I have been blown away by the caliber of talent here. I have been to many broadway shows, last three productions I have attended here have been on par or better.The actors are all star quality, and one stand out in these last 3 shows was a young man named Kyle Sullivan.I was very happy to see him get a chance to really shine in the theatres latest production 9 to 5.My gut tells me he is a rising star.Anyway Cocoa Village Playhouse: If you havent been go, If you go, well then you already know.

Wonderful Historic Cocoa Village Theater!!Opening Night of Cinderella!!My Husband and I flew in from Minnesota last week to stay at our Timeshare in Cocoa Beach and I looked up things to do in the area and it brought up the Plays that were performed at the Cocoa Village Theater and so we booked the play Cinderella a week ago and we went to see it tonight and it was Fantastic!!The Decor was great in the Theater, they had special Candy and Chocolate treats made up to sell and they had Drawings for a Cinderella Basket filled with Mementos!!Half of the monies raised would go to The Theater and the other half to a lucky person whose name was drawn!Everything was so special and the Play was just excellent, it was a large cast and the Performers reacted well with each other! The Colors and the Themes that they painted the Scenery and the Designs of their clothing was Awesome!Everything was just Fantastic...Wonderful job!!Some of the future Plays look Wonderful also... A White Christmas will be put on at Christmas time and The Sound of Music will be put on later In the Spring!!I feel like booking another flight down from Minnesota to come and see these Plays!!

One of the oldest playhouses around. Takes you back in time to the 30s charm. Excellent set design and clothing, good actors. Decently priced.

I just showed up for 9 to 5. We are season patrons. We followed all the rules temperature checks, masks, kept our tickets even when show was moved months. We were seated right next to someone. When we asked about social distancing we were told they didn’t do that any longer even though they had originally moved our seats for that reason. Now they just limit numbers. Great way to be socially responsible. Needless to say we are not seeing this show.

A gem in the community. A place of tolerance, education, and hard work. Thanks for being such an important part in the community for all!

Went there at night to look around. Its in a great old town neighborhood

I have nothing but praise for the theatre, the play, the staff, but rowdy audience members ruined it. They acted like the play was a rock concert yelling and standing waving their cell phones. I was lectured by one young woman that she resented having to wear a mask because of old people like me who ought to stay home. I did not respond. She and her friend took off their masks and deposited them next to my chair. How cruel can you be? This was at the begining of act 2. I left. A complaint would have disrupted a wonderful show. Saw only half the show.

It has old world architecture and is very comfortable. Very pretty inside. The 9-5 play was wonderful.

Saw White Christmas and it was fabulous. The theater had new seats and the stage production was amazing. The actors were all wonderful and really made my holiday season special.

This beautiful and amazing theater is the perfect backdrop for the wonderful plays & musicals performed here.All of the actors are volunteers from the community and what a talented group of people there are!I have seen many shows here and never left disappointed.There is an expansion in the works that will, no doubt, make this charming theater even better.

Went with my granddaughter to see Into the Woods . They did a wonderful job with the production. Great props and costumes. The singing was very professionally done for a local troup. Well definitely go to another show when Im in the area.

This is a awesome traditional theater for plays. The performers were amazing and the atmosphere was great. If you would rather see a live show than to be sitting in front of a screen then check this place out. Definitely enjoyed it and will attend more plays

We went to see Cinderella on opening night. The casts performance was phenomenal. The costumes were wonderfully and vibrantly designed. The prop changes were executed beautifully. The community really came together and created a fabulous production.The venue itself is something at which to marvel. With rich dark tones highlighted with huge sparkling chandeliers, the atmosphere is sophisticated, yet inviting.

Nice area to visit and walk around. Didnt spend enough time to check out the shops but they had interesting displays in the windows

Great atmosphere, really no bad seats except for maybe the top 3 rows of the balcony. Can still see, but a few blind spots from those rows. Wonderful acting and singing, especially for a local theater. Love it!

What a fantastic place to see a great play! This is such a treasure...Not only do you get to sit in a fully restored historic landmark, but they will treat you to a wonder-filled Broadway play! Every play produced by Our Drama Mama, Dr. Anastasia Hawkins-Smith or as those who know and love her, Stacie. The cast, crew and orchestra are all volunteers as well as the hair, makeup, design, lighting, costume department, you name it, they give from the heart. I know from experience, I did it once. This amazing stuff goes on for years and years. People come and go but the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse lives on. One play eclipses another and if youre lucky, you will score one of the coveted tickets in F Center. We call those the Stacie Seats! Did I also mention my cousin Dan is the best costume designer they have? Hes done that same job for 29 years and hes awesome at it! Hes also a pretty decent actor....love that guy!

Truly talented volunteers (most with formal training & musical theater degrees) pour their heart & souls into great singing and acting, sewing superb costumes, painting great scenery, and playing wonderful live music beneath the stage to put on the most delightful plays in a charming theater.

Beautiful theatre in the heart of cocoa village. Well maintained and looked after. They have a wonderful program for young actors as well as various wonderful shows throughout the year. They always include several holiday themed shows which is a great way to get into the holiday spirit

This is an AWESOME downtown. You walk around this place and it has art. Shops to eat. Meet unique original people. Entire families can come down and just have a blast. You wont be sorry. It rocks.

Its quaint. Its charming. Its small, but not too small. Every seat is a great seat! The shows are phenomenal, the tickets are fairly priced, and the staff is top-notch. I like to think of Cocoa Village Playhouse as our own little slice of Broadway. Were hoping to do a paranormal investigation to uncover their sneaky little ghost that supposedly hangs out after-hours. Well let you know how that goes!

Cocoa Village Playhouse is like Brevard having its own little slice of Broadway! The shows are equivalent! Stacy does an outstanding job consistently putting out great plays! Such a beautiful historic building and friendly staff. I love taking my children or spouse here for a day or night out knowing it will always be a great show and good time!

Clean. Good shows comfortable seating. Well maintained historic building. Parking is only in city lots a few blocks away but is usually available. Nice location in historic village. Nice place to stroll before evening shows or during the day

Stars of Tomorrow is one of the most amazing programs Brevard County offers their youth. These young people have such amazing talent and potential! All Shook Up was a funny production that had that talent fully on display! The decor inside CVP is elegant, stately and absolutely beautiful...this place is a TRUE hidden gem that Brevard County should PROUDLY support!

Great place. Beautifully restored, its a welcome relief from the contemporary theaters. Nearby is a great variety of restaurants and of course old town Cocoa Village is always enjoyable. Parking is generally easy with many nearby options.

Secret gem in brevard. Their trademark is Broadway on Brevard. Which has a double meaning; while the street address is brevard ave people need to understand this is Broadway quality entertainment.Whether it is a concert or a show the experience is enhanced with a building on the national register that has been restored to its former glory and upgraded to support the technical needs of todays entertainment choices.Sets, lighting and quality of entertainment is exceptional.Catch dinner in the village and enjoy the show.

Enjoyed outstanding performance of Beauty and the Beast. Belles talented voice far exceeded expectstions. Cast was extremely talented, sets and costumes were amazingly similar to Disney movie, and acoustics were great. Theater has been preserved in style of grandeur with plush seats, glittering crystal chandelier and impressive decor. Truely an experience to treasure.

The village is awesome. Fun eclectic shopping, great restaurants, live music, fun bars, nice waterfront walking n views.Friendly people.

Went to see A Christmas Story at the Cocoa playhouse and I must say they did a fantastic job adapting the movie to the stage. It was a visually stunning performance by all actors and actresses. They went beyond breaking a leg .......they made it real.......standing ovation to all involved.

I just saw The Little Mermaid and the girl who played Ariel was amazing! It is a shame she broke her foot 4 days prior to opening night but the production handled it very well and even reworked the choreography in her favor. The singing was on point. I wanted to meet the cast after the show but it was getting late and I had to work the next day. I hope I can see another production soon! Im sure it will also be amazing!

Loved the performance of Mary Poppins. A colleague and his son played George and Michael Banks. Very good theater group.
