We were here on 11/6/2020. The wines here are fantastically unique with different taste. The owner explains every detail that has resulted in a particular taste. The lady and gentleman both are so caring and although they make award winners wines (literally they have national and international award winners wines), they are so modest. The ambience are very nice: Donkeys, guineas, pond, and vineyard all are comforting. You will keep the wine glasses and the prices are amazingly low even compared to grocery stores and restaurants.

This event was very poorly executed. We got to the event from coming out of town for it so we didn’t know how long it would take to get there so we were early. The lady in charge older last brunette hair right past her ears. Yelled loudly to us and the man that was in charge that they were not open at would not check in anyone till the event time of 1pm. That the staff wasn’t even there and we had to wait in our car. Really?? There is a nicer way to go about this. It’s Texas and almost 90degrees outside and you want us to wait outside at the heat of the day in our vehicle? I said I would sit to the side where it was covered and not bother anyone. She talked about us and the others that also showed up earlier than the event time to her staff after everyone of them came up. She didn’t hold back her feelings about being annoyed that so many people where there ahead of 1pm. We were not offered seats, to purchase food or drinks. Nothing. They have a restroom but told people that had to use the outside port a potty. Lots of people were very upset at the way she was acting. So then it was now exactly 1pm and they said they would check people in and now there is a huge line but could have been handled differently if they checked people in and had them wait till the didn’t was up and running. We checked in and were given our glasses we went in and they had no food other than chips for purchase and only 4 wines. No tastings either. Most winery’s do this and helps people to decide what to order and purchase items to take home.We were sent outdoors like cattle. The alpacas were there outside in a pen. They had some tables set up but there was not enough seating for everyone. The event was very over sold. Also animal planet was there filming theses vets and the aplacas for their show so they took time away from our experience by they were busy with that. When we had time to spend with the alpacas it was only after standing in a long line for a photo opp only. Which was not long at all and definitely not an experience at all.It was over booked, not enough to do. Not enough seats. No food served. A food truck cane way after the event started and had only seafood. So if you are allergic to seafood what are you to eat other than chips. One lady was trying to buy water and some chips and her total was $3.00 and she tried to use her card. The lady in charge rudely asked her you don’t have cash? It cost me money to use the card machine to run your card. Wow!! They said there were not prepared yet they had the same event the day prior.Several people commented the same thing. Some didn’t even purchase more wine or anything else because they were not happy and didn’t want to give the winery anymore of their money. It was a waste of our money and time. It was a let down. I could have gone to a petting zoo and got more time with the animals than at this “experience”.

We stopped in for a quick taste and stayed way too long. The wines were probably the most unique tasting experience we have ever had. First, my wife and I have very different palates. I love dry heavy bold flavors and my wife loves syrupy sweet grape juice with a kick. Well we both loved our tasting. The Audacious was peppery and reminiscent of pepper jack cheese, chocolate, and vanilla hints. My wife found some of the same profiles from Rudy’s Red but delicately sweet. It was an amazing wine. I am not a sweet fan but it was like eating a tootsie roll with an aroma that was irresistible. I would never pour myself a glass before dinner of Ruby’s Red but it would be an amazing finish to a meal with a semi-sweet dessert. If you haven’t stopped in, I highly recommend it. Each wine was unique in bouquet and taste. Make sure you talk to Ken, he knows a lot about the wines and can tell you about where every grape came from. Now if they only served food too. I might have never left.

We arrived way before the vineyard was to open, but the owner hopped off his mower and graciously opened up his charming shop to us. After some Army buddy chat we got down to tasting some local wines. Thanks for making this a fun afternoon for us and helping us to stock up our motor home for our cross country drive.

Great Experience - I have not found a Texas wine that I liked until I visited Peach Creek Vineyards. Usually I like dry white wines, but I discovered the Fireside, which is a sweet red, and immediately found my favorite at this winery. Me and my friend enjoyed the atmosphere and the personal attention so much that we each bought a bottle of wine to enjoy on our visit and another to take home. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

TLDR (Too Long, Didnt Read): Great Scenery, great wines, great price - just go! You wont regret it!Peach Creek Winery was an absolute delight to visit.1. The Scenery and the OwnersFor one thing, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the property is well-maintained. If youre looking for a beautiful date, this is the place to take that special lady or gentleman.I find with some high-end wineries, they turn up their nose at my relatively undeveloped palate, and overall I feel out of place. Not here! The couple who runs the operation is friendly, warm, and accommodating.2. The WineAs for the wines themselves, they tended to be more sweet than dry. Im a sweet wine person (the sweeter the better), but I was shocked that I enjoyed even the dry wines. Maybe upgrading from my 5 dollar barefoot is necessary to really enjoy a dry wine.Have you ever gone to a winery and thought Man, most of these are the same red wine, just different levels of sweetness. Again, not here. The main thing with the wines that I LOVE is that every single one was so distinctive. They each had their own little personality, probably because the owner uses his fruit and fruit from all around Texas to flavor his wines.Sassy Lassy was absolutely delightful, a perfectly balanced red that could honestly go with anything.Amore was my second favorite, a sweet wine that just tasted like happiness. But the one you need to get if you like peaches is Just Peachy. Oh my lord. I told myself I wasnt going to buy any wines impulsively. Well. That idea went our the window when I tasted the summery, fruity deliciousness that was this wine. Made with Fredericksburg peaches, this wine had a bold flavor without being too heavy. The Price:The prices are also decent. The lowest wine was about $16 and the most expensive around $25. Despite the reasonable prices, I ended up leaving with a very empty wallet. However, I also left with a very full heart, so I guess it was worth it!Anyways, check this place out. For 10 bucks for tasting, theres really no excuse to not go try it. Youll be happy you did!

They have a wonderful range of wines, including an absolutely delicious red wine that tastes like tootsie rolls. The atmosphere is very personal with the staff and events in the covered area have been fun every time weve attended. A must-visit for anyone in the area.

Stopped by as part of the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail. Cute, little place hidden off the beaten path. The staff was friendly, but I had trouble understanding one of the young men who was serving the tastings when he tried to tell us about a wine because he somewhat mumbled. But, no big deal. The soup they served as a food paring for the trail was DELICOUS! I had to give this place 3 stars, unfortunately, because of the wine itself. I am not a huge sweet wine fan, but even putting that aside, the wine seemed to lack depth for me. The two wines they officially offered for the TWBT were a sweet white and a semi-sweet red. The white won a silver medal recently, and I found it to be the better of the two for sure. My husband tried a dryer red, and I still found it lacking much complexity. They are a small vineyard, and possibly trying to still make a name for themselves. So, I will try them again, but not right away.
