Just wanted to leave a review commenting on just how amazing the renovation/transformation of the theater turned out.I attended the early matinee presentation of The Frog Princess as part of a Christmas event with my family on 12/8/2019 and we had a great time, but furthermore we were completely blown away with just how extensive and upscale the renovation turned out. We hadnt been to ETC since prior to the renovation and it was like seeing an old friend for the first time in a few years only to see they lost 50lb -- wow, ETC, you look great!

The remodel in the lobby looks great! and as always the show was awesome

I am not a season ticket holder at ETC, but have been to several plays there over the past several years, from straight dramas to musicals. The quality of the shows is consistently excellent, and the quality of the facility keeps improving, with an expanded lobby and bar area, more commodious restrooms, and an elevator. ETC seems committed to presenting the best in contemporary theater to Cincinnati audiences. I also appreciate the fact that it helped anchor the revitalization of OTR, which has been a tremendous asset to the city.

Saw Alice in Wonderland tonight. It was amazing!

Tonight I saw a very fun and entertaining family show. As usual the actors and the stage scenery were top notch. I found the Cheshire cat to be stand out performer in this version of Alice in wonderland. The show is about 105 minutes long with an intermission (55, 15 and 30 minutes). In this newly remodeled theatre there is not a bad seat anywhere. In addition to the main bar in the lobby there is a small bar on the balcony level for your convenience during most shows. The balcony has one gender neutral restroom and another one just down a few stairs and to the right. One of the more exciting things about the Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati is great selection of shows performed here many shortly after they close on Broadway. If you have not been here yet youre missing out on great theatre! Until next time be kind to each other.

Ive been a subscriber at ETC since 1990, my brother was one of the first employees there in the late 80s (costumier). I have seen hundreds of plays here, some better than others, but Ive never seen a bad play here. I highly recommend this place.

The theater itself is expensive but very nice. The actors are first rate. Currently playing A Doll’s House Part 2 which is the worst play we’ve ever seen. Unless you think a world in which everyone is entirely selfish and there is no need for commitment, or sacrifice for others, stay away. Spend your $110 on something else

This new space is so beautiful. Its the place to go if youre looking for newer edgy shows, featured in other regional theatres across the country.

First time patron and anticipating to be a long time patron. The location is fantastic for folks wanting to have a bite to eat before or after the show. A reasonably priced parking garage is directly across the street. The service from the box office and the bar was top notch. My husband and I enjoyed it so much we immediately bought tickets for other shows. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the play plus the staff was wonderful. Awesome theater setting just lovely inside. First time attending will tell family and friends and i will return for future events.

Contemporary Theater at its very best! Its like seeing a show on Broadway but with better seating. They have just renovated the lobby with a decent sized bar (it is still a theater but they have mixed drinks as well as several beer and wine offerings) and it makes getting there early part of the experience. A must visit for entertainment in Cincinnati!

The Humans touched many chords of family dynamics, some more surprising than others. Acting was spot on, set was amazing. Congrats to the actors and crew for another terrific performance at ETC!

Beautiful reconstruction of the building while keeping it charm. This show was one of the best we have seen.

Always great plays and great acting. We have had a subscription for a couple of years. I never know what the play is beforehand but it is always incredible and I feel the topics, especially the ones that I would not have found interesting if looked into it first, have opened my view of life and the world. We have had some very fun evenings going to dinner in OTR and a play with friends.

Great theater in a relatively small, intimate space. Also cant wait to see all the improvements coming this fall (2017)! Im sure it will be better than ever!

Just saw a sold-out show. Great, smaller theater. Drinks and snacks available and you can take into the show. They are starting renovations, so it should be even better next year.

Every show weve seen there has been great. Now beautifully renovated theater with expanded lobby, bar and restroom facilities.

The layout of the place is very modern and interesting. The sets that are there are well made and almost feel real.

Great venue. Not one bad seat in the house. Moderate-sized black box theater with quality productions. Close to parking and restaurants, but arrive early as it gets crowded quickly in the lobby.

Excellent performances. Reasonable ticket prices. Warm staff. Helpful with parking.

Saw The Legend of Georgia McBride with my wife as an assignment for her theater class. Despite being on the stairs due to our own procrastination in getting tickets, we had a great time and really enjoyed the cozy dimensions of the theater. Well be back soon!
