We absolutely love the Cadillac Palace Theater. We had a group of 20 people coming for the holiday show White Christmas. The production was excellent as always 4 shows that are sponsored by Broadway in Chicago. It was easy for us to find parking using spothero to get to this theater, and all of the staff members inside the theater were friendly and did their best to get everybody to their seat before the show started. We also like that they sell drinks and snacks and you are able to have them with you during the show.

Amazing theater, we came here to watch a performance of the Phantom of the Opera and enjoyed the whole show! The elegant theater is well decorated. Our only complaint was that the middle section is so narrow that it blocks some of the parts of the show. I wish they took that into account because we couldn’t see some of those scenes. Other than that it’s a magnificent theater in the loop of Chicago. Great location and amazing design.

The entire building, inside and out, is gorgeous, the seating is comfortable and you get a good view no matter your seat. And the intermissions...well, hats off to the staff. That was the most efficient bathroom line Ive ever been in during an intermission. It was nearly as impressive as the show itself.

A beautiful ornate venue in the heart of the theater district, well maintained and classy. . I usually sit Orchestra or side balcony. Either way, the view to the stage is excellent. I am not an expect in acoustics it has always been satisfactory to me. As with most of these places, the snacks and drinks are just not worth it. Bathroom lines are long so dont risk it.We saw Once On This Island. Fun entertaining evening. Easy to get there, easy to get home from.

This was such a GORGEOUS theater! So antique and beautifully made! The chandeliers are gorgeous and the vibe throwws you back to the old days. We went to see the phantom of the opera with broadway and watching it in this theater made me feel like I was part of the opera because of how gorgeous it is. Lots of great photo opportunities.Only thing I wouldn’t advise is to sit in the middle balcony. It’s the little balcony under the main one. We sat there and couldn’t see the chandelier drop in the show when they called lot 666. Or there was a scene where the actors were up on a ledge and we could only see their feet because the balcony above us was blocking the top sectiOn on the stage. Other than that we had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you Cadillac theater!

Very clean theatre. The inside is elegant and beautiful. The bathrooms is clean and many stalls to handle the large crowd going in and out so the wait is not too long. The chairs are comfortable and the stage can be seen from anywhere you sit. I enjoy going to see shows at this theatre. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is a parking garage that is close and if you use spot hero you can get it for cheap and walk.

It looked grand, well kept. Patrons working were well organized and polite but stern . You can tell that they wanted you to have a great experience but pls dont destroy our theater. We had AMAZING experience and I was already looking up for future events that we can bring entire family.

Went to watch Les Miserables. The show was good but the seats in the loge and balcony have low quality sound and are not as good as in other theaters. Most importantly, the sound in the upper levels was poor and it made it hard to understand some of the songs. This was unfortunate since we went to watch a musical.

I have been here several times, most recently today. It is a beautiful theater with beautiful productions. Every seat seems to have a good view. A few things I didnt care for: It was a bit chaotic waiting for doors to open. They only allowed us in theater 45 minutes before show started. It was cold and the entire sidewalk in front of theater was packed and a little chaotic. I wouldnt recommend getting here super early. There were no drink holders. The ladies bathroom on balcony level only had 8 stalls. The line was so long and took entire intermission to get through. There was no time to get a refreshment and get back on time because that line was long too. Overall though, great show and theater.

A very lovely theater and the staff was super nice. We actually missed our show due to unfortunate circumstances. They were so nice enough to give us left over seats that were not taken, even though it was our fault for getting our schedule mixed up. They were willing to try even if there was a chance they could not do anything. I will be coming to this theater again the next time I am in Chicago.

I sat all the way at the top in the balcony and there really is not a bad seat in the house. My only complaint is that you are very limited on leg room here. What a beautiful theater built in the 1920s! Everything seems genuine and it makes you feel like you are truly in the wrath it was built. A word of caution though if you are tall: the seats dont have much leg room! Also for the ladies, please go to the bathroom before the show. The Cadillac Palace is a beautiful piece of Chicagos history. Ive attended quite a few programs at this venue now and I believe the prices are very fair. The resfreshments are standard - snacks, wine, spirits, coffee etc, so its best to eat before or after your program. The only slight inconvenience is making sure you get there early enough to use their facilities as at intermission trying to use the washroom can be a bit hectic.

Only upsetting thing was only one employee working the drink/snack stand so the line was so long during intermission you have to choose between getting a snack or using the restroom . But at least the restrooms were very clean and they have someone standing there making sure the line keeps moving smoothly and people dont try and cut through the line.

Saw Phantom of the opera here last weekend. The theatre is beautiful but it was a really disappointing experience. There was cold air conditioning blowing on our legs the entire show, our seats (balcony right center) were so cramped we could hardly move, there were several heads blocking our view, and apart from the overture the music and voices werent nearly loud enough. To top it off the people in the row behind us wouldnt stop coughing during the show and I came down sick the next day.

My mother and I go to the Cadillac Palace all time. It is a beautiful venue and our favorite play to see there is The Phantom of the Opera. Unfortunately last night was an experience that left a horrible taste in our mouth. We were there to see Phantom of the Opera and the Usher who was helping people find their seats in the section we were in became very rude and spoke to us in a very nasty tone. The light was flashing to indicate that the show is was getting ready to start after the intermission was over. My mother was trying to send out an text to my father about the the time to pick us up. The light was very low on her phone and the Usher yelled at both of us to turn the phone off. I know you cant have your phone on while the performance is taking place, but it had not started back yet and there is a way to talk to people. Also, the same Usher held up two other patrons and would not allow them to go back to their seats for 20 minutes. Once she did, they literally ran in dark, back to their seats. My mother and I will not be returning to Cadillac Palace and will encourage all of our friends and family to not return as well since these are the kind of employees theyow have working for them.

The theater was clean, the show was amazing, but the drinks were a bit less than stellar, especially for the price we paid. The overall experience was amazing, I just wish that parking would have been easier and cheaper in this area. My friend and I loved the theater and were very happy with the seats we had, and while I feel that it was a bit expensive for the whole ordeal, it was worth the experience. If it had not been this play, I may not have gone because of prices, but because this play is a favorite of my friend and myself, we were able to enjoy the experience. The architecture of the hall and the theater itself were amazing, and I wish there had been more time to take photos and make small videos, but the place was amazing.Great staff, all were very helpful in directing us to our seats in a timely fashion, and the show was astounding. This was the biggest let down of the decade! It was my birthday, a very big one.I won 2 tickets to see Aladdin.I was to pick up the tickets at the theater. My date and I are all dressed up, we pay to park downtown. We walk up to the ticket booth give my name and show them the winning coupon. They said NO, we can sell the seats, so we are going to sell the seats. Now Broadway in Chicago and the Cadillac theater work together. Broadway in Chicago ran the contest.I won the contest! I won 2 seats to see Aladdin at the Cadillac theater. The show knew all about it. They just had no intention of honoring it.I truly feel this was a very horrible way to treat someone. The only thing we have when dealing with these theaters and these ticket companies is a hope they will honor the tickets when we get there. Some times they over sell the seats and we are just out of luck.I was heartbroken the Cadillac Theater decided to do this to me.It was a really big birthday, one of the decade ones, you know, oh my gosh Im that old now. I had a date.I would have one magical night. For 2 or 3 hours I would be at peace.Nope they pulled all that happiness away from me just because they wanted to back out of the agreement. They wanted to make a buck. They left me standing there totally embarrassed in front of my date. I was just shocked, I just stood there, the man told me to move away from the ticket booth. They have the power, they can over sell and just tell us to leave. Get a refund they say.Horrible simple horrible. My advice, if you find you must go here keep checking with them to make sure you still have seats.Broadway in Chicago also has a very negative roll in this, Ill save it for there review. They were horrible about this.
