Great place to see a concert. The acoustics were amazing and it was easy to see the stage even from the balcony. The event staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was there is hardly any leg room between the rows.

I saw Ms. Lauryn Hill in concert and had a great time! The venue is easy to find, easy to enter, and we found our seats in no time! The security check was simple and non-invasive. The staff was friendly and courteous. Even after the show started they could be seen with flashlights assisting people to their seats. I dont think Lauryn was happy with the sound, but we heard her very well. So no sound or technical complaints from me. The next time an artist I enjoy comes to the Taft Theater, I wont hesitate to buy tickets.

We went to see Swan Lake Ballet performance at the Taft Theatre on a Thursday night. The Taft is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. It has beautiful art deco architecture and is within walking distance from many restaurants in the area. We had 3rd row seats to the left of the stage. It was indeed an intimate experience. I look forward to seeing more musical performances at this Historic 1928 Gem.

I cant say enough good things about the Taft Theatre. After the renovations it was brought back to its former glory. A beautiful part of Cincinnati history. We love attending The Childrens Theater performances at the Taft Theatre. There is truly never a bad seat or a bad performance. Grab a Bobbonerie cookie, bottle of water, and sit down and enjoy the show. Thank you to the staff for always making every night we attend the Taft Theatre truly memorable.

We saw That Adventure Zone here last night. The theater is a beautiful old building with tons of beautiful murals and lovely architecture. The seats are a bit narrow for modern audiences but that is really not a big deal. The acoustics are good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to see a show.

Easy to get to, right on 5th. Parking all around in lots or garage. Good sight lines. I thought the sound could be better. We sat in balcony. Leg room was a bit tight. NO elevator for those who needed it. Place could have been cooler. Not my favorite place to see a concert.

A cool theater with some really great acts that pass through. The lower level seating is much more comfortable than the balcony area. As a tall person I had a difficulty time fitting in the balcony area seats, but was able to make it work. Plenty of parking nearby and a lot of dining options as well. The parking garage closest is almost twice the price as others on event days.

We had our first experience at Taft seeing A Charlie Brown Christmas and it was great! The service desk was friendly and all of the door staff were pleasant and accommodating! The theater itself is beautiful, but the seats are super small! Super super small. (To be expected, but in a review, it needed to be mentioned!)

I’ve been to the Taft multiple times. This year, I have attended a few sold out shows. That’s 2,500 seats for those unaware. Even with that volume of people, the Taft is a great venue. Easy accessibility in terms of parking (there’s a huge parking garage behind it so very convenient). The staff is friendly, the chairs are pretty comfortable (minus those drink holders anchored to the ones in the front of you, but no seating is perfect and I’ve had WAY worse). The venue is always clean. The sound is fantastic and I truly don’t believe there’s a bad seat in the house. Love the Taft.

This was a lovely little theater. When they first opened the doors we got in right away, very fast. The staff was super friendly. The concession stand is cash only but a lot cheaper than at other theaters Ive been to. I used the restroom and it was very clean. Definitely recommended for a good evening out!

The Taft is a beautiful old theater. The seating has been updated (cupholders!) and is comfortable unless you have long legs. There are plentiful restrooms and concession stands, and you are allowed to bring your refreshments into the theater. The acoustics and sound system are up-to-date and good. The gold-leafed ceiling murals and other pracenium decorations glowed beautifully when the house lights went down, making it easier to see the mural subjects. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

It is a great venue for classical or jazz, but they seem to care more about potential revenue than what is a good fit for the venue. If you are going to open a venue for a country concert you have to be prepared for the attendees and their expectations. As they obviously did not I will be back. It became rather uncomfortable as no one was told in advance that it would not be a normal concert experience and those who wanted to enjoy themselves as expected were reprimanded by staff.Even the band had to ask staff to stand down to allow people to enjoy themselves.A serious disappointment!

Really cool environment. Very historic theater with a lot of character (look up at the ceiling in the theater). Sounds acoustics were fantastic for our comedy show. It’s still cash only (I mean, come on it’s 2019) which caused an excessive line at the ATM and longer than should be concession lines. Overall a great theater for a comedy show.

The theatre is a bit old, though not run down. I went for a music concert there. But I dont think it is the ideal location for concerts as the acoustics were bad. The lighting was good. The air conditioning was not functioning well and we were all sweating like pigs. The seats were small and cramped. I am not sure if you pay more you get better seats. Its a good place for small events but definitely not music concerts.

Taft Theater is a fine venue with helpful ushers, however do not use the adjacent SP+Parking. It has just one exit lane with a single automated teller. Audience members trapped there waited in line for an hour just to pay and exit. On big event nights, they need cash-only parking lot attendants. There was also a back up afterwards at the parking lot elevators with no option to use the stairs.

Nice venue overall. Ive seen a several shows here and the view of the stage is good no matter where youre sitting.
