Was a great trip here considering it was for a Covid-19 test. The line moved fast, and the staff were great.

Excellent experience! The process for COVID testing is extremely organized. Upon arrival, the entire process took, at most, 20 minutes. Impressive!

This is very nice place when they have fair going on other wise you will see lot of empty spaces. In the state fair time they have arranged all the rides and stalls properly so that you can easily visit and play the rides. Facility and parking was it’s very good. Apart from fair there are other major events happen here. Fair is a must visit

Think you dont like fair exhibits? If youre going to the Ohio State Fair, make sure you get to the Expo Center on the north-east end of the fairgrounds. My son and I walked 8 miles on Sunday, beginning at 1pm. The Expo Center was our targeted last stop before taking the sky ride back to the other side, where we parked.We saw student art work that was gallery material; fondant cakes that you never could DREAM of attempting; stunning quilts, crochet work, needlepoint and a vast variety of other types of art that will put you at awe, make you laugh outloud...we even stumbled our way in as judges for the Best Chili Cook-off! This place is good to organize function for large crowd.

We went on a Thursday during the day and there was hardly any wait to get on rides. They had multiple options for food and drinks, and the attractions were great. My family had a great time.

Dragon Lights was amazing! The Natural Resources park was completely transformed. Wonderful light displays plus an incredible performance including traditional dances, contortion and foot juggling. Beautiful cultural experience from gifted performers. Food was limited and very average, but made up for by the sights and sounds.

Nice place. A lot of people. Different activities to do. A lot of food and different flavors. Youll enjoy it.

This place was pretty cool. It was my first year going and I was impressed. Sadly I was there as everyone was packing up but I could tell how magnificent all the barn decorations were. Food was amazing too and the vendors had everything you could possibly need.

The covid test lady was funny and made the process easier

So much fun. The pineapple dole whip are the best. Only wish they had more exhibitors but plenty to look at in the market place.

I came her for Chinese Lantern Festival. It is a must see experience in Columbus, definitely recommend.

An absolute place to go when there are big shows, entertainment, and special events here. Parking prices are reasonable which is always helpful.

Had a blast. Good cheap fun for the whole family. Fair food should have its own category on the FDAs daily suggestions.

I did not attend any of the concerts or events, however my family rode the rides and we had some food. The deep fried buckeyes were so delicious and fitting for our amazing city!

What an amazing light experience! This venue just continues to have fun, family friendly activities for all to enjoy. The Dragon Lights show was no different. We went with my in laws from out of state and had a blast! I think this was the best light show the whole family had been to. We will definitely be back in the future!

We enjoyed our time here. This place is huge. We were visiting from out of town and Im used to being able to use your debit or credit card for purchases. This is mostly cash only and we were not prepared for that. We used the ATMs but there is $5 charge. My kids enjoyed the bulk candy but beware. The cost is very high. A couple in front of me was surprised to see a $65 cost they had to pay for the candy they purchased. Other than that, it was great. My little one enjoyed the rides and the food was great also.

I love the Ohio State Fair! Ive been coming here my entire life and Ive never been let down! Its fun for the entire family and I get to relive my childhood for a short time! The giant slide, Ferris wheel, and elephant ears are some of my favorite must do things! We also went to see Trevor Noah at the Celeste Center, AMAZING!

Always fun to get out and see a state fair. Just wish they had more exhibits on display like Alaska does. You have to be there on special days to see certain things.

2019 the weather was great, the shows where good and I had a wonderful day I was alittle disappointed in the t-shirts this year we always get them as a souvenir but the date was so small you could barely see it. Everything else was very nice the dairy display was really nice with the astronauts and the oz cakes displayed were amazing! I couldnt believe they were cakes. Lol

We had a lot of fun this year at the fair, great deep fried food, fun chickens. Had a great butter display as always. Lots of things to do and eat. Highly recommend for a great time, just needs some better transportation.

We attended a train show in the Bricker building and have gone to a few other events here too. Nice facility. Parking is fairly easy. Restrooms were clean and food service was fast and good.

Chinese lantern festival was amazing,Food that we tried wasn’t the best, even made me sick later on, but the lights were unforgettable. We definitely want to go next year to see how the evolve each time. The show that they put on was amazing too. The performers, acrobats and all the different talents those women possess is outstanding! Highly recommend coming during festival, but just be careful what you eat. And get tickets online ahead of time, the line for ahead of time vs buying tickets there is crazy.

Went to the state fair ! Lots of fun, good food, and fun rides kid had a blast finally tall enough to ride most everything. She even got to ride a camel! Lol .

Love going to see the livestock. Always brings up wonderful memories of my Grandmother and Mother taking me her when I was a kid.

I came here to do my driving test because of covid. This place is so big we couldnt find the testing area to act 15 minutes later. Place is huge

Various events happen at Expo center. One of the big events which happen here is Ohuo State Fair. Out of 365 days you can definitely use your 1 day here even though fair happens every year.

Attend dog shows here twice a year and the venue is excellent. Good lighting inside, doors to unload all around the building. Staff is great with directions and information. This town is excellent for finding great restaurants and shopping. Always look forward to coming here.

The Ohio State Fair is always a fun family tradition every year. From the fair food, to the concerts, special events, and rides there is something to please everyone. The Christmas Story themed butter sculpture this year was fantastic. My only recommendation is the fair committee would consider lengthening the fair. I remember it used to run for 2 full weeks or longer.

Fair was a good experience. Nice for entertainment and fun. Also the fair is a good time pass for children. Atleast once one should visit the fair. Nice weekend entertainment.

Had a great time, didnt get to try a lot of the food unfortunately. I will say it was the most efficient exit out of the parking lots we have experienced. We will be back again and get there earlier to try more food!

This place is great and so much fun. Theirs alot to do and see so plan on spending the whole day their. I would reccomend getting their early as it gets later in the day towards the evening it tends to draw a rough crowd. You can bring your own water and snack which I suggest and theirs always discount tickets for entry.

Easy place to get in and out of, nice parking, plenty of room, good drink and food options, and plenty of restrooms.

The Ohio State fair is always fun. They have a great art show at the Cox Fine Art building

I love the fair. We normally go every year or every other year. Fair food is just different than anything else. It’s always busy & parking normally stinks. Sometimes long lines and people are sometimes rude. But what do you expect at a fair???

Had a great time at the Good Guys car show. Ride the tram and visit the old barns. Great place to take the kids. Every year the car show is the weekend after the 4th of July.

This was a very good experience. It was a long weekend and it was worth to spend to see beautiful lights and shows. Specially the mask changer show was simply amazing. Love to visit this place again, the ambience took me to asian country. Sadly I couldnt try any food but I really enjoyed the lights..

We went here for the equine affaire and we had the best experience, also we go here for the deer and turkey expo it’s all so legitly awesome!!!

We go pretty much every year to the fair and enjoy ourselves every time. This year we went on the last day and watched The McCartney Project. They were great. The food is always great as well. I also appreciate the tons of Troopers everywhere. The ODNR section of the fair is always our favorite. Well be going back every year.Not CCW friendly

Covid testing running smoothly

We went to the Chinese lantern festival. It was beautiful! It is a little worn up close and could oil some of the turning ones but for being outside facing the winter weather they are still gorgeous!! The colors, the lights, the music while you walk is fantastic!

Enjoyed a lot in Ohio State Fair with games and food. Really had very good refreshing time with family and friends. Overall it was amazing

Very poor signage for events. Traffic backup due to confused drivers seeking different events. Finding the correct building was a challenge. Parking directions given at the gate were wrong. Event location was nice and staff were helpful. Food was poor and high priced. Searched and searched for recycling. Finally found one poorly marked recycling bin and it was full of garbage.

Loved seeing REOs concert..had never seen them before..it was awesome

I was there as a volunteer to assist Salvation Army with the Christmas Cheer program. The event took place in the Lauche Building. I was checking families in as they came to pick up their holiday boxes. The facility was great. The accommodations were great. Officers from Ohio State Highway Patrol were there to assist as well. There was plenty of free parking. When the event was over, the area was well lit and the flow of traffic exiting the fairgrounds was easy. I would recommend this facility to anyone considering holding a large event.

So far the biggest State Fair Ive been to. Drove there and had a great time. I recommend this for those who can appreciate road trip!

Went to the Train Expo. Forgot about the $5.00 parking fee. Exact change too! Gave a couple of bills and a bunch of quarters. Got in and had a good time! Lots of toy trains and some brands I had never heard of

Had a blast on senior day. The quilt exhibit was small but really good. The featured artist was so fun and getting a caricature was a bonus, that i will use in making a portrait quilt. The senior services tents were fabulous as was being greeted by Northern Church Residences was a bonus. Had a fabulously great time enjoying the arts, lunch at Schmidts and getting personal attention for medical needs.

Always love the fair. Especially the nature area this year!

The Ohio State Fair is a good deal for families IF you check their website for specials. Coolers can be brought, yet no adult drinks. :)The variety of crafts in the Cardinal Builing to the kids 4-H work in the Youth Center to the animals from all over Ohio to the Market Place will give you a full day of fun!And at night you will enjoy the lights, sounds and music of the rides. The fair does not disappoint with the rides. Rides are for all sizes and thrill seekers.Be sure to remember your parking space. Lots are huge.

The midway could use more adult rides (especially when compared to many European funfairs), but the fair is well laid out, with tons of things to see, and lots of fair food.

Nice venue. Easy to get to and lots of parking. Event attended had plenty of room and nice setup. Concessions were also above average.

We attended the National Model Railroad Association exhibits. My husband was thrilled with all the companies represented, layout presentations shown, and the chance to speak with lots of interested families at the NMRA exhibit as a speaker. He has a life long love with model trains. Oh, the concession stand was huge and varied.

Entertaining place to be if youve never been before! The butter sculptures were pretty cool. Unlike interacting with the animals too. Couldnt find a clean bathroom though.

It was a great time and too much to see.Its the best place for families.

Most pictures were from the ferris wheel at about 9:45pm and it shakes alot!!! I was scared lol and Im a rollercoaster freak. Its in a bad area so youre not really getting what you paid for and be willing to wait an hour on 71 to even get close to the exit. Funnel cakes are always a must at the fair though and the kid rides as well. I recommend coming super early in the morning on a weekday but its now the last few days that its going on anyways. If I could change one thing is that parents stay with your children whether their 17 or 10. Ill only go once a year if that.

Great example of what Fairs should be like. See the butter sculptures. Go see great animals, and then people who raise them for the shows. See talented amateur and professional art. Eat the food and do the rides. Find a bargain and just have fun. The Ohio State Fair has it all. Best experience and feel safe. Thanks to the Ohio State Highway Patrol for ensuring a safe visit. Went to a toy show here and loved it! When you enter, be sure to ask the parking attendant for directions to which building your specific event is being held!

Very clean and much to do. A hugh selection of food vendors, but most are priced so high. I have never seen anyone charge $12.00 for a blooming onion before. Food prices are so high, so be prepared to shell out some coin, for a small family. We happened to catch the John Denver Tribute show, and it was great.

The light display was BEAUTIFUL. The show for what I could see, see once there where so many people standing. Was really good

Stopped by for state fair functions. Good event spaces! The fairgrounds have space for everything including a few places to cool down. Appreciated getting to walk through the stone barn and see some piglets!

German fest. I like the one but home in the Cincinnati area. But over all i had a nice time. Faces in my beer.

Planned a vacation ahead of time and finalized it while there. Better arrangement of vendors should be looked at. Convention Center is a better venue

Love the fair grounds! For any event large mostly clean somewhat muddy if youre going to be outside I would wear boots. Otherwise s great place

We enjoyed the Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival. I will go back when its not so cold in order to see all the lanterns.

I went to the Congress Quarter Horse Expo. All the booths of clothes, boots, collectibles were wonderful and fun. The horses were beautiful. It was a good time all around.

I enjoyed myself along with my daughter. We tried the fried trio, Oreo, nutter butter, and buckeys.it was fried, sweet heaven! Visted the Budweiser Clydesdale horses, my daughter was amazed how big they were. Overall it was nice, a little hot due to the sun blazing. The Ohio State fair was good this year, I went at 830am for opening day was surprised I got a parking space in the 3rd row
