This place was really cool and super affordable. It’s easy to get to as well and it is located in a very nice area. Even though we went on Valentine’s Day weekend it wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be. The best time to go here if you want to get quality pictures is on a weekday during the middle of the day when everyone is working. The one exhibit only allows a minute in the room which to me is just ridiculous. I think you should get more time for that room since it is the most iconic part of the place. You can only move forwards too and with a lot of people it is hard to get to experience everything fully. I will definitely revisit this place again though. Also they have free lockers to put your stuff in and tripods for your camera are not allowed.

If you want a place for great photos this is it. I took my niece and nephews: aged 4-24 and there was something for everyone. It’s supposed to be “pop-up” but it keeps extending its closing. But I suggest you get there before it’s gone! Some exhibits have changed since my first visit shortly after it opened.

Sooo many good photo ops. Take your time and get your shot. The infinity room was so cool! Be ready right as you go in because you only get 1 minute in there! They also had people writing poems on the spot which was super neat. You just gave them a word and then they type up a short poem right in from of you. They have restrooms and lockers.

I feel like there are categories to this. the experience, the atmosphere, and then overall amount of fun. I enjoyed the experience. I have also been to the Color Factory in NYC and that one was better. This one is a step down in the experience category. The atmosphere is very carefree. If you go with the right person, you feel like youve gone to another world. Its very immersive. Overall fun, look I hadnt had that much fun in a good long while. It was nice to get a break from life and slide own a slide or play with my image on a big screen or dance on a floor that lights up as you step around.I highly recommend it; for adults, for kids, for adults and kids even small children.

Really cool and great for cool photo ops and just playing around. Definitely kid friendly and adult Friendly too. It doesnt take too long to go through, we took maybe an hour -hour and a half. The neighborhood felt safe and they have a free locker for your personal items. Im glad I was there for their first installation but Im excited to go back when they have their next one (tangible vs intangible I think?). Part of the fun of going is not knowing everything youre going to encounter. Just trust that its very cool and pay attention to detail while youre there.

This seems like a museum built for Instagram and social media in general. It’s a very interesting concept in its own right and I think they executed it pretty well. I would recommend it, but only if you were interested in taking a bunch of weird pictures with your group. If that’s not the kind of thing you’re into, I think you’re better off elsewhere. You’ll go through it all too quickly and will have spent way too much on an experience. But if you can enjoy living inside a visually compelling moment and photograph, I highly recommend.

Nothing completely mind-blowing, but it definitely holds a plethora of nice picture opportunities with sections that just make you smile and laugh. Definitely give this place a try and you WILL leave in a good mood. Wish they had more merchandise though. I want to give this place more stars but as a paying customer, I walked away feeling misled. First, it costs $38 per person to get in. We were three visitors for a total of $114. This is one of the most expensive museums we have ever entered and we have had the privilege to visit many museums in different parts of the world. As a customer I would have liked clear information including that it’s a once through museum which means you walk in one direction only, can not return to previous rooms, and since people are waiting behind you, you don’t have a lot of time to enjoy the museum and the experience. In a matter of about 20 minutes, we found ourselves at the end even though we were originally told by the cashier that people spend about an hour going through. Anyhow, once we realized the experience was over in 20 minutes, we thought maybe we missed a few rooms and decided to go through again and THAT IS WHEN WE WERE TOLD we can only go through once. After reading other reviews I noticed some people went through twice so there’s that. Even though no one was waiting to go in, we were turned away. Someone went to ask if we could go through again but after feeling like we were asking too much, we just accepted that we overspent on a museum we had such high hopes for. Then a young man came and said we could go through but my teens had already lost their desire. It’s a cool tiny space but definitely way way way overpriced and misleading.

My first time going to a pop up museum was when I went to the Happy Place. I compared a little bit because I really liked how interactive the happy place was. This place is great for pictures and has awesome quotes all over the place. However, it was not as interactive as I was hoping it to be. It is still really great though. They have poets that write you a poem while you visit the museum. The bathroom had a fun disc ball and plays music. Go have fun!

My family and I really wanted to love wndr museum, BUT we all thought it was way to busy (packed) and considering they are assigning ticket times we expected it to be emptier (limited entries). We would have enjoyed the great exhibits much more had we not felt quite so harassed and rushed. With a short family experience like this costing almost $200 ($191 for 5 of us) we would have loved had we been able to truly enjoy all exhibits at our own paste and leisure. Turns out the 1st mission of wndr is $$$.

This museum isnt for everyone. Its pretty neat, but it feels like its designed for people who like posting pictures on social media. Many of the exhibits were cool, but felt like theyd be better appreciated if you were viewing them alone or with a predetermined group, rather than as a large boarding group who all got to go around the same time. I can definitely see why some people love this place, but for the same price I would have preferred something like the Chicago Field Museum.

When we re-entered an exhibit an employee scolded us and said that we were not allowed to view the exhibits twice and we needed to leave. It definitely does not live up to all the hype. For starters, the $32 ticket price per person is totally not worth it. There is no parking near by and street parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks . A couple of the exhibits are cool, but for the most part a Childrens museum or a Science and Tech museum holds more interest than this place. However, if you are the kind who loves selfies, Instagram and social media and have a good eye for photography, you are in the right space. You can spend an hour easily but when you walk out there is no real feeling of wndr. I would take my money and spend it on any one of the real museums in Chicago.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Biggest reason is the price. It’s $36 per person. Beside its price, it’s totally for instagrammers. If you are a person with no photography interest, you can finish the all museum in 20min. Some staff was trying to tell the story behind the exhibition. But they seemed very uninterested, they also don’t believe what they tell us. And you only have 1 min to see the most important section of the museum, infinity room - room with mirror balls- . They say it’s even 15-20 sec during weekends. They warn us as ‘better to have a photogenic face for 1 min’ . This was a big disappointment. And all balls were with finger prints...

There were even lots of little kids there the second time, and while I think an artsy/science-y kiddo would appreciate it more than others, they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. There always seem to be lots of Instagrammers taking lots of selfies, so if thats not your thing, I could see that getting in the way of the experience, but we didnt mind it, and theres so many other things going on, that its easy to look past.Tickets are a bit pricey at $35, and we got a parking spot for $6 on Spot Hero (street parking is VERY limited), so Id say its a fun night out!Oh! The price I was given on the phone, I passed on to the students. It did not however include the astronomical Ill/Chicago taxes which added almost 20% to the cost of the ticket which was absorbed by me, as the price was already a bit more than rural students can afford. The museum was nice, not as many exhibits as one would expect paying over $40 to visit. The students were disappointed with the museum and have voted not to include it this coming Christmas due to the cost. CKorwin, Dakota High School, Dakota, Illinois

If it wasnt for the size of the exhibits my experience would had been better. The installations are all separated from one another with curtains and makeshift walls in the warehouse. For the price, $38 after taxes/fees it was not worth it. If not an instagrammer, you finish the exhibition in 20 minutes. If you are an Instagrammer, you have to rush to get the perfect picture and hope no one else gets in your shot since again, the area is small. You go through the museum and wait in a line before entering each room since you dont want to intervene on another groups photo.Extra star to their employees who were extremely nice and energetic. All other museums in Chicago are about $25 and they are MASSIVE. You will get better photo ops at the Art museum than you will here.
