I wouldnt suggest for people to buy front row seats, I went on a solo trip and wanted to get the best out of this experience. The show its more for kids that it is for adults. No, you wont get paint splashed on you. I would recommend more going to other events.

We have been to the Chicago Blue Man group a few times and it is always a good time. Children as well as adults live it.

Awesome experience to see once in a lifetime. The humor was a little dry at times but the music was great and the crowd involvement was entertaining.

I’m all for arts and theatre, but I have to be honest. Decent musical performance, but only was about 10% of the 1hr 45 min performance (we went to a 2pm show on a Sunday). The rest was drawn-out laugh sketches, left us waiting for the punchline that never showed up.The most UNDERWHELMING performance I have ever seen (I’m sorry to report) I just think it’s a waste of money. Last time I saw the BMG it was 15 yrs ago and I def don’t remember it being this lacking.Again, My apologies to the Blue Man Group crew for being honest.... I just wanted to leave feedback so they can improve and get with the times. I’d rather have seen a 45 min show for a more concise and powerful performance.

These guys never fail to offer a wonderful, family-family show. I have bee to several of their shows and the show is ever-changing. I could go once a month and never be bored.

My first time seeing the BMG and it was good! Im not a theater arts type but it was my friends 30th birthday and she wanted to go and they did an amazing job and I will come back for another show!

I loved the Blue Man Group! Not only was the show captivating before it began, but the Blue Men were so sweet! It was an amazing experience and show! (Make sure to wear the ponchos if youre close to the stage though.. just to be safe ;) )

Very underwhelming. Las Vegas showtime prices for a local theater performance. Lacked depth, creativity and dragged on too long during a few of the skits. As a consumer, the value for my hard earned money was not here. I was very optimistic and pretty excited for the show, but left scratching my head instead. You can see Cirque du Soleil for the same cost!!!

HIGHLY recommend if you’re in Chicago. It will be fun for anyone at any age. It was entertaining throughout the entire show! They were so interactive, talented and funny

Absolutely LOVED the show. Great for all ages as long as you don’t have epilepsy or get sensory overload easily because it is A LOT. But very very cool

Loved this show! I also had the chance to see it years ago and it was just as fun and fresh this time! Plus, I brought my teenage niece who was in town for the weekend...she LOVED it, too, and was the hit of her social media circle that night.

As good of a live experience as you can get in Chicago. Interactive, even with with audience areas outside of the splash zone.

These guys are flipn awesome! So family oreinted, technology has stolen the youth and even adults imagination and need for face to face human interaction and bonding, these guys really know how to get people interested in both again! Money well spent .. we drove 3 hrs to get to Chicago and it was worth ever dagum minute we faught in traffic and dime we spent ! Phenomenal job Blue man/women crew, never stop bringing us humans together and sparking are imaginations... Im hoping some day you will come to wichita,Kansas, so that I may bring my 5grandbabies to enjoy your magnificent crew!

The kid and wife really liked the crowd interaction. I wanted a little more of the music and drumming. But still enjoyed it.

I have no idea what I just watched! It’s insane! The blue man group show was an absolute treat to the eyes and if you’re thinking whether it’s worth the money or not then just forget about it and go!!! Those men are absolutely talented and amazing! It’s a visual treat! ️

I couldnt take any pictures during the show cuz they asked you not to but if you ever want to see a show where you interact and have a fantastic time this is a show to go see. Its definitely for all ages

The Blue Man Group is the best audio-visual-comedic-improv experience known to mankind. Hands down. Their improvisation skills are so good, you cant even tell whats scripted and what isnt. And no, their extra antics arent staged and they dont have audience members placed. I visited with a local band from Western NY and one of the percussionists was chosen for a bit involving percussion. Needless to say, he exceeded their expectations and were able to seamlessly adapt and (futilely) increase the difficulty. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is remotely interested in this kind of stuff.

Very unique experience. Im usually not into strange theater performances or comedy shows, but I was very entertained and had a lot of fun. I think everyone should see it at least once. The Blue Men are incredibly talented. One side note, bring cash because the bar doesnt accept cards.

Amazing show, little too much crowd participation for my tastes though. All ages, tons of kids actually, but still a masterpiece of percussion.Id also say its unlikely that I would see the show without the discount from Hot Tix.

Saw the show 20 years ago with my parents and tonight with my own kids. Still a treat and so entertaining. Kids are 6 & 7 and were in awe and engaged the whole 90 min. Great Chicago tradition!

Have seen BMG several times since the late 90s and, sadly, the show has devolved into something akin to the Wiggles. As I sat, watching this dumbed down non-sense and listening to the high-pitched laughter of many children, I was embarrassed that I had so highly recommended it to my guest.

We didnt know what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. Great place for a date night and plenty of places to walk to thereafter. We were in the 3rd row and didnt get much except some banana puree on our ponchos. We went on New Years Eve and Id say it was still worth dressing up for even though you run the risk...

Good show, have seen twice... wish they would update it; add new items; possibly make it a bit longer than 85-90 mins

A must go, the color calibration and the synchronization is just amazing.Great theme going on for the act, the ambience of the theatre is pretty cool.Parking is a challenge, if you can get there a lil before the show they have adjacent parking which they have a flat fee for.

Excellent show! These guys did awesome and really interacted with the audience. They were funny and interesting. The lights are incredible (especially in the end). I recommend to anyone. Good job guys!

It was our first time there and it was a great show. Love that they get the audience to participate. We sat up in the balcony which is nice but they work on the sides and you cant see some of the clips.

Family fun for all ages. Only reason for the 4 star is that they only had 1 person working concessions so it took 28 minutes in line for a water and pop. The show was good and filled the evening with good clean fun!

The show we attended in March 2019 wasnt as good as I remembered from 8 years ago. It seems to have been dumbed down. I missed the rods and cones segment, as well as the explosive entertainment portion from the How To Be A Megastar segment. There was much less music than before, which is unfortunate because it showcased the unique instrumental genius that sets BMG apart from other shows. I was hoping that my husband and daughter would have the same amazing experience that I did, but unfortunately they did not.

First time seeing the show and I enjoyed it-- lots of excitement and unexpected aspects of the show. There were a few times that I felt as thought it might not be appropriate for kids under 12---but all the kids there enjoyed it..especially the really really loud kids behind me...I ended up moving to another seat! All in all, Im really glad I went to see the show.

Some found this noisy experience entertaining but it just was not for me

There are no words to describe how relieved I was that what we paid for these tickets was not a rip-off! What a fantastic show! The ads on tv dont begin to give any idea of what you should expect. Extremely inventive and completely original. We took our exchange student from South Korea and he loved it. I understand BMG just changed their show, so I guess well need to go again. I think I can force myself.

Street parking but metered. If parking at a meter be cautious as the signs around the area have time zone restrictions. Im not sure if the building has valet parking. The performance was visually stunning! I will say that the performance was louder than I expected. If you have sensitive ears like I do you may want to bring ear plugs as you will still be able to hear everything well with them in your ears. Otherwise, I had a great experience.

Ill give it a 2 for effort would be a 1 but these guys tried. Was hoping to see more drum water color action. Only good parts were the beginning and the end.

We saw the Blue Man Group over spring break in Chicago, IL. Trying to find parking was very ugly, make sure you get there early to find a parking spot. We ended up several blocks away, but its was nice out and found a cute shop on the walk so didnt mind. We got balcony seats, I was very pleased with them and enjoyed not being in the splatter zone. There were no photos allowed during the performance but we took a few before the show. Music was great, I was worried the kids wouldnt like it but they all did. Very funny, and somewhat on the gross side of funny - again glad we were safe in the balcony. I wouldnt go again, but dont regret going. It was a great time and we had lots of fun, but once in a lifetime was enough. Very cool performance! Would recommend it.

I went on with an organization to a touristic Chicago trip and this concert was basically the only memorable thing from the whole trip. I had an amazing time, I loved every moment of it, loved, loved LOVED. The performance was very impressive and hilarious, I cant remember a time I laughed that hard for so long, it was outstanding. If youre making a trip to Chicago or youre in the area I would highly HIGHLY recommend coming here, 20/10

This new show was very disappointing!! The remodeling in the lobby took away all the atmosphere. Saw the last 7 years of shows 4 times. It was that good!Now the new show is nothing in comparison, will not go back!! Hope they fix it and work on making better.

Not as energetic back in the day. It was still an awesome show. There was less tissue paper than before. I loved the theme of the show. It is super loud!

The better half and I went to this show for the first time. What can I say? Were we entertained? Yes we were. Did we expect more paint type things? Yes we did. But all in all we had fun, we were entertained. They have a decent crowd interaction also.

Only seen these guys twice, but both times were amazing! The first time a few years ago, I went with my family, and we all had a blast. I went again this year on Valentines Day with my girlfriend (great date idea) and undisappointedly, it was yet again a blast. They switch up the routine a bit, so its never dull or repetitive, and they take special requests to personalize the show for a price. Ill definitely be coming back!

This was a great show! It was my first time seeing them and I had a great time. I went with a friend of mine who had already seen them years ago and she mentioned it was the same material. My only suggestion would be to change their show a bit or to add different elements.

Very intertaining my daughter was really enjoyed watching them.

Very fun. Lots of good humor. Please keep family friendly. So hard to find a show you can take 8-16 year olds to. My kids loved it. But please! DON’T take kids younger than 8. I saw kids under 5 and babies there. It’s often very loud. Parents might not be disturbed by their kids crying but don’t ruin someone else’s night.

Great show to see. Great entertainment throughout the whole show. Great interaction with the crowd! The price per ticket is pretty high so Im thankful for groupon. We were in town for the 2018 Chicago pride festival and this location was in walking distance. I would go again for sure but next time with our kids.

I have waited probably 30 years to attend this show. I was finally able to go and it was FABULOUS! It is an intimate experience without the huge crowds, every seat is a winner!

I loved taking the kids to see the Blue Man Group. Children and adults alike had a blast. The show is funny and original. We laughed and danced, and at times it left us at awe.

The theater was easy to find and was a nice theater. We were a bit disappointed in the show. We like the groups signature performance of colored water bouncing off the drums but they only did 1 song near the end plus about 10 seconds early in the show. The sewer pipe marimba was pretty cool but there was a lot of corny audience interaction which took time away from what the group is known for. Some people seemed to love the show, a few others appeared ambivalent. It is all in personal taste. We were nervous about going into an unknown part of town but the area looked nice and we felt quite safe with all the people around.

Weve done this one and Boston. Both were fantastic

Everyone has to do this once in their life. Parking is on site for 15 dollars. Show starts the same for the most part but its always entertaining. Im not a huge music person but I enjoy it very much. A little pricey but well worth it, and look around they have sales and discounted tickets all the time. Not a bad seat in the place.

Ive gone 3xs over several years. Still highly entertaining. Great for family, date night, or celebration. Good show.

I wasn’t really impressed about the show I was expecting a better performance. I thought it was pretty boring the only good part was the first 5 min that’s was it.. not worth $45 at all and my time. All I know is that I’m never going back again, I’ve heardit was much better before.

We have been here now twice. Would recommend paying for the lot next to the theater it is monitored and so much easier to deal with at the end of the show. Also would take pictures with the blue men at the end. Make sure you get up there early some people are shy, but the blue men only stay out for pictures for about 20 mins and then have to go back to get ready for next show. Obviously it is a good show if we are going twice. You couldnt pay me to go in the splash zone, but some kids find it super fun to be in the action. The live band they added this time reminded me of circuis de solei Ka show in Vegas a little in a good way.

I got to be a part of the show. What an unforgettable experience!!!

Show was alot of fun! I enjoyed watching the band also. Brought people on stage and came out into the seating area to find them. Literally walked on top of the seats thru the audience. No intermission. Be on time or everyone knows your late. Parking on the side of the theatre if you get there early enough. Doors to get seated open 15 minutes before the show. Do sell alcohol and drinks, cash only for that part.
