I have heard many good things about hurricane Harrys, so I decided to give it a shot.The place is cozy, has 2 decent sized dance floors, and other than the bathrooms and the dust covering the ceiling, has a pretty charming down home country feel to it.Edit: I went back for Mike Ryans concert. It was packed, and many of the people were standing on the dance floor. Very few people danced, but the music was great and the atmosphere was friendly!

I went here when it first opened, and just recently saw a concert there. Very big inside. A little on the pricey side, but had a great bartender that always remembered my name for the tab and what I was drinking. Would be better if my tab was good at all the bars. Had a great time.

My boyfriend and I go to Harrys every Thursday evening to go dancing. We met there about 6 months ago and go weekly for our date night. It is such a great place to do dancing and enjoy good music with good people. If you dont know how to dance, thats okay, you can still have a good time enjoying the atmosphere and people watching!

This was my first time ever two stepping and I was surprised at how much fun I had. It may had more to do with the friends I was with, but the casual and exciting environment of Harrys was definitely a plus.

Its a popular place with a long waiting time. Tickets are not easily available. Didnt notice diversity among attendees. Parking is a huge plus.

WHAT A SHOW!!! Parker McCollum Hayden Baker ROCKED this place!!! Even the High School aged kids were having a blast! We drove two hours for this show and wed do it again tomorrow!

Lively place packed with mostly A&M students on weekend nights. Two dancefloor, one is tends to be crowded with faster pace and more singles, the other is a bit slower with mainly couples. Several pool tables.

Great music to dance to by a DJ & reasonably priced drinks. Compared to other dance halls I’ve been to, the bathrooms could be updated and/or maybe made cleaner. It was a fun time otherwise and will be back!

I just transferred from SFA to Texas A&M and I must say, this is by far the greatest dance hall and the most fun I have had in college! The vibe and music was solid all night! I can’t wait to watch a concert here!

I just get to meet so many cool people and have good time. The dancing music has a certain positive vibe with two dance floors to go around. All girls who come here are really friendly. I like being a party of this hurricane experience.

Its a happening place bringing the famous country dancing here to Aggieland. Its fun to hangout and you have people who are passionate about dancing and also folks who love to chill.

Was there for a work trip event. Its a typical college town bar. I like that its big and spacious. Great staff. Just not my type of hang out spots these days. (Says the lady that is 10 years out of college!)

I am posting on behalf of MY FRIEND- the most respectful, upright citizen the state of Texas has ever seen. The Texas QUEEN got kicked out of this place because the staff thought she was disrespectful. Now was she? I don’t know because I was line dancing but MY FRIEND does not deserve to be treated in such a disrespectful way. *mic drop* thank you and God bless Texas

What can I say... This place is awesome!!! I’ve met so many now best friends here. They’re so many girls (and guys for girls) to dance with if you know how to dance. Seriously, don’t be scared to ask... but also don’t be creepy. They have the best bartenders in town hands down. The music played is mostly Texas country with new & 90’s country mixed in. They also play new and old dance music here and there all night. It always seems like it depends on the night & crowd on what is played; however, the DJ has been on point every time I’ve been there. You will just have to experience it for yourself. Thursday’s are the best if you’re in college and wanna “turn up”, Fridays are normally concert nights, & Saturday’s seem to be the more traditional dance hall night. Take your pick...

Great hole in the wall dance hall. They have summer concerts and its a great place for a good night on the town.

The only thing better about the trip was watching Alabama win if I could have only got the redheads phone number that used to bartend there oh yeah

I usually hate country, but I went here for Aaron Watsons show and I must say the venue was perfect. Bar had reasonably priced drinks and the bartenders were awesome. I would definitively go to another concert here.

Local bar and dance hall, really loved going! Never had a drink there, but the music is always a lot of fun to dance to. Overall very friendly and fun. Some nights ladies can get in free, some night if you have an aggie ring you get in free, and some if you go during the first hour you get in free. Always check the website to see what nights those are. There are a lot of neat traditions here, like playing the Aggie War Hymn and Copperhead Road.

Their facilities were smelly and dirty. Everything else was great!

If you go regularly the music can get a bit stale, but this is by far the best western dancing in the BCS area, from polka to waltz you can walk in and see a little bit of everything. Thursdays and Saturdays are the days to be there, but Friday night concerts are also some of the best Ive been to.

The ladies seems to enjoy Harrys. If youre not an A++ two stepper, head elsewhere. The rhinestone cowboys are like buzzards here.

This is a great place to go out and dance with some friends. They have 2 dance floors that is pretty good size compared to some places I have gone in the past. They play good music hosted by a local country radio station, and the majority of the songs are really good to dance to.The majority of the people that go the Harrys are college students, being its right down the street from the A&M campus. It has a really good environment, and is a great place to just go and have some fun. They offer a lot of different deals depending on the day. From what I remember there are sone nights that you can get in for free if you have your Aggie ring.I only had one weird/negative experience where they charged me for water, where is is normally free. Im not quite sure what the deal was, but it only happened once. Other than that I dont have any complaints about this dance hall, and I had fun everytime I went.

Use to go here every week when I was in school, was always a good time. Take some friends with you and youre guaranteed to have a ball. If you dont know how to two-step, someone there will gladly show you. Beer prices arent too bad either.

Very fun, but I did not appreciate the pop/rap typical club music starting around 11:15 pm. I came here to dance to country western, not twerk. Also, they need more dance floor space.

Harrys is a really cool setup for seeing live country music. They have big name artists come play which boosts their brand. However, they have the worst employees of any bar in B/CS. have yet to meet one who didnt suck

Went to a concert here. I would for sure recommend anyone go see a concert here.I saw roger creager play, amd the show was amazing, however the music was over the top loud. I understand that a live concert is supposed to be loud, bit at times, the music seemed to drown out the words.Almost as if the music was bouncing off the walls. Great place to see a live show. Good atmosphere, and good prices for drinks.

Our favorite local dance hall, although its really the only country dance hall since the Hall of Fame closed (RIP)! Music is great most of the time, but the DJ seems to never be in the booth and has a playlist set on repeat. At that rate Im not sure why they dont just play a Spotify channel and save the money...Were regulars, have been for years and Phillip is the best bartender around! It gets pretty packed after 11 so get there early if you want some dancing room! As long as its open, well keep coming back.

Best place to go two stepping in all of Texas!

First and last time! I did NOT have any drinks before I walked in the door and the extremely over weight bouncer with glasses, side door 9/19/2015, said to me military and firefighter do the same thing. I told him I had multiple deployments since 2006. His response was as followed to get out of his face and then told my buddy to keep me under control and I need to watch myself.It takes a lot to upset or anger me but I am a disabled combat infantry veteran and I have lost numerous friends overseas and other causes from deployments. The way he conducted himself and the exchange of words that took place was awful! Businesses are reflections of the employees and how their employees conduct themselves.

I lived here in college. This place is amazing. Gets crowded after 1030 though, especially on game days.

A lot of beautiful Texans women, you must visit this bar every time you travel to College Station!!

Harrys is a good place to catch a concert from time to time. The atmosphere is OK but it can get crowded during live events.

Party starts after 11 PM.

Decently priced drinks and they have lots of popular country music artist preform here.
