We went here for my birthday, first of all it took forever to get service. I got a section and was told we had to leave after 40 min or purchase another hookah..we were willing to purchase 2 hookahs, when the girl came back to take our order we were told we had to leave because there was a group of people who wanted to purchase a hookah and a bottle..I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!! They ruined my night.

Staff where polite and friendly. Drinks where good. But needs some TLC with touch up paint on the walls and things and cleaning the seats upstairs. There was trash in between the cushions.

First time hookah... they keep it clean and its a pretty good time!

This happened Sunday 2:51am 7-16-17, So the Bouncers cant tell difference between drunk and tired, my wife was tired and needed fresh air. Talked to a brick walls aka the bouncers. I do security and I deal with people too but Im more considerate and I work alone Where they are lots of people shopping. You gotta train your people better and teach logic, one tall blond door guy, after I asked for he could just get my friends attention said you got a phone right? Yea loud ass music and vibrations from said music and you telling me they can feel or hear their phones?! I understand keep drunks out but I was concerned for my wife and mad, never going again and hope northgate in general ceases to exist.

Wouldnt recommend based off our most recent visit.

Fun place mostly college kids though

When I go to a hookah bar I just want to relax with music friends and maybe a nice cup of coffee, this is just a horrible atmosphere for good vibes to cultivate. I bought my own hookah just so I would never have to go back .

Last night was my first and LAST time going to Hooka Station . The service was HORRIBLE! They’re unprofessional and disrespectful. It was Big Kick it weekend and we delt with RACIAL PROFILING and one of the waitresses with two side pony tails was rude. She told us we had to buy another Hooka after she gave us 7 Hooka tips and saw more than 4 people sitting at the table . We told her every one wasn’t smoking Hooka , it was only 4 but we agreed to buy another Hooka then she went to her manager and said we refused to buy a Hooka. After I went to the manager to let the manager know that we were fine with buying another Hooka she came back to the table and said “ I talked to my manager and you have 10 mins left “ Within that “ 10min” another staff member came over and said we had to move from our table that we bought a hooka at because someone came in and ordered a bottle... so they made us move. She shouldn’t be allowed to work with people in general. I was told she’s been working there for a while and by reading the reviews she’s rude to customers on the regular. I was there with a few attorneys, and aggies that spent a lot of money and should not be treated that way . All it’s going to take us for this staff to run into the wrong customers.Hooka Station needs new management and a new staff .

My daughters and their friends, who happened to be black, by the way, went to this place last night. It was 5 of them. The menu read 4 people to 1 hookah. One of my girls friends does not smoke at all; however they were told that they HAD to purchase another hookah simply because its 5 people sitting at the table. The server DELANEY AND the manager, who were BOTH white and were both informed that ONLY 4 people were smoking. My daughters and their friends looked around the club and noticed tables of 10 that had white customers with ONLY 1 hookah on their table. So theyre trying to figure out WHY is it ok for the white table to have 10 people and 1 hookah and they had 5 peopleAnd 1 hookah (and only 4 people smoking). Soooo, needless to say, the 5 of them were escorted out BY POLICE. Can anyone reading my review please explain to me in a way that MAKES SENSE WHY my children and their friends had a police escort, because maybe my understanding is bad???? The ONLY reason that I can come up with is the manager AND the server DELANEY are racist, evil and miserable people.

Wonderful place, cant get enough!!! I find myself coming back almost 5 day a week.

This place is nothing like original oriental hookah places. Music is too loud

A nice spot on Northgate to hang out and have a drink. I come here exclusively on Wednesdays for Underground Music Nights! They have $3 double wells and a ton of dance music you never hear on Northgate. It reflects well on their management that they are willing to take a musical risk in a conservative town.

My first experience at the hookah station will be my last. My friends and I went during an a&m home football game. We knew Northgate would be packed and were fine with that. It was just so packed in there! All of us have been to bars where you have to force your way around but this was ridiculous. I know every place has a limit and Im sure they reached it. Also the cover charge was $10. I didnt pay for it but my guy friends who did felt like they didnt get their moneys worth.

To be quite frank Im surprised this place is even in business anymore.The hookahs are EXTREMELY unsanitary here. After visiting here with friends (without sharing mouth pieces), I became so sick that I was in the hospital for several days with a massive upper respiratory infection/tonsillitis and a 103 degree fever. Even now with whatever I had in remission, Im unable to compete in any sports or extraneous activities for several months due to internal organ inflammation. I later found out that the city of College Station inspected the Hookah Station and found a layer of black mold coating the insides of the hookah pipes and pipes to the kegs. How the city dropped the ball on this place is beyond me.On a more minor note, its also quite expensive. After splitting the tab on the hookah with a friend, I ended up spending $35 for about an hour of hookah. Keep in mind this is without drinks, and after waiting for 30 minutes after the staff erroneously told us they had a spot open.Do not come here.

My bf and I just went last night/early this morning and he had gone with his friends and said it was alright. I decided to try it out and was surprised we had to pay a cover. We go in and the hookah is 15$, so in total I paid 30$ for everything and the best part was the hype music. The shisha was good for like two solid drags, then after than it was dry as hell with a terrible taste/feeling in my throat. the waitress had attended to us twice trying to fix the burning sensation left in my throat, but to no avail. Im giving it a 3 cause the music is awesome, but the hookah part of this place is boo-boo. I would recommend going to a bigger city like Austin or Houston for your hookah lounging.

I will never return to this establishment! My friends and I went out to enjoy our night, our server was terribly slow. We ordered a Hookah for the table and she kept closing out each check even though we wanted open tabs. We got a sense that she was not very fund of serving us because we were black and thought we would leave without paying our bill so she closed out the check after EVERY SINGLE drink we ordered. At this point we are still very pleasant and civilized. After about 30 minutes into our service, our server mentions that her manager wants us to order another Hookah because there were 5 in our party and 4 to a Hookah. Our close friend just recently had a child and did not touch the Hookah not once. Also our server failed to mention that before we ordered the hookah. The FINE PRINT ON THE MENU STATED 4 people per Hookah not 4 people per table. The table across from us had EXACTLY 8 WHITE PEOPLE sitting at the table and they only ordered 1 Hookah. NOT ONCE did we see the manager walk to their table to address their policy but returned to our table 4-5 times. He began to become belligerent and extremely rude. He REMOVED ALL OF OUR FULL AND UNTOUCHED DRINKS FROM THE TABLE ALONG WITH THE HOOKAH. We were charged for everything and didnt get to enjoy anything. The MANGER who is white then got a random black man involved who doesnt even work for the establishment to convince us to leave because he was black and we were black. I guess he didnt want to deal with us which was extremely offensive. He then brought over 3 additional white men and 2 police officers. MIND YOU THIS IS A TOTAL OF 7 men confronting 5 young calm black women over false advertisement on their behalf. We were removed from the property without our money being returned. WE ALL KNOW WHAT THE ROOTED ISSUE OF THIS SITUATION WAS. I dont need to say more. This business will never receive my SERVICE ever again.

Pretty nice place to go chill and party with your friends, but there was that guy behind the bar, he kept on looking at me and giving me looks as if he wants me or something, his name is TJ I think he’s gay! But I like that ;)

When we finally got the front of the line, Mazen, the man checking IDs, was texting on his phone when he saw I had my ID in my hand. I put it in front of his phone to let him know we are waiting and he said it is $5 for men to get in even though two of the men before us got in for free and without checking their ID. I pointed that out and he said they were regulars, or if you know a regular its free. Mazen did not even ID them to get in which is STATE LAW. They should be more worried about how many people get arrested for no ID (but driving, drinking, etc.) PI, DWI, etc after leaving this bar than if you are a regular or not.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Music is way too loud, and service was terrible. They have a rule where youre allowed max 4 people to a hookah which I didnt know when I sat down. When our table exceeded our limit the waitress let me know of the rule but said if anyone said anything shed let it slide. 15 minutes later the manager showed up and said that hed spoken to the waitress who had told him she warned our table multiple times about the 4 person limit but we hadnt listened (a blatant lie). He then asked if we were going to order another hookah but since our 5th and 6th people didnt smoke we said no. The manager then proceeded to unscrew our hookah and said we had to leave. Absolutely terrible service, would never go back.

I wish I could give less than a star. This so called hookah lounge has bouncers who exact a cover charge and if youre black you might as well not even wait in line because they will say your I.D. is fake. The service was agonizingly slow, our wait was no less than 23 minutes before someone even came over to our table. Not to mention the wait time just to get through the door. After we ordered our shisha it didnt make it to our table for another 30 minutes. This time would have been great to socialize with but under the blaring rap music no one could hear a word the other said. Once we finally started smoking our shisha it was dry, harsh, and tasteless not to mention the hose wouldnt work properly and we had to ask twice for a replacement. Our group asked for fresh bowls considering ours were so awful but were told we would have to pay for the additional ones as well. Fed up with the terrible service we asked for our check just so we could go elsewhere but didnt receive it until the fourth request. All in all Hookah Station is more of a club with the option of smoking some low grade shisha and really shouldnt even be considered as a destination to begin with. If you like the club scene you may have more fun but for those looking for a classy lounge where they can hang out and smoke then go to Houston or smoke at home.

The place was nice. It wasnt a standard hookah bar thats for sure. The bartenders and waitress were Meh to say the least....although there was a really hot bartender named Viet..His body was just...insane. And my girlfriend really wanted to do nasty things with the barback Kris. Overall this a good place. I recommend it.

I have smoked hookah for 6 years in 6 different countries plus in the country where its orignally from. I have been to many places in houston that are good. This hookah station is the worst i have ever seen. You have to wear clothes and shoes like u are entering a club and not a hookah place. The bouncers take money from you to let u in. and the hookah sucks. Bottom line this place sucks dont believe me go check it out for yourself. and who has bouncers in a hookah place? wtf? They are trying to make it look like its a club with hookah in it. lol. and its not a club just a bad hookah place.

If only I had an option to post a 0 star. Place is heavily crowded for the only reason being next to Social Bar. Hookahs are pricey and lack quality, taste. Customer service is poor. Please avoid going to this place.
