It was my first time going to one of these and I was looking forward to it after years of wanting to do one and I couldnt be any more happy with my experience that I was did the pirate ship room had a great time definitely got the brain juices flowing with all the great riddles and clues to win the game definitely want to go back and do it the other rooms and experience everything that it offers if you are looking for a team events family outings or just some fun with friends this is definitely a place you want to check out if youre in the area. The staff was excellent with everything they did maintaining social distancing and having everything clean and sanitized great job guys.

Absolutely a blast. Great price and a lot of fun not easy. You have to work as a team. We escaped with 5 mins to spare

First time in an escape room today(davinci code), and we all had sooooo much fun!! This company is very accomadating, and our host Red was totally awesome! I cant wait to do this again at this same location(different room ofcourse) because it was such a good experience:)

We did the pirate room and the experience was very good. Alex was our game master and our party of two relied on his guidance and clues. The dark red color was difficult to see in low light, so that made it hard.

While trying to ask for details over the phone about when certain rooms opened and pricing I was met by extreme rudeness and was essentially hung up on. I simply asked for when a room opened and was told that my question could not be answered because it was too confusing (which is only 1 thing in the most frustrating 6 minute conversation I’ve had). I have not tried any of the rooms recently enough to give an accurate review so they might be splendid and this review does not reflect that. However, the customer service is absolutely dreadful (at least over the phone).

First time doing an escape room. Nick was very nice and gave great instructions. We did the area 51 and it was challenging.

Have never done an escape room until today, but apparently this one is unique in that you can leave the room and arent trapped during the puzzle. Thats really cool for people with anxiety or other issues.We did the Sector 8 one and it was very cool, and a pleasant amount of difficulty. Not too easy and not frustratingly impossible.The staff was also awesome! Ill be going back for the Zombie one for sure.

This was one of the best escape rooms we’ve been too. It was a groupon we stumbled upon on our family vacation and was a great decision! Staff was SUPER friendly and helpful over the phone and when we got there was nothing but accommodating! We signed up for one and since there weren’t any other appointments we were able to switch rooms to accommodate my mom and sister not wanting to go outside (one is outdoors walking around using AR and sounded super fun just not in the 90° of that day). Once we finished the room they both came in to show us how the puzzles were supposed to go. The 8 of us kind of split up into groups and did things a little out of order but we got it and ESCAPED to leave this review :-). Overall had an awesome time and I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone! Totally a must do on anyone’s list if they have the time! And when you’re done you can go downstairs to the Brown Boxer to have a drink to celebrate lol

Signed up for the outside AR mystery game on Groupon, known as Operation Mindfall, where players are given an iPod, a briefcase, and a BT speaker and are directed to solve clues in the surrounding area (roughly a 10x5 block neighborhood) to save the world from the spread of an evil corporations virus. The clues are located at GPS points on the iPods map and when the codes are entered, an event on the iPod often occurs. Unfortunately, parking is metered with a two-hour limit nearby and we ended up reserving on a windy, cold, rainy day; we were soaked and cold, and our 2-hr parking limit was up half-way through the game. We quit and headed back shivering, and were not offered any gift cards or another day to offset the cold, wet experience which on a sunny day wouldve been great. Hood thing we left when we did though, as the Clearwater parking officer just pulled up as we were leaving the street!

Escape room was great, but when a member of the party accidentally pulled something up that had a red dot on it the worker there got very aggressive verbally with us and when we mentioned his attitude would reflect his review he said loud enough for the whole party to here F#%& your review.

Decided to do the escape room on a rainy day in Clearwater, and we were not disappointed at all! This is the first escape room my two friends and I have ever done, and we had a great time. We did the Sector 8 and would totally recommend to anyone in the area. In fact, we had so much fun that we are doing the Subway escape room tomorrow! Great atmosphere, well-thoughtful puzzles, and a great host. If you’re in the area, give it a try! Worth the money.

Absolutely amazing staff & a fantastic time. They truly wet above & beyond to accommodate our party & made sure we had a great time.if i could i would give them 10 stars honestly . i dont usually leave reviews but i am big on customer service & when its that good i want to show my appreciation, due to circumstances, traffic, people getting there late, gps putting us a mile in the wrong, having to walk all that way in the sun etc my fiances b day was almost ruined but thanks to the staff, they truly saved the day. Oh yeah & the experience was totally awesome, we did the pirate ship & it def made u think to solve the clues, the 6 of us worked together & made it out with secs left. Highly recommended

We came for my boyfriends birthday with the family, we wanted to try something different, and wow, What a blast! The staff was friendly and very helpful! We did the subway room and it was awesome! We decided as a family that will definitely come back and try ALL the other rooms! Great idea for clearwater beach to get a break from the sun;) thanks Drew and staff for making his birthday a memorable one turning us into an escape family!

This was the 1st time there with 5 girlfriends. We weren’t quite sure what to expect. Drew was great at explaining everything & We had a blast! We worked well together & escaped with 8+ minutes to go!

Pretty neat rooms, heavily themed. Passable but really makes you think. Our group was 2 experienced people.

Our girls trip was ended with a escape game on the pirate ship it was so much fun and the owner was great to help us too! Had a great time and will be back next yer

We came to Clearwater Beach as a family and was tired of the sun. We did the pirate ship as a family and had a blast next year we will be back and do another room. Drew was so helpful and kind and makes you feel welcome!! Must do if you go to the beach!

We did the Pirate Ship and it was awful awful AWFUL! Six of us crammed into a very tiny room. This room seemed to be designed for an absolute max of 3 people, but six of us were crammed in there. The puzzles are not clever as there really isnt anything to solve, just trial and error guessing, making it the worst escape room Ive ever done. There were only maybe 8 puzzles to solve, so with 6 people, theyre is a lot of standing around with nothing to do, and guaranteed at least one in your group will feel that they were not able to contribute at all. There are so many better escape rooms in the area, visit those instead. Absolutely do not recommend! The ambience was nice. Again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you want your whole group to have fun.

My company held a team building event here and there were 25 of us. It was over the top fun working together to escape our rooms!

My husband and I have done about 30 rooms and the pirate room is in our BOTTOM 3 as worst rooms we’ve done. We found ourselves wondering around looking for blood as instructed that you could barely see anywhere. Figured out a clue and expected to be led to the next and ended up just wondering around with no direction. We were excited to try it and expected it to be better since it’s one of the more expensive in the area. Def not worth it. There are so many better ones especially in Largo. There was only 2 of us and we were just standing around at times. Not really any puzzles, just pulling on stuff and trial and error.

The production design at Escape Room Clearwater Beac did it again with extremely immersive sets, lighting, and sound. Absolutely the best of the best when it comes to detail and story themes. The bar has been raised once again. Newest technology and puzzles! Good luck!

My husband and I booked this escape room to enjoy while we were on vacation. This was made at least 5 days in advanced. We were not aware the the particular scenario needed a minimum of 4 people. We were never contacted (email or via phone) to be informed of this. So when we showed up to do our escape room, we eventually found out that they had booked a larger group instead, and we were not able to do a room - even though there were other scenarios that we could have done with just the two of us. We were refunded our money. However, this was the last day of our vacation and we planned our whole day around doing this (we were staying about 45 minutes south of Clearwater). We should have been either contacted or been allowed to do a different scenario at the time of our reservation/booking.

Terrible terrible terrible would never recommend anyone to go there we had literally no fun puzzles are mixed up i would recommend anyone to go the the actual escape room in downtown Clearwater literally a mile away and your actually going to have fun.
