Nice venue. Images are from the lawn seats. Views have improved significantly since their renovation work a few years back. They seem to do a nice job bringing in a variety of acts, and I have never had an issue with staff. Be prepared for some lines for bathrooms during sold out shows.

This place is huge. I do love going here for shows. last time I saw the twins of evil tour. I had lawn seats which is behind the actual covered chairs. the sound quality was great. and I was just as excited to see Manson as I was 16 years ago. if you ever have the chance get some seats closer to the stage, you will not regret that experience one bit. I never regret it any time I go!

I love this venue. They always sign with the best shows and the concerts are always an absolute blast. I love coming here for shows. And I will continue to keep going to shows here for as long as Im nearby. Only thing that disappoints me is the concession prices. Way too over priced in my opinion. But other than that its an amazing place to go see a show. Even if you do only have lawn seats.

We go to as many concerts as possible every year and definitely love sitting under the big ceiling fans that have been installed especially during the really hot summer months (when its really humid and sticky)! Bathrooms have definitely been improved but could still use a little love (ex. making sure all stalls have toilet paper, making sure there are plenty of paper towels, etc.). Food and drinks are still overpriced but anyone could say that about any concert venue or stadium so thats just something youll have to expect if you want to see a show. Overall; nice venue, good breezes blowing through thanks to being close to the river and for those who want a little extra fun, its located right next to Coney Island!

Omg... best...I mean BEST concert venue Ive ever been to. We happened to get VIP seats but didnt realize all that went with them. Separate early entrance into a private area with restaurant style service, bar, etc. When main venue opened, there was so many vendor stands that there was no lines at any of them... plus we had access to vip bar/ lounge/ restroom area right by the stage. You have LAWN seats?? Its artificial turf!!Arrive early? Right next door to a casino, Belterra Park.

Been to numerous shows this season over at Riverbend very poor design for the seating on the lawn there is no Pathways for people to walk up to the top of the walkway people are constantly cutting in front of you they have beer sales facing the stage so therefore everybody is coming up through the lawn trying to get beer cutting in front of you bumping into you about knocking you over and not even saying excuse me. Riverbend should look at the way ruhof did there Arena up and Noblesville Indiana that is a very well-designed venue Riverbend is a joke but unfortunately if you want to see the shows in this area thats where you have to go

It was a decent place to go see a concert. The picture was taken from row 809ish. I was able to clearly see all the artists on stage and the price was far less then the rows closer. Pretty decent venue, compared to others that are similar/similarly set up. Even the general admission/nosebleed area wasnt too bad, with astroturf down on the ground, food and other concessions really close, a really nice view of the river through the trees, decent acoustics and screens and parking is basically just a big paved lot right outside of the venue, so you dont have to walk 10 miles just to get where you are going. I would definitely visit again (from Indiana) for the right bands/events. :)They also have REAL bathrooms, which is a huge huge plus if you have been to enough concerts at this type of venue that you know what it is like to stand and wait 45 minutes or more for a skanky port a potty!!

Beautiful arena! Very clean and also comfortable thanks to their large fans moving air around. The staff were wonderful, kind and compassionate. Only issue was buying their version of accessible seats does not work out when its a concert and everyone stands up and your confined to a chair or can not stand for long periods of time. The staff did everything to try to make things right or better. They would have gave us access to the pit but it was already full. Very impressed over all.

We picked a great spot, then moved because someone lit up right next to us, then moved again.. and again... until I asked and was informed the lawn is a smoking AREA except for the family zone in the very back. Really good venue to see a concert, I would seriously recommend spending a few extra dollars for pavilion seats. Lawn tickets are ok if you are content with either just listening or watching the screens set up around the public areas. The main drawback for Riverbend is the expense of concessions and you will almost always get something from there as you can only bring 1 bottle of water (unfrozen and factory sealed) into this venue. The sound quality is pretty good if it is set up correctly by the bands crew.

I attended the Janet Jackson State of the World tour at Riverbend last night, and as an avid concert goer (this was my fourth concert out of six this month), this is a venue that Ive always struggled to decide if I like it or not.I like the lawn aspect of the venue. This was my first time not sitting in the pavilion and being in the lawn instead. I liked the party atmosphere of the lawn and the screens were well placed. The sound and accoustics were very clear. As a lawn newbie, I was unaware that a typical bag chair was considered too tall for the venue. I was a bit taken aback when a security lady ran up on me like a park ranger stopping someone from starting a forest fire over the simple mistake of me bringing one to the arena. Luckily, I had a blanket in my car to use so that we didnt have to sit on the itchy AstroTurf with no barrier. I wish the rules were uniformly enforced. I saw quite a few people with similar chairs as mine who were permitted to bring them in. Thankfully, with it being so hot, we were able to bring in sealed bottles of water without issue, just be mindful they cannot be frozen. The inconsistency of security and parking lot catastrophe keeps me from visiting this venue too often, but you really cant beat the decent pricing of the lawn!Leaving the parking lot is always a headache at this venue. Theres always a ton of officers to help direct traffic, but the problem is theyre always clumped in one spot vs being spread out to direct the traffic jams deeper in the parking lot. Last night there were so many aggressive drivers who nearly caused accidents just to keep people from being able to mergen into the exit line. Had more of the officers been in that region, it might have been easier to exit the parking lot.

Riverbend has a nice Ambiance. It did the evening I visited- Chris Brown, HER, 6lack, Rich the kid performed. This was a mixed crowd--young and not as young showed up. A concert/ performance venue nestled in with Coney Island. This is not a place for people who dont like crowds. The parking was organized. The staff has it down to a science. There were a lot of people therefore a lot of cars. If you have any trouble walking or getting around you may want to get there extra early in order to get closer to the park and or venue area. There is handicap accessible parking. Im just not sure how to get to it in a car. But I did see it while walking. When going into the venue/ concert area you are scanned with a metal detector and if you have a purse or small bag they do check it. Bookbags/ Backpacks Are Not Allowed. People were smoking so if you are sensitive to that you may want to keep that in mind. The lawn area has turf instead of grass so it wasnt wet from the previous days rain. The area close to the stage appeared compact and there you had to verify that you have a ticket to gain access to the area. There are places to eat. I saw people with Larosa boxes and beverages. There are stairs to get to the lawn area and you can see the performance on the stage or on the screens that are up. There are public restrooms. I did not access the restrooms so I am not sure of its cleaniness. You can bring chairs, blanket to sit on, unopened water bottle. The most inconvenient thing you may experience is the Heavy traffic coming and going. But the volume of traffic is to be expected. Make sure you leave Riverbend early if you dont want to experience the wait. Make sure you arrive early if you want to minimize the wait of getting in. Also if you park in the grass area, this area is not well lit (after the sun goes down). Make sure you pay attention to the number that is listed on the pole. That will help you find the area you parked in faster. Take a flashlight or use your phones flashlight. Overall, The Riverbend Music Center lives up to its Hype. It did this night.

I have been visiting Riverbend for over 30 years. From Rock Concerts to the Cincinnati Symphony the venue is awesome (my taste have evolved over the years). If your preference is to have a specific seat - which I recommend for Rock Concerts or the Lawn which I recommend for Cincinnati Symphony or Pops you will have a great experience. Riverbend Crews keep the grounds safe and provide ample direction before, during and after the performances. Parking is well coordinated and although there is a bit of a wait upon exiting ...it is what one would expect when several hundred people are dismissed from an event at the same time. I highly recommend the July 4th celebration with friends and family. Great to bring a lawn chair and cooler and have a picnic dinner on the lawn with the family as the Pops play music that celebrates the USA. At the end there is a wonderful fireworks display that makes caps off any Independence Day celebration with a Bang!

Great, fun concert, but it seems very poorly designed, as traffic in and out is an absolute mess, and there are six or eight sets of steel beams holding up the pavilion that gave way too many blocked views of the stage. Everytime you go smoke or out for drinks and food seems we had to keep showing our tickets which were soaked from the rain .. if your gonna uber or catch a cab be prepared to pay and they wont pick you up at Riverbend you have to walk to the Casino, there was like a hundred of us trying to get a ride, 2 hour wait time with $150 back to our room 8 miles away $20 including tip on the way there. cars were back to back trying to get out of parking lot.. this isnt a bad review but a bad night being somewhere that you dont know how to avoid all of this.. so Im sharing incase you have never been.. other than the rain and leaving part it was awesome Ill definitely be back.. but Ill know what not to do!
