Went there for a field trip with my students. The play was nice but the ushers need to speak to adults with more respect. Very disappointed that I am always teaching my students to respect yet they witnessed such disrespectful treatment.

Get Stage Time Instead of Screen TimeAnd help your youngster learn about live performance in a setting where kids are welcome. Theatre is beautiful. Grandmas and those with balance issues, the bathrooms are down a set of stairs. This is a best kept secret in Chicago with affordable seats and all student run productions. Brava!

Good selection of stage productions for young audiences, inventive, visually striking sets. Good sound. Friendly staff. Family friendly pricing. Wish they had a dedicated parking lot. Other issue is the seats. They are old, sunken, uneven and uncomfortable with springs sticking you in your tush :(

My son and I had the opportunity to see a childrens play there and it was a nice theater.

I love it! Reminds me of an old 1930 theatre

Merle REskin theatre plays a lot of international movies and documentaries and they all are very deep stories. I enjoyed one a couple years back and i am waiting to go again. They serve popcorn and drinks. Each theatre is small, but the chair you sit in is great. It feels like you are right at home. It is a must go to theatre when you are in the mood to watch these kind of movies. Gladly they are all subtitled in English, if you dont mind that at all.

They have good plays but the chupacabra one i saw a few days ago was pretty boring I literally was going to sleep Im sorry but I dont recommend that play other than that the rest of the plays are great

This is a good location. I brought a group of elementary schoolers back in 2008.My kids, who were part of the group, still remember the play.It remains a great memory for them.

Terrific shows for young kiddos.
