Hot Shots Sports has great programming. But, their most valuable asset is Coach Nick! Coach Nick is just amazing! My kids look forward to each class. He has been coaching at our school for over 10 years and students constantly request him. He has the most wonderful personality. He has phenomenal control of the kids and the class, they listen and respect him. He teaches them the fundamentals in a creative, fun environment. They truly learn so much from him! I have also had the privilege of working with him for several years to schedule classes or special events at our school and he is extremely accommodating and professional. I look forward to many more years of having him continue to coach classes. I would highly recommend him and the program. Coach Nick truly is the best!

My kids have been taking Hot Shots Sports classes through school for many years. They have great classes. We also had them for one of my sons birthday parties. My kids really like Coach Nick and we were glad to book him for the party. He is the best coach! Highly recommend Coach Nick and Hot Shots for your next party!

My son has been doing Hot Shots with Coach Nick through our local park district for a few years now. Coach Nick is unrivaled - in a class of his own for working with little ones. He is engaging, keeps the activities fresh each week, and the kids have a blast while learning foundational athletic skills. My kids would sign up for any class Coach Nick teaches! Highly recommend.

Coach Nick has been working at my school for ages, and with me personally for a year. Love working with him! He has a fantastic handle on our very Rowdy group and always has new innovative ways to get them moving. He has a great sense of humor, is both fun and firm, and is well loved by students and teachers alike! Highly recommend:)

Our family loves Hot Shots Sports! Nick and his coaches do a great job teaching fundamentals while making sure the kids (and parents) have fun. The coaches are able to get the kids to listen and encourage them to try different sports even when they may be scared to try. I would highly recommend their program!

As a parent, I was endlessly impressed by the personal patience and dedication of Coach Ryan. His instructional technique was engaging and helpful for his young first-timers. I love his use of vocabulary and repetition in language. He really takes the time to help and get to know each student. We have full-time school teachers who have a hard time doing that and here is a youth basketball coach putting them to shame and shining bright. Thank you, Hot Shots Sports!

Weve gone through one class with our two kids in Forest Park and it was a great experience. These folks arrive on time, have a high level of energy, know how to teach, but also care about the kids. Within the first lesson, they knew all the kids names and our kids really enjoyed the class. We had such a positive experience that we signed up for the next set of classes.

My 2 (Adult Tot Sports) and 5 (Sports & More) year old boys have loved participating in the classes offered by Hot Shots Sports. My 5 year old also participates in Basketball 101. We take the classes at the Roos Center in Forest Park. Coach Ryan is so good with the kids. He knows all their names and uses that to maintain their focus during each class. The activities within the classes move quickly to keep young kids engaged. My two year old has a sensory processing delay and it has been a great class to expose him to other kids his age, practice following instructions and get out some energy. We are now on our third session of classes.

Our son has been doing adult toddler sports with coach Ryan for about a year and a half now. Ryan’s knowledge of what children ages 2-4 are capable of is incredible. He’s so engaging with the kids. He has helped our son gain much needed confidence and at the ripe old age of 3.5, he’s got a pretty good arm now!

We really liked Hotshot Sports and will do another session. They partner with our park district to provide youth sports classes at our local rec center. We signed our 3yo up for the Sports n More class (3-5yo) for the first time this season and were very impressed. The coaches are extremely patient with the kids especially considering they do back-to-back classes 8:45am - 2:30pm. Only once did the coach have to pull in a parent and that was when a little one was completely done and taking too much of the coachs attention away from the rest of the class. Otherwise the coaches were really good at keeping or redirecting the kids attention. While some of the games seem complex theyre actually great at keeping the kids interested and engaged while teaching them sports fundamentals. Like the elaborate game of tag that was actually teaching them to run and steal bases. Or a game involving a hula hoop and whiffle ball that was teaching them to aim a ball at a specific target, i.e. a catcher or basketball hoop. One of my daughters favorites was a timed treasure hunt that seemed to be teaching them how to quickly find a ball in the outfield. All this seemed to build up to the final class where they hit a t-ball, had to catch and throw the ball, and chase it if they didnt catch it. My husband, who played sports all his life, was really impressed with their approach. Were definitely signing her up for another session!
