Wonderful old fashioned theatre! Friendly staff. This is my second time there and I will go back.

Raised the prices to $8 on first run movies due to movie companies. A few of the chairs we sat in felt broken. Kids love the dance floor and great concession prices.

Worked here for years back when I was a boy even helped remodel the concession stand and projection booth

A quaint little movie theater that does its best to compete with the larger, corporate chains. I appreciate the large variety of treats offered at the snack bar.Our family always enjoys our visits here.

This theater has been nicely renovated since going there as a child. The movies are cheap, and have very comfortable seating. They serve hot food that they are willing to bring to you, and you can rent it out for birthday parties. We had an x box party there, and played on the theater screen. They also have strobe lights and late night trippy viewings on occasion. Pretty cool place!

I. Love. This. Place! A tiny, charming hometown theatre that you can take your whole family to, this is an excellent alternative to larger venues. Concession prices are fair, and they will make pizza and cookies to order and deliver them to your seat! What better way to enjoy a movie than in a historic building while supporting a local business?

The Parkland, in Sayler Park, is the best movie theatre around. Single screen. $1 popcorn, $1& $2 sodas. Cozy. First run movies.

Nice little affordable theater for the family. Im not crazy about the chairs, they always fold in on me when Im sitting in them. But its a nice screen and audio and can catch newer films with food delivered to your seat. I would love to see more independent films be shown during the week (like an esquire)... or maybe something not rated PG once in a while.

Comfortable seats, good sound and good picture. Had very homey feel and is very inexpensive! Only $8 for tickets, and snacks are very affordable!

You have to try this iconic, adorable little theatre in Saylor Park. The remodel turned out great. It is comfortable and the owner is super accommodating. Large selection of food which is served to your seat as you watch the show. Good candy selection, too. And the prices are very reasonable. The movies are first run. Great for families and groups.

Love taking our family here. Ticket & concession prices are unbeatable!! We rarely see movies at any other theatre because they are all too expensive. The staff is always helpful and friendly.I wish the showing had more convenient times. Seems like all the movies start too late (7pm start time during the school year- for a two hour movie means it will end past bedtime).Also, the movies dont always start at the correct time.

The prices are great. On everything admissions to popcorn candy ect. The place was roomy the only thing which is kinda a big thing is the place was filthy from the last showing no one cleaned up in between showings

They accommodated us for a last minute birthday party and were so pleasant. Great family establishment. Our teenagers had a great time! The staff is amazing! Very reasonable. Cant say enough good. We were very impressed and will be back!

Awesome! The staff is very personable and accommodating. The theatre was clean and retro. The leather seats are very comfortable. Sound quality and projection were great. No complaints. The prices are great for working class folk. A perfect small town gem. We loved it!

The parkland theater is wonderful perfect for the family

It is a nice theater and I go there upon occasion. What annoys me is the people who park ok n front of home owners homes..in the summer I have to park in my yard to unload groceries ....please park further down and walk a little longer and stop parking in front of people homes!!! Neat little theater. Although, I had a hard time sitting in the reclining chair, because it kept folding up on me. (Im small. LOL) But, the staff and movie Rosa Leigh were fantastic!

We had my daughters sweet 16 here today. We absolutely loved it. Zach did a great job keeping up with our craziness. We will be back. Thank you very much!

Great small theater. Been around over 100 years! Only theater I can you to and only spend 20 dollars. Snacks, drinks, and foid good and affordable. Been going here since I was a kid! It is in a great community that cares.

Wonderful people run this establishment. You can tell that they run the place with love. Where else can you take your kids for $1/movie? They show family friendly movies in an old historic building. I have friends that drive 30 minutes just to go to the movies at Parkland.

Love this Theater! Seats are awesome and snacks dont cost an arm and a leg. The staff was really nice too (instead of bored and disinterested). Watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and had a fabulous time.

Its a great place. Its cheaper than any other movie theatre around. Picture quality is good. The sound quality is great. 4ppl to see the Incredibles 2 on opening day with a bucket of pop corn and 2 large drinks was only $42.00. The only thing you should know is the large drinks are about the size of medium drinks at the local large movie theaters

What a cute little place! I only dropped off packages here but couldnt help but notice how unique this place was. Handicapped entrance and all this place is easy to find and easily accessible for anyone wanting to visit.

Small theater with first run movies for $6 every day. Beautiful digital 8K projector, new screen, and Dolby sound make the movies pop. Leather seats and lack of large crowds give a real VIP feel. Love watching movies here with my family.

Live, love, love the Parkland. Check on private rentals for birthday parties or Scout outings. Great staff. Cool vibe.

I took my family to see Smurfs The Lost Village on Saturday night May 20 at Parkland Theatre. The film stopped the first time for 15 minutes, about an hour into the movie. The attendant mentioned nothing about it being weather related. During the film stoppage, there was audio playing talking about masturbation --- this at a family movie theater and childrens show. Imagine trying to explain that to a 11 and 9 year old. I had to tell the attendant to turn off the audio as it was using offensive language. The movie stopped once again with 3 minutes left when the attendant asked if anyone was insistent on seeing the remainder of the movie and then sent everyone home. The only thing the theater was willing to do was to provide passes to the exact same movie. I paid $61 for tickets and snacks, and was so disappointed by this Christian establishment. The manager I called claims the movie stoppage was weather related, but nothing else was impacted in the theater.

The seats are really comfortable and the prices are awesome.there was some banging going on during the movie & it sounded like it was coming from the young people working the concession and they kept forgetting to bring out my sons cookies but other then that it was ok

I love this place! Everytime I come to Cincinnati I make a trip here to see a movie. Its never overcrowded, I guess because it is an older theater, but its everyones loss!The last time I visited, the owner pointed out the little movie museum in the corner up front by the screen and explained that he had left the area in front of the screen without seats intentionally so kids could come there for birthday parties or people could have get togethers there.They have all the normal concession stand items, but they also have a limited amount of items that they will prepare and bring to your seat -- including the FRESHLY made Otis Spunkmeyer cookies!Speaking of the seats, they are all newly upholstered and wonderfully comfortable with plenty of leg room.They only show two movies a night, but they are current and the price of admission is far less than other theaters.I HIGHLY recommend this theater. Its small, older and quaint, but, again, I feel it is well worth supporting this tiny local business.
