Nice place to have evening walk. Maintenance is good. Has a very small beach kind of place too, which is great. It is also close to my house so easy to go there.

This is a very nice place to visit. There is a boating area with launch, designated fishing and swimming areas, playgrounds (2), public restrooms, life jackets available most of the time, picnic tables with free standing grills, covered picnic shelter, pay fee at entrance gate. Fee is per car, not per person

It is nice quiet area next to the lake. There are plenty of grills and group seatings. Definitely a great place to hangout with friends outdoors.

I had a fun time at the lake today.twelve mile Recreation Center it was clean well taken care of. The Kids,wife, and friends had a great time picnic tables are clean but there was not a lot of them we got the last one out in the heat so get here early. Has a restroom area that was clean and well taken care of. Also has a boat launch and ample parking.

I come all the way from Greenville with my kids we cook out meet new people its great. The kids have so much fun because and the play groung its good for the kids to play on after they eat and so there not bored waiting to get back in the water.

Currently almost completely empty barring some boat riders.

Great family park. Today 4th of July is busy but if you get here early picnic tables are still available.

LOVE this place! So peaceful in the off season. During the summer for $5.00 a car you can park and pick your picnic table and grill and make a day of it with swimming, hiking, playing on the swing sets and just relaxing looking at the view. If you have a boat there is a public boat ramp as well. I like going in the fall and just sit there and look out at the water. Its a nice respite from the hectic life we live.

A fair sized waterfront park on lake Hartwell, this area has swimming, fishing, picnicking, and boat access. With easily accessible bathrooms and a childrens play structure, the park is great for children. There is no lifeguard so watch your own kids. Thebeach is a little muddy most of the time, but, its a lake yall, its supposed to be. It costs $5 to park, but the money goes for the upkeep and labor. I dont mind paying it. I pay more for impluse buys at Target, and at least this suppots the community directly.

Nice place to take family but do pick up your trash, I notice lake Hartwell is a trash dump, every boat ramp is nasty and the boaters trash it all, no respect.....

Fished this spot after dark for a few hours caught 2 little flatheads off live brim. Some potential here for bigger flatheads will likely be back.

This is a good place to put your boat in the water. Have been a few break ins to vehicles. Wouldnt leave anything of value in the open inside your vehicle.

It wasnt good police writing tickets cause we were parked on side of the riad. Park gate was closed and online it says open 24hoirs

A must visit.• This place is pretty well maintained and into the woods kind of place near by the water.• You can take your boar here, as there is a provision for the same.• This place has the provision for a Grill/barbecue, too.• There are a lot of benches which are pretty well maintained.• The restroom is available here, too.• There is a ticket per vehicle for entry, here.• The park is open and working 24 hours.• I would say a must do and worth a visit.• Overall an excellent experience.

As a family we always enjoy coming here. You have plenty of shoreline, picnic areas and parking. You also have a boat launch if you need it.

This is what us locals call Clemson Beach. I am in Greenville, about 20 miles from there. Awesome place to swim, grill, and boat. Has two playgrounds. Plenty of parking and grills to go around. Costs 5 dollars a car load.

This is a really nice park! We had a birthday party there and rented a picnic shelter for the whole day. The shelter is really nice, well kept tables, large grill, plenty of space for our guests to sit & talk, play some cornhole, and go down to the water. The only issue we had were some rude people constantly trying to walk through our picnic area, set-up at our tables, and use the electricity. We were firm but kind and only a few gave us enough trouble to call the ranger. The ranger immediately took action and helped us out. The bathrooms were nearby as well.I would totally rent again but maybe not on a weekend.

Great place to lay out in the sun. Water isnt to bad either, just not personally a fan of Hartwell Lake.

All around great place to be outdoors. Clean and well managed. It is a daily used facility, no overnight or camping. Great place to bring kids for safe swimming and a local favorite for boaters to launch their boats.

The place is gorgeous we rented a pavillion for a party we had and it was perfect! The only issue we really had was rude people who would just go walking through your party or trying to set up shop at a grill or on the beach that comes with the pavillion that we rented but the people at the front were very helpful getting unwanted party crashers out of there

Absolutely beautiful area. The shelters worked great, the boat ramp was really well maintained and the beach was nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because we were using Shelter 1 and the yellow jackets and bees were horrible. We had it reserved and it would have been nice for it to have been sprayed before having several kids out there.

Great spot for family picnics (playground equiptment is there), fishing, launching boats, or just relaxing by the lake. There are clean bathrooms available to the public as well. However, the $5 all day parking pass is a bit steep.

My aunt rented a shelter for our family get together...they still charged $5 a car for parking which is ridiculous. A person doesnt rent the shelter for themselves. Attendant was very rude when we told her we didnt have cash bc we didnt realize we would have to pay also and said we would have to go see if we could get $5 from somewhere she rudely told us some of our family was there and maybe we could get money from them. Several other family members said she was rude to them also. Thankfully we still had a great time spent with family despite this woman kinda ruining the mood at first.
