My first visit to an escape room and it didnt disappoint. Gutted to have not finish the tasks but had an amazing experience with my friends. We had 60 mins to uncover 2 rooms in the 1980s theme for the DollHouse murderer. We were a group of 4 and had a great help froma one Ms Pepper(staff). We were atleast 2 people short since the 6 is the optimal to uncover the clues more efficiently but dont want to give out any excuses there. The escape room itself is wonderfully themed with the 80s feel. The only downside to this experience we had was that we didnt know which location to reach at and went to the wrong location(which later we were told happened to a lot of them the same day). We were told later that if we didnt reach the new place in the next 4 mins(we reached before the 4 mins since we ran) wed have to pay a fine(which we didnt). Since we were all young and in our mid 20s we could run from one of their locations to the next, I dont think the same would apply for small children and elder people. They should have been more clearer about it in one of their confirmation emails.

Took my little brother here for a fun afternoon. We were both first timers and this was such a great experience for us. Rosie was our Time Travel Agent and she did an amazing job of really selling the experience from the moment we opened the door to the moment we left. I feel like that truly made it an awesome experience, just that little bit of enthusiasm and committing to the role and overall theme made the experience better than if youd just walked in and talked to some customer service person at a front desk that took you to a room. Will definitely be back to try the other rooms. We definitely recommend the Pirate room here!

Had a lot of fun. We did the Duck and Cover room. Rooms are designed for up to 10 people but our room was just our foursome. We had to wait a few minutes before someone greeted us, but they made the experience fun and it made up for any delays from our arrival. They gave us help when we needed it and any technical issues with the room itself were quickly resolved. Definitely a fun experience and worth the price of admission. Great for all ages.

Great escape room. The guys stay in character and they know their stuff. It was, even sometimes a little too challenging but it was and it was a really pretty space. There are two locations so be sure to find the right one depending on the escape room you choose. I think they have two or three locations that are a couple of blocks from each other.

Escape Artistry is one of best immersive escape rooms in Chicago. I have done dozens in the area and this one was so much fun! They have a wide variety clues that require different types of reasoning/skills while still remaining true to story. Our game master, Doc, was wonderful. I cannot reccomend this place enough!

My group has done nearly 50 rooms and Roaring Dans Pirate Dungeon is one of my favorites. Escape Artistry is neat from the moment you enter (big fan of the decorations!) and theyve even managed to make all the repetitive yeah, okay, this is a room with locks, dont break stuff fun.we did the room as a group of 5 -- 4 of my usual & one newbie. we did need one hint, but escaped successfully. all the puzzles were fun & functional & extremely satisfying, and everyone in my group had nothing but compliments once we finished. it seems like a solid choice whether youre a new group or one that may play a little too often ;)we arent local, so we only had the chance to do one room, but I would gladly go back and 100% recommend trying them out.

Excellent them to the place with the employees keeping the theme. Its a bit odd at first but is endearing overall. The room that we did was excellent and had a interesting theme that fit into the the background of the place plus its other rooms so it would be best to do some of the other rooms as well. Had an excellent time and was able to finish the room with time to spare.

At this point I would count myself as a seasoned Escape Room Enthusiast, with 80+ rooms under my belt I feel I have a pretty good grasp on what constitutes a good room. This group of people FAR surpassed my expectations for game masters. I want to thank Mondo, Mars, Ren, Doc Brown, Sweetheart, Bjorn, and Bandit for a FANTASTIC birthday, and a wonderful escape expereince. From the second you walk into the Time Gallery to the moment you leave, youre immersed in a story unlike any other escape room in Chicago. Where most venues have a plethora of themed rooms, not many have any coherent story or connection between them. The Time Gallery gives you a well thought out story, and each room feels connected. You see easter eggs in every room, and there is always a way to relate the puzzles. The Mission Specialists at this venue are some of the best Ive ever experienced, and I would recommend to ANYONE they spend some time here. I unfortunately finished all 6 of their rooms, so it will be a bit before I can return, but I look forward to that day and staying in touch with the staff.

I tried their newest room -- Duck and Cover. The rooms are stunning -- the detail is amazing and the puzzles are well done and the secrets are well hidden. I love that the whole building has a unifying theme. Agent Tiny was our guide and she did wonderfully. I met the owners as well and they were so kind. Great experience all around! Cant wait to try another room!

Barely escaped! Time Gallerys rooms are innovative and challenging, we had a large group of 20-somethings that we divided among two rooms and we all had so much fun and stories to swap when we were done. Ive not been a big fan of the escape room trend, it seems like there are a lot of half a**ed operations out there trying to capitalize on the fad, but I was impressed at how thoroughly thought out and developed Escape Artistry is - they truly have treated the thing like an art. Also Sweetheart is great and we all loved him.

This was my first escape room. Our group was about 8 people, and it was a blast! Our mission specialist was a lot of fun and very helpful--he had to give us a couple clues but did a good job of giving us just enough to get unblocked, but not too much. The room itself was really well decorated, the puzzles were interesting and challenging, and there was always something for each person in our group to do--no one was left standing around. Highly recommend!Visited August 2017
