Big Oak Park used to be a beautiful park. It amazes me how this park has changed. The grass and shrubs are constantly over grown. The groundskeepers are not qualified to do a professional job. They mow the lawn with the blades up acting like they are working. Our irrigation system is needing repair badly but instead of fixing it the groundskeepers just cap off the broken pipes. That’s because the groundskeepers either don’t know how to fix the sprinklers or maybe they are just to lazy to fix the problems. Our trees around the creek are dying do to lack of water. The groundskeepers have either shut off the broken sprinklers or capped them off instead of fixing them.Many residents have complained to Management how bad our grounds are looking. It falls on deaf ears nothing gets resolved. Our streets have not been cleaned since our last groundskeeper was replaced by three groundskeepers who knows nothing about taking care of commercial property. In fact when fall gets here and our trees loose there leaves I’ve seen the groundskeepers picking up the leaves with a household dust pan. Pitiful when they have a mulching lawnmower to do the job for them. Without the blades being down it will not mulch the leaves.I and many other residents observed the groundskeepers blowing the leaves into the county creek instead of putting them in the disposal dumpsters like they should. They pile up the leaves in the RV storage area instead of disposing properly.The pictures posted on this site are older pictures when the park was being maintained properly by one of the best groundskeepers they had hired. The owners should hire him back he took pride in his work. I can’t say that now these groundskeepers needs replacing.

People come, and the SMART ones,leave. On the other hand, it has a great pool, (heated) in the summer months? This is California & a large jacuzzi, these are the best kept pools Ive seen in my life. Ive never been in them. But I wouldnt open my eyes under water.

A mobile home park for seniors. It has a community center, pool, and hot tub, as well as a beautiful green belt. Its quiet, well maintained, and close to shopping

Hate, is a very strong verb. It is a well kept, quite place. Leans towards the elderly, but it seems to be room for a younger Residencial community, but it is a 55+ residents. If you can put up with water mains breaking, about 5 times a year. And HARD Water that ruins the fixtures and stains toilets with brown streaks. You really need to be on your cleaning game.
