as well as garage parking right across the lot. We went to see Rodgers + Hammersteins Cinderella in the summer of 2017. It was very nice, and although I thought the theater itself was rather small, the prices are very good (you definitely wouldnt get those kind of seating in Broadway for anything under $450 before taxes and fees). For my daughter and I, the total came out to about $90, and we had excellent seats. The whole theater was filled with little girls dressed up as Cinderella.

Ive been several times for different events and I have had a nice time every visit. The employees and volunteers are so nice and helpful. The shows are always great and I love that they do things for kids, too. We are lucky to have such a great place here!

Very comfortable with the ability to hear the stage very well.

One of Columbus gems. The Columbus Symphony Orchestra has wonderful performances. The River Center offers a wide variety of productions for fair admission prices.

This venue is the center of an important international trombone institute every summer, the Southeast Trombone Symposium. The acoustics are incredible! Its a wonderful place for both performers and audience members.

This is a magical venue that brings theatre to life to this small, yet amazing town. I highly recommend it. The seats are comfortably sized, its always well maintained and clean and the staff are friendly.

I am from New York and I miss being able to go see Broadway shows and quality concerts. So when River Ctr came and the shows...boy was I ever so happy. The tickets are well priced. My grandson and his mom loves the kid series(I do too lol) and he even has come with me to see some of the other plays and the military bands. Thank you, we appreciate you for bringing us quality shows.

Super great place for band and chorus concerts. You can hear everything !!!! Very very very beautiful and organized inside, also very clean. Came to visit when the Monks were there. Great that different events are held there. the staff is usually incredibly nice and professional. love this place so much

Great venue and concert experience. The River Center CALLED me to make sure I got the email they sent about a time change to the concert I was attending. Very professional organization. Highly recommend attending events here.

Beautiful venue! I have been to see a couple of Broadway shows, and I have never been disappointed. The acoustics in this place is amazing! The entire staff go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant experience. There are some really good restaurants nearby. So, you can grab some dinner and walk to The Rivercenter for a show. You will not be disappointed!

Such a cool theater I went here for Thescon and the place is BEAUTIFUL. I hope to one day get to see a show here again because it was the perfect aesthetic for a show.

I sent here with my Mom to see a show called Hair and other stories. The show was amazing and very eye opening! But the River Center as a venue is superb! Its a beautiful place and every time I go here, I know Im in for a treat! The last time I was here it was for the Miss GA pageant which was amazing!

Went there to watch Prodigy Dance Studio production and it was great. So of the staff there isnt very courteous. The five stars are for Prodigy!!

We saw Motown, The Musical, and I must say it was the BEST show I have seen in Columbus after living here for a year and two months! The music was top notch, outfits were of the period, the groups had their movements and hand gestures down pat, and singing was superb!! The River Center shows have always been phenomenal!

It was a great experience exploring the River Center and everything that Columbus State University has to offer. Highly recommended.

We’ve attended many shows and enjoyed most of them. The theater itself is lovely. We’ve only tried seats on the main floor, but have never been disappointed with view or sound. I do love the variety of shows.

Great venue, though it seems to be a better theater for music events than spoken word. There were times during a recent event that the sound of the music was great but the spoken words were muddled, reverberated. I was seated near the stage off to side of the speakers so maybe I was in an echo hot spot. Overall, a great experience.

Good variety of performances. We with fixed incomes find tickets expensive; so, I attend freebies .

Absolutely outstanding ushers, and so helpful and considerate. And the Gaither Vocal Band was just great. Touching songs and joking with the crowd was wonderful.

Place was very clean. Employee at the Box Office was very helpful. I have enjoyed every event that I have went to at the RiverCenter! I would strongly recommend attending events here!

Purchased tickets for Magic School Bus. Great to have a MAJOR show house in the local area that attracts all the major BROADWAY ARTIST and Shows this is truly a ARTS CENTER FOR ALL. Seating is great and pricing is affordable. Looking forward to becoming season ticket holders.

I enjoyed the Navy Jazz Band, loved the singer, she has a wonderful voice. The River Center for Performing Arts offers great performances, would highly recommend The River Center.

Shows here are Always great. The Ushers who seat you for shows are very polite. I always enjoy the productions shown there, comfortable place!!!

Cool theater, very nice for the size of the city

Attended performances of Fox on The Fairway then Addams Family a couple weeks later. Amazing performances by amazing CSU students. Totally fun and entertaining.

The theater seating needs updating. Felt cramped. The ushers could have done a better job of seating those who were late. It was a BAD experience. I could t even focus enough to watch the performance.

Lovely clean facility, friendly volunteer staff. Easy ticket purchasing, easy parking. Comfortable, intimate setting. Nice downtown area. Quality performance. Cant wait to attend another event in the future.

It is a beautiful and well organized place, but a woman was very inconsiderate of the fact that I had a recent knee surgery and was wearing a very large brace and would not allow me to use the elevator to get out of the building. She was very impolite about it, even though multiple other members of the staff told me I could. Other than that its an amazing facility!

Got to see a few different shows here! All of them were fantastic and the crew always had incredible ways of using the theater to their advantage with all of what it had to offer! I would definitely recommend coming here!

The sound inside the Bill Heard Theater cant be beat. Acoustics are unbelievable!!

I work there and love it. There is barely a bad seat in the whole place. Very friendly staff and ushers. Handicap accessible to all levels. Always clean and pristine.

Being my first visit, I was excited. Very nice venue. The staff was phenomenal. The atmosphere was pleasant and the musicians were of a high caliber.

Beautiful place. However they really need to step up their game and offerings. There are literally no shows on the calendar for basically the entire summer. Would love to see more comics play here.

I love this place!! Its practically been my home for the past 5 years, as I have been a part of YOGC (orchestra in town) and the theatres are absolutely beautiful!
