My grandson loves going to parks so we have visited most of the parks in Clovis. I was surprised at the improvements Clovis has made to all their parks. Letterman park has been upgraded with a nice playground for kids. And a skateboard park for older kids. There are large trees and hills perfect for a family picnic and fun.

Hrew up in area, so I always find a good place to park in the shade for lunch when Im near there.

It is spacious, nice grass, lots of room for kids to run around, easy to see most of the park from the covered tables next to the playground area. The people who go here are friendly and the staff at the skate park are very friendly as well.

I went with a Friend in her wheel chair she flipped over on your side walk. This place is not good for a handicapped person to come go look at the cameras you put up. I think you need to look at fixing this old park.

I got for the skate park. Then I know the rolling grass hills and beautiful tree abound. Great place to have a bbq.

Whats better than a late Spring picnic lunch at Letterman Park?The local US Marine Corps League conducted their annual flag retirement ceremony with able assistance by the Major James D Savage Chapter 1852 of E Clampus Vitus Clampers LLP. The youth group of Young Marines also assisted in the ceremony.The Savage Clampers provided hotdogs, hamburgers and chili beans. The Marine Corps League provided ALL the fixings one could want to make a great burger or dog, including several salads, a selection of cookies and chips, and cold bottled water and soft drinks.Clovis takes pride in its community resources and it was amply demonstrated in Letterman Park by well-groomed green space, clean restrooms and tidy sidewalks and parking areas.I didnt get a count, but a guess would be that about 50 flags were retired today. If you have a US flag that is faded, tattered, torn or stained, please honor the flag and attend next years retirement ceremony. Watch local media for notice, this time next year. Ill buy you a lunch!

Probably one of the better parks in Clovis really took care of city of Clovis does nice with this park bring your kids out here barbecue they got a playground good tables lots of room oh and I forgot they have a giant skatepark

Great park. Downside is there is always a homeless person drinking from a bag and yelling at his imaginary friend.

Not what l thought it should be

I really like this skatepark, its a pretty decent size and not too far from home. However, it can be a pain in the ass to try to skate as it gets FULL of kids on scooters and the younger ones especially don’t understand park etiquette and will snake you. So if you’re a skater, I recommend going during the week when the kids are in school if you can or right when they open on the weekends.

This isnt a bad park if youre into skating. Its one of the few in the Fresno/Clovis area, and Im glad these parks are available for a younger crowd.More than anything, Im saddened by the poor quality of parks in the Fresno area, a city that is routinely ranked lowest for parks in the nation.The bbqs are tiny, corroded, and dirty. There are mud puddles even in the summer. Grass is sparse, and aside from the skating area, there is little else here. While Im glad there is a skating area, it should be much larger.I had a group who had a large meeting here once a year for eight years, and between the loud street noise and ants, we chose to move our location to something better.

They dont allow adulys to use the skate park without a helmet and pads. Ripsticks also arent allowed.

Went for a birthday party it was a very clean park

This park had a fun play structure for kids. It has a climbing wall, rock face wall, slides, etc. Its not uncommon to see a homeless man or two by the water tower. There is a veterans memorial and skate park attached.

Small park but enough room to have fun. Skatepark is awesome and a decent amount of grass including equipment for kids to play on. Only two areas for large parties.

Great area, skate park is friendly. Three Pokespots and a Pokemon Gym. Its been very active there and the people who show up seem nice. Has benches and tables, would be a nice place for a picnic.

Great place to take my dog for a walk in the morning. Usually the park is pretty empty besides those in the actual skatepark portion of the park

Nice park, but why isnt it open until after 10am in the summer time? Earlier hours would provide cooler skating opportunities and less risk for heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

This is my local skate park and I love everything about the park. Today there was a girl working here that legit took all our fun today. Ive been scootering for a year and I know my limits and capabilities and I was planning on learning backflips today! Me and my friend were planning this for weeks and finally we got a mattress to use. This lady didnt let us use this and said it wasnt safe even though its hella a lot safer than doing it to concrete! This girl needs to do her job better and if shes gonna work at a skatepark she needs to let the riders ride!
