This 9-hole course is a real gem in Marquette Park! Beautiful, well kept greens. Challenging holes. Affordable ($19) and surrounded by nature. This is my go to golf course in Chicago. You can walk or rent a golf cart.

Love this 9 hole course. Normally pretty well kept. When it rains a couple of the greens can get flooded but I can look past that if I just want to get out there. Fun and challenging.

Love playing Marquette. Solid Chicago park district 9-hole course, inexpensive, and perfect for walking and seeing the sights of the southwest side. Hit up some of their text deals too for cheap golf.

For the price, great. Can be slow at times. Overall in good shape, although the greens are usually overly soft

Great park for a great price!!! Staff is always friendly and helpful.

You get what you pay for. For being a public golf course its a well maintained though the rough is a little rough around the edges. Downside its not in the most appealing areas and their driving range is unsecure and has had unexpected visitors. Also, despite the range being completely separated from the proshop/starter they are no longer allowing golf carts there. Their staff is helpful but again if youre expecting a challenging pristine course youre not going to get it here.

For a 9 hole getaway, this is your place! Great for beginners or novice (such as myself). The staff was amazing! The young lady checking us in and out was kind and polite. The young man was working hard on a hot day to make sure everything’s as sanitized and clean in general and due to COVID. First time here and won’t be the last! Course is in great shape and is open for us novice or just get out for a quick 9’ers.

I love this course, not only cause its my home course lol staff is friendly, decent prices, Field is kept nice. Very great for a south side golf course!!

Its a very nice place the only thing I dont like thats a lot of garbage and the grass and all over itll be nice if they get more garbage cans and people that clean the place and keep a nice and clean that will be awesome

The play ground and the facilities are so nasty so dirty is so appropriate to take the kids or walk

Cheapest golf in the City, possibly in the state. Great if you want a chill golf experience without people judging your game. Short 9-hole course similar to other city courses.

Great place to fish. Lots of small catfish....bullheads..very busy place...neighborhood not that safe. Very busy park not enough police presence. Bit fishing is good. Great place to hunt bullfrogs.

What a dump. The entire course is weeds. Expect to find drug baggies and alcohol bottles throughout. Violent crime around the course makes it a great place to get shot or have your car broken into.Also, plan on there being lots of young children on the course behaving poorly.You would have to have zero regard for your safety to even attempt to golf at these 9 holes of crabgrass and creeping Charlie.

Staff is great, tha golf course is ok but the only reason my friends and I stopped going there, is because of the manager. She always jave an attitude, so rude and so disrespectfull

Cheap and good for practice. Lots of geese and there tends to be backups on holes, but still worth it. It being a Chicago Park District course, boozing is frowned upon.
