What a wonderful foodie experience. A lofty and woody atmosphere with a modern stainless kitchen. But the food was the real experience. The pork shank is the best pork dish I have ever had. Do try the biscuits and butter from the bread board . Love this place .

Went for dinner last night, beautiful interior! Exposed brick and wood, dark, intimate, very comfortable.The cocktails here are awesome! I had the House Cocktail which was close to a sazerac but slightly different. Unbelievably good, if a little pricey .

SkyBar was my go-to when I stepped into this city a long time ago. Staying at the Mondrian ensured entry, and this was definitely the place to be. During my early day pool visits, the bartender used to have plastic cups of pretzel Goldfish crackers which in turn, make you thirsty. Everyone wins!

How did i never go here before, im not sure. This is a must go to again, fun place. Good all around. Like the ultimate date place. I have never seen more people kissing (in a straight place) than this.

The live music is awesome! Drink selection is impressive too. Staff is friendly. A perk is that outside food is allowed which I’ve rarely seen at other restaurants and bars. I do wish there were more seating or space though. This place is easily crowded so in that aspect, it’s not always the most comfortable social atmosphere.

The lounge is small but very cozy. It was crowded. When we arrived they told us they didnt have a bar maid even though we reserved a section in advance. Later a waitress came in to serve 50 + customers. Other than that issue I can see it being a pleasant place visit. During the week you can see live bands and singers.

Live band and drinks are the attractions. Nice place to go and drink with friends. They allow outside food to be brought in which is nice. My only complaint is the size. Its a small space so its always crowded. Otherwise, nice hangout.

Sitting at the bar I felt as if I was wearing a cloak of invisibility. After ordering my first drink, I waited over 30 minutes for the bartender to ask if I needed anything else. The service used to be better. I will not be back.

I held my wedding celebration here with family and friends and it was absolutely beautiful and amazing. It was an intimate setting that was warming. Loved it!!!

The drinks was kind of pricey and I didnt like that they added 18% gratuity to your bill. The DJ was great, played all the right music to keep us dancing.

Listened to a great music set with the Greg Penn Crosswind Latin Jazz Band featuring Nicole Patrice on a Tuesday evening. Nice, cozy, intimate lounge to chill after work. The bartender was on point. She made the drinks just right and checked on everyone in my party. Will definitely return again.

Felt really classy. The drinks were expensive, but they were worth it. The atmosphere was clean and proper. Not the best place to party or rage however. Its a very intimate scene.

This is the Friday night after work spot for House music and fun sexy minority men and women. Not a lot of space to dance. But the crowd is great and so friendly! I have danced the night away on more than one occasion. The bartenders are pouring great drinks. These are NOT watered down and in fact even as a guy I had to show down my drinking as they were stout. Lol. So many beautiful professional woman that were happy to dance with an old flirty fool like me. Crowd is mostly 35 and up and professional white collar workers just getting off work downtown. Parking is very tight so try to not drive there if at all possible.

Although M Lounge is relatively small. I had a good time there Friday night with House music being played by one of my favs Alan King. He played a wonderful set that night. I also had wonderful service from the server. She was polite and attentive. The drink I got was good but pricey...but that South Loop for you!

First time visiting. I came to support DJ Vernell. Got to hear DJ Alan King and Cordell Johnson who both played nice sets as I love my House Music! Nice crowd and vibe. Cute bar tenders too! Even got to see the playoffs! Will definitely be back!

The staff is good but they need a beverage directors except for martinis not many selections. There nothing that sets them apart no cocktails and if your going to the loop you have better options.

TL;DR great vibe, great drinks, great spaceLocal Edition is hidden in Chicago, IL Fidi, the entrance is right next to a huge clock.The bar is downstairs, and the space is huge, great if you have a large party. The feel is super laid back and chill. I got the Local Edition, it had a nice fruity flavor. Youll probably never find parking, but BART is right on the corner.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have live music performances. Admission is free, but there is drink minimum. If one loves jazz, this is the place. It seemed to me that locals love this place and go there after working hours

They double booked on my friends bachelorette. Our party was crammed into a tiny space. Im surprised nobody got food poisoning from the room temperature chicken they put out. The music was all house all night and the DJ refused to play anything else. However, the staff was very friendly and the drinks were fine.

Their is a bartender their that is completely rude and inattentive..she was all of that for no reason

M Lounge is a Jazz Club located in the South Loop area of Chicago. It is very nicely decorated with a warm ambience. Jazz Vocalist Sarah Marie Young performed here the night of the 2013 Jazz Club Tour Trolley sponsored by the Jazz Institute of Chicago.I love the cozy intimate atmosphere at the M Lounge. I sat in front of stage to listen to the great young jazz band. This was another one of my favorite stops on the Annual Jazz Club Trolley Tour.

Went here for my birthday last year and had a blast! Quite welcoming! Nice chill spot with modern decor. The drinks were good... not too strong. The bouncer/waiter was nice, very helpful and patient. Music was fine. It was house music night so thats what the dj played but closer to the end of the night he mixed in r&b and hip hop. Everyone that joined me had a great time as well. Went back some months later and still no complaints! Adult crowd... No rowdiness so I give it !

M Lounge is an intimate venue: Perfect for an outing with friends. They have live music Tuesday and Wednesday nights. There is no cover charge, but bring some cash for the Love Bucket for the band! This was my first visit - a dear friend had rented the whole place for her husbands surprise birthday party. It was marvelous: the staff is warm and gracious; the band & singer were excellent; & I really enjoyed the laid-back, warm ambience. My first time, but definitely not my last. I cannot wait to go back!

This is a favorite place to enjoy great conversation with interesting people and have some of the best martinis on the near southside! Free street parking on Sundays. Otherwise, pay close attention to the signs. Its a quick walk or short cab ride if youre in South Loop neighborhood.Very interesting jazz throughout much of the week. This is a really nice place to enjoy adult life!

Went to the M Lounge with my husband and friend last weekend and we had a good time, but I was expecting more in terms of overall experience. The space is too small for its popularity, so we ended up sitting in the VIP lounge which is in the back away from the main floor near the bathroom. The seats back there were uncomfortable as well. On the plus side, the drinks were reasonably priced! As the M Lounge continues to grow, they may have issues with dealing with their demand because of spacing and having the capacity to serve drinks in a timely fashion. I would go there again though.

This is an EXCELLENT spot for the mature crowd! The bartenders are very attentive, the music is set to a reasonable level as to where you can have a conversation without yelling, and there is decent parking near the location. I will definitely be back.

Love this place! Its so intimate and inviting and regardless of how busy it gets, the staff is always very attentive and on their game. I frequent this place a few times, if not more, a month for the live jazz, strong/tasty cocktails, and intimate setting. You can even order outside food to be delivered in case you get peckish.

Hosted my 21st birthday party here and it was amazing, the drinks are delicious, staff is attentive and the dj played all the hits.

Great, but kinda choked. Limited space.
