It was great and the manager was very helpful. When I lost my wallet, he reviewed the camera and walked to the theater where I saw the Jackie Chan movie. He dug deep in the chair and found it on the left side of the chair. I was very grateful.

Place seems poorly managed. Watched all 3 of the newer Star Wars movies there, the 2 big Xtreme theaters have great picture and sound, better than everywhere else we watch movies, but its dirtier evey time we go. Literally no cleaning done before we watched The Last Jedi. Garbage in the seats from the previous showing. Sad because the theater was so nice when it opened.

This is the best theater in Cincinnati. Everyone is nice. The manager..Doug is amazing. Its super clean. They clean the seats, door handles and replace gloves everytime they touch money. Money, new gloves, food, new gloves, another customer, new gloves. Constantly wiping down handles and the soda machine. I watched as we bought our tickets and went to sit in the theater. I felt totally safe in this place. Thanks xscape theater.

Would not let us enter our movie, then when we asked for a refund they did not give us full money back. Employees were rude, & none of their machines worked.

I have to admit, I did not want to go here because how the news described both intolerance of the patron and local police. However, this was the best time for my son and to go. Im happy I did not listen to the talking heads. My experience was good. Im found the staff to be friendly as well as fellow patrons. There was a more of a police presence than I seen at other establishment, but I found the two officers I spoke with to be friendly and did not take away from our experience. So, I will continue to support the Excape and others will to. In only negative, not enough sugar free soft drink options.

I stopped in to see a late evening movie.(2100hrs) The service and everything was above par. Nice, respectful services.Nice atmosphere to see a movie in theater style. The audio & visual experience was good. I needed a good change up. Thank you. MK

The overall experience was pleasant. We caught the last showing so the crowd was super light. Only compliant is the staff, We stood at the session center as staff talked to each while looking at us. My Boyfriend finally asks if they was open before someone helped us.

Went to a late showing. Has a minimalistic lobby area, but overall a nice and functional movie theatre. The theatre itself was comfortable and fairly spacious for seating. The seats are plush and recline at the touch of a button. Very nice place to catch a movie with some snacks and hit up the mall at the same time. Prices are moderate but i have definitely seen worse. Aim for a deal day if possible.

First movie I saw here was Jurassic World back when they first opened and I loved it. Ive seen probly every major star wars release here and it is always amazing. Reasonably priced(all things considered) and the staff is always laid back.

Good picture and sound. Offers military discount only a handful of people watching the movie at the time. Teen age girls close to us kept talking and getting on their cell phones. Kids behind us kept yelling and jumping up and down. Would have been nice if staff popped their heads on and check on things.

My favorite theater. The recliner seating is so comfortable! Great early bird pricing. Friendly and helpful staff.

I love going to the movies at Xscape Theater!!! My family & I saw Jumanji 2. It has the reclining seats so it was comfortable. It was a fun time!

Prices are great on the popcorn and nacho combos. I will admit, sometimes the popcorn can be a little stale but once you add butter and salt, then begin to watch your movie, you dont notice much.Seats are comfortable. On Tuesdays, the ticket are 50% off, which help for large families. Customer service is awesome. I love the self serve kiosk. This is the ONLY theater I prefer.

I enjoy this Cinema I like the seating service is pretty good last movie I want to see was Queen and slim I stayed awake and I watched it all was a really good movie but I do enjoy the cinema very nice people are great.

Our experience went quite well. Only a few other people in the entire theater for the 1:10 showing. Visual and audio superb.

70 ft screens, Dolby surround sound and reclining seats but no IMAX and no Dolby seat shaking so... not as good as it could or should be. I havent seen an action film yet so I might change my review once I do.

Prices are reasonable. Seating is plentiful, and very comfortable. Staff is very polite, and quick to serve. Theatres are kept around 70°, so nice on a hot day, but not freezing.

It was really good. The clerk was nice. She made small talk. The popcorn was fresh and the theater seats were very comfortable. It could have been swept out a little better between movie showings.

Its not a horrible experience but the prices, like most theaters, are way too high. The high prices would be slightly easier to tolerate if you walk into clean theaters. The seats had pop spilled on several, garbage in the cup holders and apparently they dont care because a simple walk through would solve almost all of this, especially since they were extremely slow. They always have a cop on hand for the trouble that can and has happened before which all makes one ask, do i really wanna watch a movie here? And its usually fine, but they need to pay more attention to the theaters and keep them cleaner. If for no other reason, at least the impression they care about giving the best experience possible and not the we dont know or care.

I love this place. I love the movies shown in Xtreme . We went to see Us which sucked but the popcorn was nice and buttery. Overall it was a nice date and the employees were pleasant and the theater is always clean and so are the ladies rooms. If I was paying I would have requested a refund and exited early. Management is very fair and take pride at this theater. They have zero tolerance so come on your best behavior and please be courteous.

Took the kids to the free movie. We saw Little Foot. The kids had a great time and I appreciate the free movie cause it is so expensive to take them to the movies. I asked the person at the concession stand about the combos, but she was not able to tell me. They are on the screens behind them, but not long enough to be able to figure out what you need or to choose. Prices are too high to begin with, and with people standing in line behind you, it is hard .

This theater is ok, there are nicer one in west Chester but the price is fair

Nice theatre with cushy reclining seats that offers matinee and senior pricing.Nothing special in concessions and overpriced like the rest. The viewing theatre was fine...but the hallways reeked so strongly of mold it made my eyes water...not good for allergies or asthma...but Im super sensitive.Parking was convenient and the staff was very friendly.

Good seats, decent prices and really good screens/sound systems. Much better than other local movie theaters with the exception of AMC. The clientele can be a little... undesirable at times but other than that, it’s a good place.It should be noted that the local police have cracked down heavily on the unaccompanied minors that were causing many of the issues with this place and the mall in general. Which is great.

Good selection. Quality of sound and video is also good. Seats could be a bit cushier. And concessions are, of course, too expensive. But we will be back.

I like the reclining chairs. Ive only gone during early afternoon showings so idk what its like on weekend nights when a lot of teens might be there.

Its not unlike most venues that show movies. At times they seem seriously understaffed. I like the reclining chairs but Showcases recliners are far more comfortable. They are newer but they are far more comfortable than Xscapes were when they were brand new. The place is generally clean including the bathrooms. I usually go early however so I always see every movie theaters rest rooms at their best, later in the day they ALL WITHOUT EXCEPTION GET (NASTY)!

This theatre has overstuffed recliners for movie chairs! Its very well laid out, as in the rows dont block the view from the back. It is a really great movie experience!

They have their busy days. Roughly $8 to get in. Discounts for seniors. Go during matinee times to get a deal. Concession stand and public restrooms. Opens to the mall. Lots of parking available.

The movie was good.. I go early, so its never overly crowded. Its clean and has good popcorn.

I always have a great experience at this theater. Great seats, great snacks, excellent location, and friendly employees. The place is generally pretty clean and the seats are comfortable. The theaters themselves are good, even the small ones, and there arent really what Id call bad seats. The seats also recline and there is a ton of leg room. This is hands down one of the best movie theaters Ive ever gone to.

Awesome! The theatre was nice and clean. The service was fast and friendly. I loved the reclining seats. The sound was awesome! The picture quality was great! The bathroom was clean. I liked that had lots of movies and times to see the movies.

I really enjoy this theatre it has good sound not too loud or too low and most important it has the best seating cause you can put the thing out to stretch your legs.

I really enjoyed all of my trips to the Xscape theater in Northgate. In fact its become one of the few reasons I even go to Northgate anymore. The mall has definitely falling off a little bit in the past decade but the nest Theatre is fantastic! Its clean and well maintained. The staff are all friendly ( for teenagers working at a theater at least). And, while its not necessarily the doing of the theater, all of the audiences Ive been in are quiet and respectful. Definitely a good place to see a show.!

Loved the recliners. Friendly people and good pretzels and popcorn. A bit pricey for food but great movie price on senior day.

Xscape is a great place to see a movie. Seating is comfortable, staff is friendly, restrooms are usually clean. You can buy tickets are the counter or use a kiosk with a card. Ive never had a bad experience there.

Enjoyed watching film at escape northgate cinema. Very good customer service and you get good seats if you arrive early for the film.

Never enjoyed going to the movies before we discovered this theatre. Had not been in years. Now I look forward to going! Nice theatre! Also lost my wallet during our latest venture. I realized I lost it the next day. My husband called and they verified it was in fact there. Not only was it returned but nothing was missing. Thanks for the honesty! Truly greatful. The sound is great here for scary movies. I wouldnt do action movies though because its always a bit much with the extra bass but the seating is amazing on the upper levels because its basically impossible to block your view of the screen.

Pretty decent place to see a movie. The seats are very comfortable but the theaters are not always cleaned very well between showings. In addition they tend to get a rowdy crowd on the weekends which apparently has called for a police presence which can be a little offputting. If Springdale Cinemas had the nicer reclining seats I would go there instead but I cant resist the allure of the recliners.

Of course going to the movies costs your first born child these days but this place is pretty great. The seats are as comfortable as possible and the food is pretty tasty if you can afford it. Plus they always have a selection of movies to choose from.

Ticket prices are good, movies usually start on time, and the seats are comfortable. I would give five stars if it weren’t for the restrooms. They’re almost always super gross every time we come. If the restrooms were a little cleaner, I’d have nothing to complain about!

Nice clean place but I do not like SOME of the employees sorry. Rude! Rude! And some not all make fell like these are white pies only. As a minority it fell like I was back 400 years of slavery times.

The movie theater steadily declines with every year. Used to be such a nice and clean theater.

There have been several attempts at movie theaters in Northgate over the years. This one appears to be the stoutest/best effort of the bunch. They have a good location with exits that allow you to easily see movies after the main mall has closed. The place is kept clean and the reclining seats all work. This area can be rough with a lot of teenager traffic, I am sure it is no easy task keeping everything working, this group pulls it off. Like all theaterss: Ticket prices are unfriendly and food prices are insane, but you cant get a 70 screen at home.
