Good size. Its Architect students project operation and display hall.With library in basement.Often lectures from visiting renowned Architects are held here for learning of students.

Was just there to play the disc course since its the only one in Chicago proper.

Incredible space for architecture student ! Must be a pleasure to work in such an emblem of modernism architecture, the definition of open space from Mies, a beauty.

We came here as part of an student architecture trip after studying a couple of Mies Van de Rohe’s works over the semester. the place is beautiful and its always a joy visiting an architecture school and seeing other students work!

Thank you IIT & S.R.Crown Hall for hosting Project Pipeline 2019...It was a fantastic opportunity for my children to learn in a Ludwig Mies van der Rohe building.

Catering by Chartwells were both appealing and delicious. Service was excellent.

The building is one of the newest building on campus and follows the architectural style of the rest of the buildings. With that, I do beleive its function was not thought through because the biggest space in the building is not used as much as the basement which to some extent looks like a dungeon. Personally they put so much money in the building they should have found a different style for the function.

World famous. I love this place.

Surpassed only by Farnsworth House and perhaps Seagram Building, this is one of Mies greatest works. A must see. Sunrise and sunset a particularly good times to photograph this building - the south facade reflects the strong dawn/dusk colors perfectly.

The temple of architecture and the work of Ludwig Mies Vander Rohe is magnificent.

Great Mies Icon, even better to have had the opportunity to attend classes in this building!
