A great walking park! Super scenic! My only complaint is the lack of crosswalks at many intersections... i.e. - crossing over from Stop and Shop, etc.

I have been coming to this park for as long as I can remember. Well over two decades and I just turned 30. Anyways its great to have a place where I can bring my son so he can have the same exact fun that I used to have in the same park as a child! Main memorial AKA Clifton Park is the place to go where u can enjoy a nice outdoors picnic with your other half while ur children can play till they fall asleep!

Ive always went there since I was a lil squirt. I take my family there all the time. Its good for walks, light jogs, wheels, pets, all activities. The tank is nice to look at and take pictures.For foods nearby, theres middle eastern, BK, Asian cuisine, a video game shop, and more but it doesnt come to mind.Its in a safe neighborhood so you can go there practically at any time but mind the curfew, if there is any.The restroom facilities are back in function. A nice play for a Sunday.

Went there for a summer evening concert. Lots of space to social distance and area for concert was fenced in.Place has lots of open space to sit and relax or a path to walk around park.Seems to be in a central part of town so you might be able to grab food and relax there.

This is a beautiful open park with wide views of the pond, not overly crowded, playgrounds for the tykes and softball fields...plenty of small fish and turtles

There was a big flea market there. We had middle eastern food at a store across the street. It was good.

Perfect park to enjoy with friends and families. There are plenty of ways to be busy and have fun whether its playing ball, fishing, running, honeymoon, etc.

Nice loop trails around a pond. Lots of benches. They also have an old tank which is pretty cool.

Lovely place to relax, walk the dogs and run. Peaceful and the 3 water fountain add the meditation.

Main memorial park clifton njThere is a beautifull pond with a fountain and many benches to enjoy the scenery. There is also tennis courts basketball courts and a playground for the children its a nice place to visit.

Overcrowded, lack of social distancing and large groups are not wearing masks. People dont clean up their dogs poop so watch your step.

Great trails for walking

Could be cleaner but overall a great place to relax or run. Spring is probably the best time to visit the park.

A lovely park to unwind and enjoy the day. Its Peaceful and quite, clean, and is full with lots of wildlife.

Nice park surrounds the lake in the summer there is a flee market and 4th of July fire works nice open space for rc cars

It was our first time going to an event there. We saw the Crosby, Stills and Nash cover band Wooden Ships Band. They were awesome and the events was great. We will definitely be going to more Clifton events!!

Beautiful park

The place is quite nice and peaceful. Its great for many things such as jugging, walking your dog, there is a school near it if you have kids and there is a cool tank next to one of the trees. Its great and you can touch and hang around it anytime you want. There is also two seconds of a park that is really fun and amazing to hang around. There also is bathrooms there, but there really dirty.there are also many beautiful animals there such as geese and turtles and a bunch of birds. But the only hi g to stopped me from giving it five stars is the fact that the amence pond that is nice looking but is extremely dirty.

Good park ... Needs more service

Very disappointing, last years the park was clean and good maintenance, but now looks like terrible, empties plastic bottles, plastic papers, cigarettes, plastic bags, food and others items. Needs more garbage cans. Police patrol the area. To force the people keep the park clean or get a fine.

Great place to take a breath and relax. I wish it would be a little cleaner in the lake but still a great little spot.

Its a nice city park. Has a lake and a path to walk or ride your bike on. The playground and tennis court could use some renovating but it does have a merry go round, which is always a great hit for the kids. Lots and lots of turtles in the lake. Harmless and fun to watch. A few good trees to climb. Over all its a good neighborhood park if you live around here but I wouldnt go out of my way to go there.

Nice park but have almost gotten run over by bikes one too many times. Try to go early in the morning or later in the evenings to avoid the crowds and rude people who could care less about the people walking.

I love this park. One of my favorites, never overcrowded, the people that are there are so friendly. I work close by. I go on my break and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. Also a section for kids, a jungle gym and swings, picnic tables, and a track for running around the lake. The park somewhat connects to Clifton Public Library. Its nice to check out a book and then read on the bench near the lake. Maybe if there were more stores around it will make the area much better.

Pond needs to be drain or clean, bcse a lot of mosquitos....After that,nice.

I like this park, bout I feel that it needs more games for the kids, they definitely have the space for it and you wouldn’t have to go so far for a nice park for your kids.

I have been walking my dogs for the passed 12 years at Main Ave park. I not only clean up after my dog but I also have taken upon myself to pick up all of the plastic bottles. DPW prides it self on all the trees, well they really dont care for them, from their trucks tire ruts all over the grass. Also, there should be police that drive thru a few times during the day & night. Alot of money was spent a few years ago on the park, you wouldnt know it.
