Purchased the hydro massage to do with my boyfriend and when calling in our reservation I verified that we would be able to do it together. Two days later when we arrived I was told one of the machines was down and after reading other reviews it looks like it hasnt been working in a while. After touring the place we decided on the solar system experience instead. To be honest, I was bored half way through. This isnt the virtual reality I was expecting as you sit stagnant and the program is dated. Two stars because the owner was nice but I could of went without hearing of his financial issues. Save your time and find something else to do instead.

Peter has a great setup! He was super friendly and knowledgeable! I had a great time with his 737 simulator which was very authentic. I would highly recommend stopping by SimCenter Tampa if you have a chance!

My husband and I visited for his birthday and had a great time. The race car was so realistic he was sweating while driving! We saved some of our money we had left on his gift card so we can go back with our daughter.

We went on the hydro massage with virtual reality of an underwater scene. Its a definite must go again. Its too bad that the second VR headset wasnt working because then the both of us could have enjoyed the scene together, but getting an extra 15 minutes was even better! All I can say is: Ahhhhhh.Cant wait to go again!

My husband and I took our kids here last Saturday and it was amazing! Something for everyone to enjoy! Peter, his wife and Joey were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our 5 kids we brought in. I highly recommend and we cant wait to go back to try more!

The owner and operator was very friendly and knowledgeable. Me and my lovely girlfriend had a great time there for our anniversary. It was so cool flying the 737-800 Boeing simulator. It was a one of a kind experience. Peter the owner is very friendly and knowledgable. My wife and I had a great time trying out the solar system flight simulator they wrote as well. One of the highlights of my trip to Clearwater.

Peter and the staff were great. I Flew an F35 thru the Grand Canyon, following the river snaking around right next to the walls of the canyon. This was a great experience, much better than anticipated.

Had an amazing time! The employee Red gave us an awesome tour of the place and seemed really enthusiastic to talk about all the technology involved! Definitely coming back!

I did the 1 hr. 737 simulator today. It was incredible & real to the T! Peter was a fantastic instructor. This is a must do, in addition to the 737, they have other realistic simulators. We got to also experience some other VR while enjoying an awesome water massage. FYI- This also makes a perfect gift idea for someone. As I received mine as a gift, and I will be back.

First they could not find one of our bookings in their system so we had to call customer service and wasted 45 minuets. The instructor was very friendly, but a hyperactive and during our 737 flight simulations — he surfed the internet with his phone — he was checking out some speakers and other electronics at amazon / e-bay... can you imagine that?! I almost crashed... this place is super amateurs like a video game arcade — you should find a simulator with a professional / real instructor.

Highly recommend and worth every penny. This place is a literal “dream maker”. We did the formula 1 and it is legitimate simulation of what you would feel in real life. Definitely go for the full 60 minutes, so you have time to learn how it drives and then have enough time to try to shave time off of each lap. So much fun.We toured the rest of the simulators and most of them are pulled from real life simulators, for example the 737. If I ever return to Clearwater, we will 100% give this place another try!

Visited SimCenter with my girlfriend to have a go at the 737 simulator. I thought I had a good idea of what to do, boy was I wrong. Peter was there to help me through the whole process of our flight from Tampa to Miami. He did a fantastic job of explaining what to do and when to do it and why it was to be done that way. It was well worth it and we had a blast. 10/10 will return

My Haunted House experience was very fun. This is NOT a group activity though. Your friends will be told to stay quiet and sit on the far side of the room - kinda lame, but I understand.

I had a hydro massage while in a living reef, flanked by amazing fish and sea turtles. a great experience for the scuba diver or salt water enthusiast. My son flew across most of California like a top gun upside dow etc.... worth the visit owner will give you a tour no charge....

I have been a fan of home flight simming for 20+ years and enjoyed my time in the 737 sim. This place has activities for all skill levels and all types of activities. Fly a commercial plane, a fighter jet, shoot things, get scared in a haunted house and many more. Come check it out!

Peter, the owner, is very knowledgeable and is a good instructor. I bought this for my son and he had a smile on the entire time. I was very jealous about his experience and I WILL be going back for myself this time. Peter goes out of his way to show the simcenter and go over the simulators. We had a great time with Red showing us the ropes. We tried some Occulus virtual reality first walking through some fantasy lands before trying syfy stories with zombies and alien worlds. Lot of fun.Then we both hopped into the F-16 simulator and enjoyed the flying over the Florida keys and MIami. The sensation is pretty crazy when you move your head and see in every direction!

Super friendly and knowledgeable guy gave us the tour. Husband flew a jet and I did the haunted house. Id prefer gore in the house, Im no horror virgin, but Ive not ever played a video game so that was cool!

Rip off, did the Formula 1 simulator. Was a terrible experience, too hard to do and the machine made me and my friend extremely nauseous. I asked to change to a different VR experience and was told I couldnt.Dont go, not sure whos giving this place all the 5 star reviews.

I wasnt ready for the experience I had here. You arent going to some arcade and getting the civilian experience of driving a race car or flying a fighter jet, you are in the real deal. The owner, Peter, obviously loves what he does. He takes his time showing you all of the equipment he has to offer, and then you get to roam around and experience it however youd like, going from fighting zombies in VR to a relaxation bed where youre under water.If you want to challenge yourself and see if you really have what it takes to fly or drive, I highly suggest you go to the Sim Center and try it out.

This place is worth a stop. The plane simulation is fun. The formula 1 is fun but hard. Try the water massage table. Or my favorite was the zombie game. You can have up to 3 people with you and the wrapping just keep getting better as you go. Friendly tip: shuffle your feet.

Just AMAZING! Peter built the 737 simulator from the ground up using Boeing approved software. He is super knowledgeable about the simulator and it’s procedures. It’s the real deal and I highly recommend this for any aviation enthusiast!

I love sim center because they were clean and organized. Peter (my 737 instructor) told me how to fly the 737 like any commercial pilot would do. And I really recommend doing 1 hour than 30 minutes because you can fly to lax to las or any route that is 1 hours. Very Satisfied

I had a lot of fun here for my birthday. I am a flight sim enthusiast and their 737 sim was a lot of fun and was very professional.They do use Flight Simulator 2004 (FS9) as their son of choice with the PMDG 737NG and loads of payware sceneries, weather, and texture add-ons.You can also bring in your own flightplan to use on the 737 simulator, the flight is your.choice, just be sure to base it on your purchased time allotment.

This place was awesome, I did the F16 simulator for an hour and my cousin did another hour, never stopped having a great time the whole session. Our instructor Sean was great and the owner was a really funny and interesting guy to talk to. Very friendly staff and great simulator. You can tell they really love what they do and know a lot about it. I plan on taking my dad there for his birthday soon.

My kids had so much fun with the VR system,the pilot simulator was very cool and fun for them. My 14 year old also experience a formula one racing car simulator and he was very happy with the game. Our 11 year was playing the VR Zombie game and he was sweating from the action that game had. A very fun experience.

Got dragged in by the owner and we politely listened to his pitch and experienced some of the simulators (overpriced and overhyped). The owner was rude and overbearing, and then after exchanging our money decided to ARGUE with me about climate change and politics. Seriously guys. He raised his voice, interrupted me and would not stop talking about his opinion (man-splaining at its finest). He even had photos and links pulled up and ready to challenge me about it (during casual conversation I told him I had a degree in Environmental Sciences). He asks people to give this place a 5 star rating so dont be fooled by all these reviews. Spend your money else where. This guy is unprofessional and followed my friends around being creepy and overbearing. During the haunted house simulation, he kept coming in and interrupting the experience. Go somewhere else.

What an amazing experience in the 737 simulator for two hours. I was completely overwhelmed with the reality of the the experience. I expected juvenile gaming, or typical flight simulator and there was nothing child like about it. Absolutely fantastic.

We arrived and Peter (the mind behind the magic) personally showed us all of his simulator machines and creations. We ended up buying time on the virtual reality space exploration. It was a lot of fun and a very unique experience that everyone in the group was raving about.We had to wait for our chance on the simulator due to a scheduling conflict and Peter and his staff were beyond hospitable to our group. They allowed us some time on their water massage tables and ever took us for a demo of their 737 flight simulator.Our family had a blast and would highly recommend this for small groups and couples looking to escape the beach heat and have a blast for a few hours.

Our scout troop came here and we had an incredible time. I dont know who had more fun, the kids or the adults. This is thrilling for racing buffs, flying buffs, and space buffs. Youve GOT to try the 3d goggles and take a trip into space. Unforgettable!!!! Cant wait to come back again.

My husband recently enjoyed the 737 sim experience. He thoroughly enjoyed it. The only negatives I could think of was that it was pretty warm inside, peter came off a bit rude and customers came in and would interrupt during your sim experience.I loved the fact that there was a cabin attached to the cockpit to allow family to watch.

My wife got this for me for a birthday gift- so glad she did. Will definitely do it again. Always wondered what the pilot of a large aircraft did to make it fly. Guess what-NO ignition key. The people at the SimCenter are very friendly and explain the operations of the system and actually built it themselves. This is a much do adventure if you like flying or are interested in planes.

The space exploration simulator was unlike anything Ive ever done. Absolutely stunning! As a career educator I have experienced every type of recreational and educational activity in the Tampa Bay area. The Sim Center experience is unparalleled and top notch. Peters enthusiasm makes every action a blast. This really is a hidden gem right here in Tampa Bay.

After more than one hour on the F16 flight simulator setup I remained very impressed. Bring your A-game. Multiple settings make game very challenging and realistic. Enthusiastic and very knowledgeable staff member showed me how to operate controls and did a great job training me on F16. All other Sims I walked by were extremely elaborate with functioning controls, indication panels, MFDs and other displays in high detail. F1 , f35, and airline, simulators looked impressive with the gigantic displays and overall hardware rig setups. I only had time for the F16. I see this store as an ultra high tech arcade for sober adults looking for a challenge or real world training. If I am in town, I will be back. To all, good luck finding another place like this in the state or country! Truly a gem. Worth the coin. Show up ready to learn.

After looking for something different to do in Clearwater, Florida, I saw SimCenter on Google. You have to look carefully to find the facility but it was worth it. It was difficult to decide which simulator to try but I took on flying a F-16. With Joe by my side explaining all the controls, we began the simulation. Between the sound effects and looking at the realistic screen, to the closeness of being in the cockpit, I began my flight. It was only for 1/2 hour but felt like much more. It was an intense experience and one I will not forget! It was as if I was in the ultimate video game! I highly recommend this adventure. On my vacation I plan on returning to the SimCenter for my next adventure! I give SimCenter 5 stars!

Flying the 737 simulator from Tampa to Miami was the most fun Ive had in an airplane in a long time (even though it never left the ground). The flight deck is absolutely realistic and the only think missing was the motion. I would highly recommend this experience to any aviation enthusiast. The F-16 is next on my list...

My experience at SimCenter was so unlike everything else, it totally blew my mind! Where else can you pilot a passenger airliner? Drive a Formula 1 race car? Travel to outer Space? And do all this at one place! All the simulators are very realistic and detailed, and they are all great in a different way. I didnt try the fighter planes so I cant talk about those but the Boeing, the race car and the space simulator are all fantastic and I will keep raving about them for a long time. I see a huge educational potential as well, I feel like all school-aged kids should get a chance to experience these things. Dont miss visiting the SimCenter if you are in the area! The guys were very nice and knowledgeable too!

Peter and the Outer-Space Simulator were both absolutely incredible. I love astronomy, and almost cried happy tears during my ride to be seeing something so amazing. Im going again this weekend to do some more exploring and I cant wait!

We visited the SimCenter after finding their ad in a tourist map. It sounded like nothing I have ever done so I didnt really know what to expect. After getting there I decided to try the space simulator. (It was not an easy decision because all the simulators look totally realistic!) It is really breathtaking because it feels like you ARE out in space. Hard to describe the experience, you really have to try it. I highly recommend. I wish my son were here, I imagine it would be very educational for kids as well.

One of the best entertainments in the Tampa Bay Area. This place has amazing flight simulators and it is so real like you were actually flying a real airplane. I also loved driving the Formula 1 race car. You have to try them all. It is not only fun for guys but for girls, couples, father and son dates, and they even have a conference room for parties, like a bachelor party or a singles night. Also the location is very accessible and they have plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Great experience.

I want to go back and try the space vr, haunted house, coral reef water massageWe had a great time with the F16 and the formula 1. There are more vrs i did not even mention yes you could spend the hole day there and it would seem to feel like 20 min.

I have wanted to try this place for a while, so me and my family went there and the door was locked and there was no one in there so I called and the guy said that the person on duty was going to get dinner and he would be back in a few minutes. So we shopped for around 10 minutes and went up and no one was there so we came back in an hour and still no one there. I called and no one answered aslwell.

My fiancee and I had a great time at SimCenter. We had trouble deciding which simulator to try as all of them looks totally cool, finally we ended up doing a race against each other in the race cars. The Boeing and the spaceship simulator also looked fantastic, we just couldnt afford doing all of them this time. The race car experience was more difficult than we anticipated, but we didnt mind learning and the instructor guy made it really fun. I must say, I have a newly found appreciation for race car drivers! It looks like the lazy peoples sport but it is hard work both physically and technically. A very interesting and fun experience, thank you SimCenter!

Wow … ever wanted to drive a race car, fly a plane or travel into outer-space? This may be a long review but well worth the read. Well now you can and its so real its freaky. This may sound like an ad but this was my actual experience. My Wife bought me these experiences at the SimCenter Tampa Bay because she really wanted to get me something completely different and memorable … and this was it. This is not arcade style rides, this is as close to the real thing as you can get. I did 20 minutes of the Formula 1 race car and I was sweating. It was as if I was in a real car, your feel the acceleration, the curves, the roughness of the pavement and the skidding on the grass when you go off the track (I did that a few times). You steer and shift using paddles (not a clutch if you cant drive standard). The Space simulator was amazing! It was a narrated 3D adventure (you are wearing special goggles) into space visiting the moon, sun, mars, saturn and other planets. You can actually see the spacecraft you are in, the cockpit, the nose, the thrusters … and even your breath when it was cold!!! Wherever you turn your head and look in that direction you see everything as if you were really there. I am going back again to fly a Boeing 737. The simulator duplicates all the switches, dials and gauges in a real plane, its the exact cockpit of a plane and everything works and is active. You actually take off and land this plane. I can hardly wait! There is also two different jet fighter simulators if you like speed. If you ever thought of doing something like this, DO NOT hesitate, try it out, you will not be disappointed. The owners, Peter and Edit are amazingly friendly and helpful people. Your experience and fulfillment are of paramount concern to them and will ensure you have a great time. Amazing customer service. Will without hesitation recommend the SimCenter Tampa Bay to everyone I know.

Looked really cool, would have done it but it felt like it was a little to expensive for what It was.

We had a blast! The staff was very helpful and spent extra time helping us. We learned some of the history of the business from the owner. Peter is very knowledgeable and has invested countless hours to provide a fantastic experience. I would recommend this to anyone of any age. He even persuaded my 13 yr old daughter to drive the formula 1 sim and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. I will definitely return when Im in the area again.

Owner also built all the simulators himself. This gave me pause, but he is an absolute GENIOUS this was absolutely one of the most fantastic places I have ever been in my life (& Im over 40). There is not a question about the equipment or subject matter the owner can not answer. The experience is increadably educational. If you have a kid that wants to know anything about space or about how airplanes work or gravity keeps a formula one car on the road, COME TO THIS PLACE!

A M A Z I N G !I tried the Space 3D Journey with my boo and it was awesome! You wear a virtual reality contraption on your head and sit comfortably in an office chair and you let your handler take care of the rest.You look and feel like youre in outer space. The entire galaxy is mapped out and there are few fictional areas, but they do exist in real life, just not where they are specifically on the map.The man behind it all is an astrophysicist and is very knowledgeable about well, anything to do with flying, falling, and floating!for $75.00 its a 30 minute experience and its well worth it. If you love science, or math, or outer space you should definitely check out this center.They also have some other cool items like an indoor racecar track for toddlers, a racecar attraction for the guys/gals who think they can handle it, and a 737 flight simulator (really feels like youre in an airplane!). My uncle did the 737 simulation and acted as pilot. I fell asleep after a bit-----now I know I could never handle flying an aircraft! With the 30 minute time limit/frame its tough to fly anywhere far, so you might get a journey from Tampa to Orlando, or possibly someplace(s) else within similar proximity to each other.The inventor behind all of the aforementioned creations is working on something new as well! Definitely keep an eye out for when its revealed!Happy travels!

The equipment is amazing! Took an hour class, and I do not regret a single minute of it. He took me through all the controls of the 737, and the F-16 was amazing!

For a simulation lover like myself, this place is a playground. Ive tried their 737 simulator once and the F1 simulator twice... Both are excellent! The guys that run the place are super friendly, too! If you are into simulators for either racing or flying, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

I tried the VR Haunted House..... involved a lot of walking thru hallways, around corners, up and down stairs and it made dizzy and almost got sick afterwards (couldve been the drinks I had beforehand!) I didnt think it was that scary...they couldve had a lot of more things jumping out at you and floating objects.

I just took the space simulator experience & it was mind boggling! I was on an Actual trip through the universe in 3-D. It is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.You dont have to be a space enthusiast to enjoy this incredible experience, but whatever you do, DONT MISS THIS!

OVER THE TOP!This, by far, was one of the top 5 things I have ever experienced in my whole life! I chose to fly a Boeing 737 from Miami to Tampa. I have no prior flight experience, other than the many miles sitting in the cabin as a passenger. I have always admired the cockpit crew who seem to effortlessly get us safely from one city to the next. My curiosity stemmed from the constant communications, radar & routing and how the pilots put all the info together to create a safe flight.Woweee Wow Wow!!The radar is real time, the weather is real time, the tower chatter is real time, the cockpit is identical to a real plane. My hour session seemed like about 12 minutes. My instructor, Peter, had me flipping switches, adjusting flaps, resetting coordinates to account for altitude changes and everything in between. He had me take off and even after the horrible job I did, he had me land the plane.And that was just the Boeing 737 experience.SimCenter had many different experiences available. Formula One, Intergalactic travel and fighter jets are available. And if you have alot of friends in the area you can rent the whole facility, have it catered and enjoy an entertainment experience like none other.Simply put, this is a must do in Clearwater Beach!

This place is amazing! This company just moved from Dunedin down to clearwater and offer some of the best simulators.I came in with 5 people and did an F-1 simulation (race car), an F-15 (jet) simulation, and a 737 (airplane) simulation.The best, for me, was the 737 simulation. We flew from Honolulu to Hilo. The simulation is absolutely amazing and a must-experience.
